  1. Correct. No reason to trade a good, young, talented player coming off a down year. Thats like trading a stock just after it plunged on the market. Keep him, hell only get better next year.
  2. I am a senior at UCF and while I like UCF Knights football, it doesnt compare to my sick love for the Bills. However, I have gone to a lot of games throughout my years and I have seen Troup in action a decent amount of times. I know a lot of people/friends of mine are really high on this guy. Says hes a beast and I believe he is as well. He was consistently double-teamed and we had a pretty good defensive running game almost every year. Would free up linebackers a lot and be a real physical player. Tough kid, who did not take many plays off. My girlfriend also had a bunch of classes with him and said he was a super nice guy. Seemed lazy, but that normal since the guy works out a lot. She also said everyone liked him and he seems really genuine. Thought I would pass on the knowledge and while i was still very much surprised, i believe this pick will reap a lot of benefits for us. Him and Kyle are very similar and will work well to improve each others game.
  3. Meredith is our future right tackle and a good swing tackle right now
  4. Now Faneca is on the trading block!!! The things that got them being back on track, they are trading away, their lines. schedule.htmlLinky poo
  5. Been on him for a while at number 9, but have sinced moved on. I feel he can make a big impact on our defense, but will not be the BEST player available. I think we will go with Rolando McClain. Although, I would love Graham, and dont care that he is a "reach" which is total bs. The guy is a player!
  6. Boom: Brandon Graham Rolando McClain Jerry Hughes Busts: Sergio Kindle Dez Bryant Bryan Price
  7. I'm not afraid to admit I was wrong. I have been all over Brandon Graham so far as the Bills top pick at #9. I have finally jumped off that bandwagon and have gone in a new direction. Last year, the only guy I wanted in round 1 was Everette Brown. I couldn't believe that he lasted to the second round and Carolina picked him up. I learned he was very talented, but will need a couple years to figure out in the NFL. Although, I still think Brown will be a fantastic DE in a couple of years. I say that to say this. I have realized that Brandon Graham is that same type of player, and while I would still love to have him, I understand he will be too far of a reach and there will be better players available at number 9. After listening to Buddy Nix for a second time during the draft luncheon, I realized who he intends to take at 9. All of course, if we do not trade and that two players wont be there when we pick, who most likely will be long gone by then. They are Trent Williams and Russell Okung. I honestly think that Buddy Nix is speaking the truth in his presser, and he kinds of gives insight into his thinking. With that say, I really do believe the Buffalo Bills will be taking Rolando McClain. The Alabama Linebacker is almost a lock to be there at 9 and is one of the safest picks in the draft. Nix said that he is not worried about "having too many good players". This would be the classic "best player available". Nix also hints at not taking a QB or LT. After not being diagnosed with Crohns Disease, after being reported to have it, McClain makes for a great pick. 20 years old. Big. Strong. Fast. Pair him with Poz and with Andra coming in as insurance, this makes perfect sense. Andra is a stop gap (2 year contract, no that much money). Rolando has played in a complex 34 and has called the defense. He doesn't have to do that here, but will be a "smart" rookie. I also feel like adding Mount Cody for obvious reason would make for a great second round pick. Kyle Williams will and can play nose, but we need quality insurance. So there it is, First two round Im calling both Alabama defensive players. If we weren't so full at CB. I would say add Arenas and then Deanderick. I really like Brandon Deaderick in maybe the 5th round. played REALLY well in the SEC and National Championship games. AllDayADay
  8. Nice find! Very much needed! This isnt baseball its a team sport!
  9. I know I have stated this before, but I really think Brandon Graham is going to Buffalo's pick. You pointed him out and its exactly what we need even though it is not seen by a lot of you on these boards. Tom Modrak was asked in the luncheon if Aaron Schobel's decision on whether to retire or not will have any effect on the draft. He said "absolutely not". That too me sounds like they know they need pass-rushers. Also he sounded very high on Jerry Hughes, which I do not think deserves a first round pick, but definitely in the 2nd. Brandon Graham to me if by far the pass pass-rusher in this years class. Very good leverage and pad level. A polished pass-rusher with various counter moves and has quickness. Him playing on a bad defense, I think will have a positive effect in the NFL. Was double teamed a lot and is very powerful. Can be taught the OLB and be used as a DE on passing downs. With all the moves that were made to better our rivals passing games, there is only one counter for that and that is pass-rush. For all those who really think were going to take QB, I think you're going to be sadly mistaken. We need to build this defense up. I really think that offensive line is important also, but no one is worthy of the 9th overall pick that is going to be there. The only two offensive tackles I would consider would be Willaims and Okung and neither are going to be there. If you think that we need Buluaga, just turn on the Michigan v Iowa tape. Listen To Me. We need him and I think the front office agrees. Do not be shocked when you here his name called Thursday.
  10. People seem to forget that we won 6 games last year with an interim head coach, a revolving door at quarterback and O-line. Thats one win shy of what the Dolphins did. With that being said, we will win at least 9 games. Give Chan some time with the offense and George Edwards time with the defense, we will be in better shape than a lot of this high-spenders in our division. Its a TEAM game, dont forget.
