Let me explain how the NFL works - you gain talent through the draft, Free agency and young players gaining experience and physical maturity - you lose talent through Free agency, injury, salary cap cuts, and aging some teams have mastered acquiring talent faster than they lose it and they often end up in the playoffs other teams are continuously treading water or even losing ground and are irrelevant by November The Bills have been in the latter group for a long long time 13years without playoff probably going to be 14years after this season and somehow many fans will be furious at a couple players but weirdly in tune with this abusive organization well it has to stop and Bills fans who are still making excuses for this poorly produced product have to stop- Russ Brandon needs to be fired and I wish you could fire the owner, I say this not because of the record but because of the O-line a glaring trouble spot which went unfixed and that means either people can't judge talent at all or some cheap bastard said !@#$ it good enough - whichever we deserve better.

If there one thing Doug has taught us it's that O-line continuity is unimportant LOL Bring back mike Jasper snatch him off the Carolina practice squad - he might be as bad as Brown but at least he's interesting

So does Byrd play on sunday or not?
....lybob replied to billsgpr88's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well this all has to be a figment of our imagination because I distinctly remember all the experts saying that Byrd had zero leverage. -
Jared Cook (5year 35 mil), Martellus Bennett (4year 20 mil), and Brandon Myers ( 1 year 2.25 mil) were all free agents , I don't remember much fan outcry to get a TE in fact when brought it up the responses I remember were "Chandler is good enough and Marron's offense doesn't depend heavily on TEs"- the weird thing is that the Bills will usually give the Fans what they want if they ask loud enough and long enough (new QB, bigger tougher lines, speed at LB or WR) but generally speaking it seems most Bills fans are very very careful of spending the Bills money.

really? the "Elections have consequences. My personal tax rate is up 30% thismorning, so the first thing I did today was tell my housekeeper and gardener that they will either also agree to work for 30% less or they will not have jobs with me anymore. The gardener is staying on, the housekeeper argued and was dismissed from service." guy is giving out judgement on how to treat employees?

Goodwin and Brooks to miss time after Surgery.

Marcus Cromartie off the Chargers practice squad -
I'd compare him to two QBs one very successful and one unsuccessful - Jason Campbell and Ben Roethlisberger, hopefully he plays more like Big Ben without all the off-field rapist stuff. the other comparison would be a smarter but slightly less athletic Cam Newton

Got to love Marrone's optimism
....lybob replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
well first of all it's a $7.8M knee ($46.8 mil over 6 years per rotoworld) and as far as I know he's played most of the preseason and will play the first regular season game. -
sure it's just propaganda but what if they could prove that it was the rebels that launched the chemical attacks with help from Saudi Arabia and Qatar - does that mean that I'd be OK for the Russians and Chinese to launch strikes against Saudi Arabia and Qatar? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Iqns5xeoYk

The Bills as of today are $24,441,342.00 under the cap second only to Cleveland - They let Levitre and Rinehart walk, a loss of both talent and continuity that is going to hurt us now all the way through to the 2014 draft when they draft for OL need instead of BPA. -

really? spoken like a man who doesn't care if his 1st round QB gets battered or his big play RB averages 3.3 yards a carry. -
Legursky injury not as bad as originally thought
....lybob replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Never understood this strategy- the guy is not a difference maker like Gilmore and he's gonna take up a roster spot , what ! there are no other mediocre but able bodied OG around - stupid move I've seen the Bills do many times before, guy doesn't practice for six weeks and if he has to play before week 12 he sucks because he's a mediocre guy who's playing at 80%- really just horrible. -
with the 3 open spots who are picking up
....lybob replied to PNW_Bills_Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd take a look at Marcus Cromartie CB, Danny Watkins and Chilo Rachal OGs , and Austin Lane DE -
I'd try Duke Williams - he is suppose to be able to play CB and he is a little faster than Aaron Williams

Conerbacks that the Bills should go after
....lybob replied to Floridabillsfan1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not a CB but Senio Kelemete might be some one I'd take a look at as a LG -
I wouldn't expect it but Charles Tillman is 32 has a 8mil salary and last time I looked the Bears were only 1.8mil under the cap - so chances are slim but that's the kinda player the Bills could use "salary cap casualties" guys who can still play at a good level but not good enough to justify their cap number.

It's the curse of "cap jail hell" or more appropriately the curse of "avoiding cap jail hell" only old timers will remember how the Bills management was adamant that they would avoid the up and down nature of paying top players and then having to tear down and rebuild the team when the cap became too constraining - well the Bills management has done it, they have avoided the up and down settling in the very stable 6-10 to 8-8 range.

Actually what our Military wants is AI strong enough so they can set mission parameters and then let the drone go- it might takes 10 years to get there or 30 years but if there is a roadblock it will probably be on the political/legal side not the technological side The other scenario I've seen is a maned plane controlling a swarm of drones - some propose using laser light to communicate with the drones to limit hacking On drone flying speed- the Avenger has a top speed of 460 mph, the X-47b has a top speed of around 700mph and the proposed X-47c will be supersonic The F35 has lots of bugs and cost overruns but that characterizes every military aircraft program that I can remember - the complaint that the F35 can do a lot of missions but none of them particularly well might be more relevant but really the U.S. hasn't fought a first world power since WW2 so the fact that the F35 probably can't win a fight with a F16 , F22 and maybe some of the latest Migs doesn't seem to matter much as the will likely be used against third world countries
