  1. dog14787 Thank You for the invite, much appreciated. And not to stir up your ire, but you missed the point on following Captain Trent into a burning building to rescue people while I'm nice and safe outside. I speak from experience and not ego. Trent would NEVER ENTER the burning building, would never lead you into battle, and would never ever lead anyone into a rioting cell block to take back the prison. Trent is the guy that's bigger than me, stronger than me, smarter than me, better looking than me, but he is the one weeping uncontrolably on his knees, racked with fear, because he is an absolute coward. Your QB is your leader and I know this scenario is a little extreme. But those men I've seen buckled by fear is your same hero Trent. Sorry again
  2. I know this is a little off topic; but it's a really good scenario for leadership qualities. So hell with the stats for a sec. If we were "all" firemen, would you follow Trent Edwards into a burning building? I wouldn't ! Because I have followed real leaders into battle... and into burning buildings. And Trent Edwards is no leader. Sorry Trent Edwards fans, you just need to face reality. I'm sure he's a good dude, just not a good football player.
  3. IMHO, Trent Edwards in a package deal for pending draft pick(s) (Ha Ha ! I know) The majority of fans despise this guy for his actions, his play and his past statements and or quotes. He's been heavily booo'ed at the Ralph, among other things, yet he denied ever hearing it, or seeing it; stating that he was concentrating on the game too much to hear the booo's or see the items thrown at him. Most fans are already at their breaking point with guy. Some valid reasons and some not so valid. I say cut the cord !! It's long overdue, regardless of his potential talent. Buffalo is a tough place to play. The fans own him! The same fans that are so mean and angry they would throw their own mother out of the upper deck.
  4. Nah! He sent somebody else to the island to get that big cardboard check, just like the one they use on TV.
  5. I visited the Grand Caymens in 2003. The island has more financial institutions per square mile than any place in the U.S. There were about forty banks on the island back then. And of those forty, there was only one bank with only one client. And if that isn't a gross display of wealth, then I don't know what is. It would be a safe bet to say that Ralph Wilson has an account in one of the financial institutions on that island. Hence the trip.