  11. Agree. I look at it as this is more pressure for Sanchez to perform more than he did in his dismal rookie year. Lt IMO was a bad pick-up. I see distaster written all over this. Mark my words. Rex Ryan will run this team in the ground. he inherited a team with a fantastic offensive and defensive lines and has made foolish pick ups. Except for Bart and Jimmy Leonard.
  12. And starting only 9 games and playing in only 13. Very very impressive. Dont know why he doesnt get more credit. Warren Sapp and Darren Sharper were asked who are the best up and coming ball hawks. Really thought that they were going to mention Jairus, but instead Darren named Darrelle Revis, which i can understand. Then Warren Sapp says Asante Samuel. Are you kidding me? His coach just called him out in the media for his play and hes not up and coming, hes like 8 years pro. Didnt understand that one at all.
  13. I totally agree. That Michigan vs Iowa is very important game to look at. It shows the 2 players that I think the Bills need to consider taking, going against each other. Bulaga, I have mixed feelings about. I think he struggles sometimes against the pass, but his run blocking is the best I have seen in long time from a LT. He could move too RT, but I think we feel comfortable about Cornell for at least a couple of years. D Bell as a swing tackle seems like the best option, but still think he can be a good LT in the league in the future. Im impressed by Charles Brown from SC and Okung of course. Even like Anthony Davis, but feels he needs more work and we need an immediate starter from day 1. Also, think Trent Williams will be a good LT. Think Charles Brown is most athletic. I also agree on taking Graham since we know he should be there. Feel like he can be a real game changer at the next level. Never get enough pass-rushers on the field and we dont have that many. I believe the Bills number 1 priority in front of a qb is to solidify the edges of the lines. Thats where in years past we were exposed.
  14. Dont know why Moats would be an ILB, hes an olb/de prospect.
  15. Good find. Also really really like your quote at the bottom. I cracked up when I heard that.
  16. Ok, have to defend my post. First, Brandon Graham in my opinion is the best player available. Its also at a position of need to for us. We need to build up this new 34 defense with quality players. I think we are overrating the defense and underrating the offense. Our best coaches were on the defense side of the ball plan and simple. We have decent weapons we just desperately need some protection. We need a vet LT. Not another young one. I believe in D. Bell. Give this guy a chance. We all were shocked he was even going to start last year, and by no means was he a pro-bowl LT, but he did as good as any rookie LT in the draft is going to do. Besides Okung and maybe Williams. Flozell Adams would be a perfect option in my opinion and I believe he would have a bigger impact than Mcnabb at this point. Second, Terrence Cody is pretty self-explanatory. Big man that is a must in this draft to take some of the load off of Kyle Williams. This guy is still growing and will struggle with his weight, but big men are hard to come by. He would solidify the middle of our defense for years to come, mostly on the first two downs. Third, Dexter McCluster is our "water-bug" type of player. He really impressed everyone at the senior bowl, but didn't test amazing at the combine. Amazing toughness and elusiveness with the threat of taking it to the house every time he touches the ball. I would be okay with Trindon Holiday in maybe the 4th and then taking Dickerson in the 3rd, but would love McCluster.
  17. 1. Brandon Graham 2. Terrence Cody 3. Dexter McCluster
  18. I like your 1st and 4th round picks. Forget what anyone says about where a player "expects" to go. You like a player you take him. Dorin Dickerson is a beast at TE if he can learn how to block. Imagine him and Nelson as our TEs. Could be niceeee.
  19. Now hear me out, Brandon Graham will be our pick with the 9th spot overall. If of course, we do not trade the pick to move further down. If anyone remembers last year, Aaron Maybin was not talked about as a popular pick for us and we all know how it was about Orakpo and other players with the 11th pick in mock drafts. Well, Brandon Graham is not only a more productive player than Maybin, but we have more reasons to take him, since we know Schobel only has a couple years left if that. Michigans defense was very flexible in what type of scheme they played. 34 or 43 they played both and Graham played well. Moving into defensive end in a 3 man rush sometimes. This guy just reminds me of a Lamarr Woodley/ Dwight Freeney type of player and its scary how good he can be. Now, nothing is more important to this league besides quarterbacks than pass-rushers. You can never get enough of these freak athletes! If you think about it besides Maybin who we all know (and I still believe in him) is a questionable pass-rusher in 34. Schobel may do great, but is old and may not even come back (I think he will). Besides those two we have Kelsay (dont think hell make the team this year), Chris Ellis (Jury is still out and thats a generous statement and maybe Kawika who I like more in the middle even though I think he can play anywhere. In not going to keep beating a dead horse, but I really believe that when we pick if there is not someone on our boards that Buddy feels great about taking, we will go with Graham, in my opinion the guy is a cant miss pick. Proof is in the pudding...
  20. I love the idea of adding Golden Tate. Think he the most underrated receiver in the this years draft. Although, if Mount Cody is there, we HAVE to take him, no option we need that BUM (Big Ugly Man).
