  1. I was thinking the same thing if Gailey was on the Cowboys staff when he was there. I think well at least have him in for a visit or workout.
  2. Sign him up. Wont need to rush D Bell back from his injury or be forced to pick up a O-Tackle in round 1. Give him a 1 or 2 year contract.
  3. More scary than good. I would hate to have Clausen. Something about him rubs me wrong. The guy is my age and I can just tell I would not like him if he went to my school. I like the part of the report that he throws the ball like a javelin, because its true.
  4. Really???? How come everyone is down on Hardy and labeling him a bust? The guy had a decent ROOKIE year. No rookie wide receiver does anything unless they are crazy fast (Desean Jackson). Give the guy a non-injury starting season and see what he does. If he went to a good passing team this guy would be a force.
  5. Until we know the Byrd man is going to be 100 percent for training camp we need Donte. Lets give Donte another year in a new scheme. IMO
  6. I do not understand why he wouldnt want to come here, yet he says he will go to St.Louis. We have a much better roster and we know he doesnt mind the weather. We need to make this happen. I was thinking since this is one of the best drafts in the past 10 years than why dont we maybe swap first rounders and give them a late rounder in next years draft.
  7. Ive said before also. If we do not get Graham. Hughes in round 2 would be a steal. Dude is nasty! He to be is more like Maybin though. Beat you around the corner. I would prefer Graham because he seems more flexible in his position then Hughes is.
  8. I also think it sounds like a de/olb just because of the inexperience there. If we do not get one in round one (like a Brandon Graham) I think we should take a loooonng look at Jerry Hughes. Dude is a bad man! With Demetrius Bell, I too am shocked to see how far he has come and for nobody to admire it. Everyone always talks how poorly he did this season. I think he held his on against the run last season and if it wasnt for that retarded no-huddle (with the o-line we had) I think he would have had a much better year in pass protection. The guy moves very well for his size and his strength is improving. He will be our 3rd tackle at worst this season. He will push whoever there is at LT. FACT.
  9. Im hearing a lot of OTs and QBs in mock drafts for the 9th spot. I do not think there is a top 10 talent O-Line or Qb besides Okung and Bradford. I think experts are putting guys like Clausen and T. Williams and Buluaga up in the top 10 because there is a need for those positions. I believe the Bills will go best player available and this guy will be there because he hurt his hamstring and played on a bad defense. The best pass rusher in the draft..... BRANDON GRAHAM and go o-line and d-line the in picks 2 and 3
  10. Enough said... Man-handling Logan Mankins! SIGN HIM UP!
  11. Yeah because we hate our corner backs and leave them in the dark about what we are going to do on defense when we want them to start learning the system. I really do not mind Drayton for sharing this information, I do not think it gives away our defense at all. I could see Rolando coming to Buffalo, but with Kawika, Poz, and now maybe Andra Davis on the inside.. Not sure where he fits. If we draft him, he will start though.
  12. Not saying it wouldnt be a good thing, but I like some other names out there. Allelman just got signed by the Colts, liked him. I just really want Jamal Williams in here!
  13. Yes, I actually would. I live in in South Florida and he started his career with the dolphins. Granted, he was playing tackle.
  14. Wade Smith meeting with the media at noon today? Hope a deal isnt official.
  15. Never really thought about Boldin being a serious consideration for us, but to really think about it, I think he would be a perfect compliment for Lee. Some one to go underneath and get yards after the catch, something weve been lacking for years. It would also allow Hardy or Stevie to go on the outside or slot, whichever they are more comfortable with, and have Boldin do whatever they need of him. Send a 3rd. Rookie receivers dont do jack! The only factor that is a negative is he probably wants a new contract.
  16. Now its not official but PFT is reporting that another Charger's player is reporting Williams is as good as gone. This would be a HUGE acquisition for us if we can act on it and bring him in. I think this guy is one of if not THE best 3-4 nose when healthy. The only thing that would prevent us would be his health. Dont know what his injury was, but think it had something to do with his arms (triceps maybe). Buddy used to be around this guy, so I think this is very much possible!
  17. I do apologize. I thought you were talking about Robison from the Vikings. I do not mind that Bryan Robinson from the Cardinals. Thought hew held his on on a 3-4 line, but of course he had a guy like Darnell Dockett next to him, who is constantly getting double-teamed.
  18. Yeah I know exactly what part you are talking about, but hope that day never comes nor do I think it will. Watching the office right now.
  19. You dont know who Bozo the clown is???? What kind of name is Eric for a clown anyway????
  20. I must admit when Chan Gailey was hired I was almost in shock. After all the talks about "big name coaches" coming to Buffalo I was a very much let down to find out Chan Gailey was going to be out next football coach. I realized then that Buddy had a plan. If you think about Chan Gailey's last coaching position it was with a Chiefs offense that couldn't do anything with Todd Haley this past year. I think we would all be pretty happy if Todd Haley came and coached our offense. With that said, I believe that Gailey is an underrated offensive mind. Since, he was out of the professional ranks for a good portion of the past 7 years. Moving past the offensive coaching staff, I must admit that i have been impressed with the defensive hiring of George Edwards. I really really don't know what I would have done if we hired Jim Bates as our defensive coordinator. That would have made me think that this is the same old type of coaching staff the Bills hire. Keeping Coach C and Sanders tells me we were doing something right in the past defense, but needed fresh ideas (Fewell didn't have). The 3-4 makes me ecstatic. For a bunch of reasons, but mostly because of the creativeness that comes with it. No more looking at your tv and knowing what type of coverage we are going to play before the ball is even snapped. I really think we will see our players full potential with this coaching staff and scheme. I really also like the strength and conditioning coaching choices too. One to work with lineman and one for the quicker small type of positions. Dont know much about these two men, but their records speak pretty well. Now, one of the best changes I think we made was in the front office. I love Buddy Nix and his no b.s attitude. I also really like hiring of Doug Whaley. Getting a mix between a chargers and steelers type of team/roster/coaching staff really makes me excited for a athletic/strong/fast/physical team!
  21. Check the wall before posting... Already a post about this subject
  22. Rotoworld is reporting that Tra Thomas is going to be released by the Jacksonville Jaguars. This guy was a stud with the Eagles and may be inexpensive at this stage of his career. Just a thought, maybe give D Bell another year of maturing and playing our back up swing tackle position.
  23. I think this turns the Byrdman into a more playmaking ball hawk than last year. Opposing qbs knew where this guy was going to be on the field most of the time. This 3-4(which makes me more excited than any free agent addition or draft pick) will cause more qbs to think more before throwing it against us. Jairus was playing deep middle the whole game. Thats all he did. I see him all over the field but still playing deep center ala Ed Reed.
  24. Trade Kyle Williams???? You obviously have never watched a game of the Bills this past season. This guy gets more pressure for us than any other player (besides Schoble sometimes), and you want to trade him? He is everything right with the Buffalo Bills. To say that two no name dt's can handle the duties of 34 nose, you are sadly mistaken again. Also, Marshawn Lynch is not going anywhere.
