  1. DNA Testing is done at our facility often; Somtimes once a week. Our judicial system, which includes the FBI do not for the hell of it decide to random DNA test some run of the mill potheads. These people are using DNA to solve crimes, and some of the crimes they are working on even surprise some of us. DNA Testing for what it's worth, released a man at our facility for a crime he did not committ. He did over 20 years and for some reason he did it quietly and professionally. I know if I was innocent and spent that much time in jail I would probably be a dick. I think the LIfetime Channel is working on a movie about his incarceration and the "set-up" that put him behind bars. One day years ago I was eyeballing him just because I could and all staff employees had a great report with this guy. After he seen me eyeballing him he approached me and simply said: "Lou, I didn't do it" My simple reply was: "I never said you did" Guys, Mrags is correct. A lot of these guys already incarcerated have committed multiple crimes in NY and other states before they got arrested and convicted in NYS. I have seen men in the past who think they are going home, but when they get to the administration building, the long arm of the law is waiting for them and they have no idea that they are even there. And when the arrest is made in our lobby, the look on their face is priceless and that look usually tells the rest of the story. For the previous posters, the following posters, and the un-posters; Jail is supposed to be unfair. If you consider the victims and their families and the grief that they have suffered, only then will you begin to think like us. As in football; There are two teams in jail and I'll let you readers figure out who the green team is. I'll give you all a clue; Most of the green team do not fit or can they function in our society. My advice to those who post without knowing all the facts. Take the test and join the blue team. It will be an eye opener and a learning experience you will never forget. Or read the book "NewJack" But keep in mind, this author only had a year on the job when he quit to write the book. Lou
  2. I read the OP's entire post and I will admit that the read did require some patience. I was puzzled about some of his comments, then agreed with some and disagreed with others. However; The post didn't anger me, like it somehow managed to anger others. Opinions are like !@#$s and we all have one. And while some are nicer than others, It definitely could be worse. Imagine If everybody had the same opinion! Our lives would be a journey through the desert. Be thankful. Happy 4th everybody. Lou.
  3. "Regarding Henry" / Harrison Ford "Overboard" / Kurt Russell & Goldie Hawn
  4. I hired a scuba diver who patches pool liners as a side job. We couldn't even find the holes but we knew we had a leak. We now have two circular patches in the deep end (9 feet deep) that do not match the rest of the liner but as long as it holds I can live with it. Cost of a new liner: $3000.00 plus. Cost of the patch job and the entertainment of watching a scuba diver in your pool: $125.00. We are on year three since the patch job. MY advice.... and I am a do it your selfer....Do not drain your pool and attempt a patch job by yourself. If it don't work you are right back where you started. Lou
  5. Old Black & White Movie: "Lafayette Escardele" Recent Movie from 70's: "Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry"
  6. I love these threads too NH. As long as everybody can stay on topic. Lou
  7. Trade the often injured Manuel to the Jags and swap 1st round picks. Our 9th for there 3rd. Hey ! You said bold !
  8. Just a co-worker recovering from a retirement party.
  9. Did not like the pick, and still don't, regardless of round. Since EJ wears the red, white and blue it's my job as a Bills fan to suck it up and cheer him on unconditionally.
  10. Coach; Will the focus of the new analytics department sway roster turnover ?
  11. How did EJ get hurt in preseason? Answer: Getting coffee for the coach. Now; How about we rile the fan base with some real off the wall controversey ? The staff at One Bills Drive want EJ healthy so they can trade him for draft picks ! DOH !
  12. While reaching for the butane lighter; "Come out to the coast!" "We'll get together!" "We'll have a few laughs!"
  13. I can' t remember what play-off game it was, but it was during our Superbowl glory years. After The Bills scored a TD an unknown Bills fan was on television holding a sign that read: "Deal with it America" Encouraging words that I still lean on when the BIlls are playing lousy rotten football. Hope to see that sign one more time, because it will only mean one thing: "Superbowl baby" !
