Quarterback is a no brainer, question is though is there one good enough to validate taking 9th overall.

I just want him to show some flashes of potential win or lose. Do something rather check down. Show some mental toughness and some skill that would indicate he can play in the NFL.

Trent Edwards is pathetic. Everyone around him is to blame but him right? I mean if I had the perfect storm around me I would be a millionaire and life would be peachy. You have to make the most of your surroundings. If there has to be a perfect scenario for one to succeed then he must not be that good.

JP Losman is a loser. Let's please move on. Why do people still cling to hope on this guy, he is gone, its OVER. I want to get a better QB, not someone we had already that was a bust.

Our standards have clearly dropped for Quarterback play going by these posts. All you hear is excuse after excuse for Edwards. It is clear that throughout the last 10 seasons our expectations for a decent signal caller have dropped. What a sad state of affairs we are in. Personally I don't like any quarterback on this roster. We need to start over with this position. A good quarterback will shine through, a bad offense, line, coaching etc. He will at least show some promise. Edwards has shown nothing.

I never said just a star QB would fix the offense. You need more than that obviously. I just don't think Trent is that good. I would however think it would be a good building block to get a quarterback in here that can perform. I mean I am tired of check downs and QBs throwing for 86 yards a game personally. But maybe my standards are too high...not sure. hmmm

I still want a franchise QB all the way....look at the Chiefs with the DT they took a few years ago in Dorsey. Where is he?? The Chiefs suck!! Yes the Bears stink with Cutler, but that is a special case scenario. Look at the past few Super Bowl winners, all franchise QBs if I recall.

Maybe would make a great Buffalo Jill, he shows a knack for cheerleading.
