  1. For those who are self discerning the daily tribulations of life give us a chance to recognize our own deficiencies and some aspire to rise above their own short comings as a means of seeking truth or chasing dreams acquired by means intrinsically and extrinsically. You might say the practice of our own deficiencies can motivate us to be better as insecurity can nourish ego. I’m sorry my alter ego just told me to snap out of it.
  2. You were doing so well until you dropped that one in. Ego has nothing in common with confidence and everything to do with insecurity. The first 20 were great.
  3. It’s been quite a while but I think I remember now. This is what success looks like. It’s very easy on the eyes. This 2 and 9 looks like 9-2 to me. I’m excited for next year but can’t wait for next week. Thanks Chan.
  4. It was a tough loss man but we are back. I started a topic on this once and it got shut down by SDS Who’s the worst sports journalist?. Since journalists and analysts impact the perception of the sport in some degree I think it is only relevant that we debate their competencies as we do players, teams and organizations. It was my feeling that we should have a running top ten list. That this board could expose some of the foolish ones as well as the credible. Your thoughts?
  5. Aaron Maybin - two words of advice. Twinkies and Steroids. and lots of em. He looked like Leodis McKelvin blitzing off the corner until I noticed it was 58 not 28.
  6. Actually I thought Soloman Wilcots did a great job. I personally like how he described Freddy Jackson’s running style of corkscrewing his way through defenders. He gave Buffalo a lot of compliments if that’s all you want to glean from watching. I thought he was insightful and he didn’t interfere with the entertaining quality of the game as I sometimes see in others who talk over the action and make themselves the show, i.e. Joe Theismann or where ever Keyshawn Johnson shows up. But we all have our takes, I happen to disagree with yours. BTW, he played in the league for 6 years as a db, to question his education or knowledge in the sport is just plain silly. Even if you don't like his style, you owe him that much.
  7. Remember that one game, when ah against the Texans, when ah Losman threw that bomb and Evans caught it? That was awesome too.
  8. I hope its not too late to get Andre Luckeau. He might even be better than that Fitzgibbons. We just need to stop throwing to Stevie Jenkins brother.
  9. Agreed, I think Chan Galley is one kind of coach. Like Marv Levy, we may have hitched our wagon to his at the perfect time in his career. I’ve never seen a guy so impress with a 2-9 record. This entire team has the look of an emerging talent. I feel confident that next year will start a long string of playoff appearances.
  10. Before Fitz, we had a reputed below average receiving core.
  11. I'm starting to lean in your direction there. Evans has no imagination in his route running. If he was any less creative, he would be brain dead.
  12. Not if Trent was still quarterbacking. It's amazing that we are suddenly overstock at a position we could never fill for years.
  13. Good words to live by if you’re a buffalo bill. But knocking TO because he’s selfish and takes up too much oxygen is like getting mad at the wind. His act has matured to the point where its at least funny. Sports Nation highlighted his classic turkey armed semi-attempt at a ball over the middle a couple weeks ago that directly led to an interception and exemplified a total meltdown as Palmer threw for 5 int’s despite near 400 yards passing. And now he’s challenging Revis. That’s funny. I can only imagine what Ryan has planned for TO.
  14. TO & Ocho make it fun man. Actually T.O. had a damn good game. That td catch that was called back for the O-Line holding and the 4th down conversion catch on sideline were exceptional. Wasn't a fan in the past but enjoy his role as instigator now. I have to watch that he's called Revis out. Also looking forward to seeing what Sanchez does following Fitz's feats.
  15. No, he ain't no Peyton. Reminds me more of Drew Brees. And what the hey is a chuck and duck type passer? I've never heard of that style. Is there a stat for grading on that?
  16. I think we should draft Andre Luck because he’ll be a solid backup guy for Fitz.
  17. I gotcha. Thank goodness for total ignorance. For without that none of us would be here.
  18. Or you could say We are the team that earned them that record.
  19. Just like Rocky Balboa, the Bills are determined not to go down again. This team looks like it has totally figured it out. After 8 games, they have learned what not to do. I predict they will roll the table from here. It is a fact that some 8 and 8 teams have made the playoffs. This could be the year. Get To The Top Of The First Round Buffalo. You never know we could get Luck_ You don’t have to win to be optimistic. Oh darn I said the word. I may have doomed it all.
  20. I bet it has crossed many of the coaches thoughts, the old coach axiom we need to take this boy out to the shed but in this case for what. It ain’t worth even the effort of discipline as we’re finding out it’s not worth wasting time in trying to teach him the nuances of the game. You can’t instill talent and you can’t make someone smart who isn’t. At some point I suppose sooner than later, they will just admit, this dog can’t hunt. Nut Maybin will continue to act out like he’s a hollywood star as a peacock flairs it’s feathers. Some dumb people like to flaunt their ignorance. Maybin has become the poster child for what is not the attributes of a nfl prospect.
  21. He makes our practice squad better. And did you check our record lately? Most other players probably would make our team better.
  22. No comment. Chan say to follow old Chinese proverb "never wrestle man with boner"
  23. I can't believe the nfl continues allowing this farcical maneuver. It promotes cheating not strategy and turns the game into something of a sham.
  24. Sorry ace, that home run you hit doesn't count. You see while you busy swinging, you failed to notice that the manager called time out. A Fifty Three yard field goal isn't a chip shot - really.
  25. Agreed. We are a very flawed team like most in the nfl including the one we played today. But something needs to be done about this asinine rule. The modern NFL was a better league without it for its first 60 years or so til 200?. I can't believe the nfl continues allowing this farcical maneuver. It promotes nothing but a sense of fraud upon itself and those who partake in viewership. Maybe we just need enough fans to stand up and start shouting at the commissioner in one collective voice like John McEnroe used to with his line judges. I wrote about this in another thread. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/122496-time-for-nfl-to-ban-time-out-just-before-kick/