  14. I've been wearing a Bills hat all day, every day, for the past 39 years. When I'm at the mx track and someone is looking for me that doesn't know me, they descibe me as the guy wearing the bills hat. I have only saved three of them and of the three, one is in real bad shape. I have accidently went to sleep with one on. jumped in the pool with one on, accidently showered with one on. I have accidently worn the hat at my job several times, where personal hats are not allowed. I get a lot of laughs. But to answer the question I'd have to say; I don't know what I would do. Not yet anyway. I guess I'll just have to ride it out with the rest of my old time bills fans ... and you newbie bills fans as well. "Lou"
  15. To answer the OP I don't think anyone's given up on EJ yet. The Bills have a loyal and hard nosed fan base to a degree. It really doesn't matter who the QB is; When they play poorly the pitchforks will always come out. And the past 13 years are living proof of that. Winning is the only cure. Scrutiny for poor performance will always come from the media, the fans, the haters, the coaches and your team mates too. Even the team janitor will hate you if you play as bad as EJ did in the Pitt game. The key is accepting it, then learning from the poor performance and then, moving forward.
  16. It's my fix. My grandfather was a vikings fans, my father a packers fan. (God rest their souls) Unfortunately for them I wasn't feeling their fanhood when I was a teen. When I saw Joe Ferguson play for the Bills the adrenalin surged through my body for the entire game. I couildn't control it. I thought I was having a heart attack. The feeling subsided only when the game was over. The following week it happened again and continued every time I watched Ferguson play, regardless if they won or lost. When Ferguson went to Detroit the adrenalin surge ended. When Kelly became the QB my fix was on again. I am basically an adrenalin junkie. It's a buffalo thing, it's a QB thing. And It's better than weed. Unfortunately for me; Buffalo has had only five QB's since my fanhood began that can send me over the edge. The other three: Reich, Flutie & Tuel. I can watch and I will cheer for Manuel all day, as I have for all the other QB's for the Bills. But what I do know right now is, I won't be having that feeling that I can bench press my pick-up truck any time soon. Great and funny post idea. Sure beats all that negativity stuff. And Thank You all Veterans.
  17. I was disappointed after watching Marrone's post game presser tonight. Like last week, I thought he would be angry again. I thought for sure that he would be flailing his arms and making comments about being madder than a dog shiting tacks. What he was doing, was gushing about Manuel instead. Really surprised with Marrone's demeanor in regards to Manuel's performance tonight.
  18. What do you haters see in Tuel that you truly hate about yourself ? I am very curious ? And in addition; I remember watching this guy named Joe Montana; Who by the way had compromised arm strength... and if I remember correctly, I think he did very well for himself, the team and the fans who supported them. And It doesn't matter how long ago it was. Football is still football, coaches still coach and managers still manage. And Tuel is still on the roster. Can we just unite and root for our team; They need us ! Win or lose ! Goodnite all
  19. The Bills draft, in my opinion is best summed up by the song "It's Time" by the "Imagine Dragons." In fact, this song says a lot about our fan base as well. Agree to disagree is fine; But without music, life would be a journey through the desert. Absolutley a fantastic draft. As a 39 year fan, I'm proud. Lou
  20. The pay back was when Michelle named the Brady boy, Jonathan Edward Thomas. His initials J.E.T. My only concern is this: Is Tom spending time with his son? Or is he a deadbeat dad too?
  21. jw; Hatred is self defeating John; If you don't resolve it, it will consume you. It's just a message board, over flowing with personal opinions. Simple words from dis-gruntled angry fans who are venting their frustations. To summarize: A coach was hired, he accepted; was then paid to perform a task, only to become over whelmed with the task at hand. It's just banter. John. It's basically a celebrity roast. For those who can't take the heat, just exit the kitchen, or get some thicker skin. Geeeeez ! Lou
  22. Unfortunately; I started the rumor in the "Thurman Thomas" thread. Post # 67 @ 6:11 pm. And it was only in fun. And as a fan for almost 39 years I have to laugh to keep myself from crying.
  23. I'll take a stab at it: BILLS NEW HEAD COACH GRUDEN. or: BILLS CHAN GAILEY TO RESIGN. or: Lou
  24. One is the hemorrhoid, the other is the pad1 They go hand in hand.
