Fred Jackson's last game at the Ralph?
....lybob replied to oman128's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't get why some Bills fans are so in love with cutting players - you don't get better by cutting players you get better by finding more talented players then letting the less talented go - as soon as you find a better option then you let Fred go until that time go with Fred. -
What are the four weakest starting players?

Right now this is what I consider a fairly idea off-season, keeping things somewhat realistic (no Jimmy Graham etc) free agency Paul Soliai DT Matt Slauson OG Austin Howard OT Draft 1.Khalil Mack LB 2.Kelvin Benjamin WR 3.C.J. Fiedorowicz TE 4.Donte Moncrief WR 5.Andrew Jackson LB 6.Marcel Jensen TE 7. Tim Flanders RB -
I like it and mine is similar first my free agency is Paul Soliai DT -while the Bills have a good Dline a top flight run stuffer, short yardage could be a big help Matt Slauson OG- former Jet plays both guard positions an up-grade Austin Howard OT- another Jet big RT very good run blocker Draft Khalil Mack LB- is he the piece that takes our D from good to great? Kelvin Benjamin WR- Reminds me a little bit of Vincent Jackson C.J. Fiedorowicz TE- at one time I thought one of the top three TEs might slip to us in the 2nd but with Gronks injury and us winning in Jacksonville I doubt it, Fiedorowicz while maybe not the gronk-graham weapon we'd like is like the best parts of Lee Smith and Chandler together Donte Moncrief WR- a thick WR with some RAC reminds me a little of Eric Mould, though he'd be rated higher but he had a slightly down year but I wouldn't be surprised if he moved up again after the combine Andrew Jackson LB- a thumper Marcel Jensen TE- Tim Flanders RB-

This is the most accurate, you win by acquiring and creating more talent (draft, free agency, player development, schemes that best use player strengths and hide player weaknesses) then you lose/destroy (free agency, injury/age, character issues, schemes unsuited for players, loss of motivation).

If we win these next three games...

I picked the Bills to go 4-12 this year so any wins hurts my record of picking Bills records - last year was a complete disaster as I picked the Bills to go 10-6 (that M.Williams,Dareus, K. Williams, Anderson Dline never really panned out the way I thought I would) but before that I was dead on 6 times and within one 6 times . -
Tom Donahoe- was he really that bad???!

Passed on Vincent Jackson and took Roscoe Parrish -
Some people would be charged with shoplifting, stealing prescription drugs, underage drinking, driving while intoxicated, speeding and reckless endangerment, involuntary manslaughter - I don't know what the Texas penalties are for those crimes but it seems to me I remember a sixteen year old girl getting 18 month juvenile detention for stealing a seven dollar lipstick and some poor slob doing life because over a five year period he stole sunglasses, shoe laces and a pack of gum.

add and replace a pro-bowl LG with a train wreck- because nothing helps a rookie QB like pressure right up the middle and !@#$ing your running game. -
Cap savings on cutting SJ is $25,000 in 2014 - which is about the price of a roll of tape in the NFL

I'm still of the opinion they wanted T.Y. Hilton and messed up the name -
gatorman you don't understand - if the government says hey we think your technology is a breakthrough what do you need to make it happen - that's the government picking winners and losers - if a corporation goes to the government and says give us XY and Z or we will move our operations to China - that's just market forces ...............TYTT hates a proactive government looking to improve the common good but he loves government that can be easily bullied and extorted by corporations.

no he just fired his housekeeper because she argued when he told her that he was cutting her pay 30% because "elections have consequences" his gardener meekly accepted probably because he was banging TYTT's wife

There once was a successful rancher who died and left everything to his devoted wife. She was determined to keep the ranch and make a go of it, but she knew very little about ranching, so she decided to place an ad in the newspaper for a ranch hand. Someone called Boyst applied for the job and was hired. He turned out to be fantastic worker, worked long hard hours every day and knew a lot about ranching. For weeks the two of them worked, and the ranch was doing really well. Then one day the rancher's wife said to the hired hand, "You have done a really good job and the ranch looks great, you should go into town and kick up your heels." The hired hand agreed readily, and Saturday night went to town. However, one o'clock came and he didn't return. Two o'clock and no hired hand, two-thirty, in came the hired hand. The rancher's wife was sitting by the fireplace and quietly called him over to her. "Unbutton my blouse and take it off," she said. Trembling, he did as she asked. "Now take off my boots." He did so, slowly. "Now take off my socks." He did. "Now take off my skirt." He did. "Now take off my bra." Again with trembling hands he did as she asked. "Now," she said, "Take off my panties." He slowly pulled them down. Then she looked at him and said, "Don't you ever wear my clothes to town again!"

OK I finally get what going on here, someone is creating characters for sketch comedy or sitcoms , you should of stopped at DCTom and OC this TYTT character just puts it over the top and makes it obvious, I mean how many personality deficient, delusional egomaniacs could really end up in one place - it's like being in a room with Milburn Drysdale , Mr Burns, Newman,Louie De Palma and Dwight Schrute, come man that's overkill - just as a critique I think you are suppose to add a shred of humanity to any reoccurring character something you haven't done yet with your characters.

When it comes to genocides and atrocities I'm always surprised the Brits don't get more love.

My humble FA list 1. Austin Howard OT -weaken the Jets and upgrade our RT 2. Danario Alexander WR - a gamble on a huge talented WR who's been injured a lot 3. Joique Bell RB- while not as good as Fred he shows similar toughness and versatility no break the bank moves, one targeted player, one gamble and one depth move Draft 1st Barr or Mack - Cornelius Bennett effect? making a good defense great 2nd Austin Seferian-Jenkins- Bills will probably have to move up a little bit to get him - at the very least a red zone weapon and a better blocker than Chandler at best we get our own Gronk like weapon
-
I predicted this team to finish 4 and 12 (and that was before injuries at QB, CB, RB and WR, if I had known I'd have them at 2-14) so they may beat my expectations - I not sure what about a rookie QB and head coach made Bills fans think playoffs- but the good news is the Bills are close, 1. Doug and EJ have to get a little better they're smart guys so this shouldn't be a problem 2. for the love of god don't be creating any new holes Whaley get Byrd signed 3. the draft looks like it could fall well for the Bills, Mack in the 1st round and one of the top 3 TE's could still be there in the 2nd round , 4. pray for health-

The thing with the Oline is you don't need an all-pro at every position but a weak-link like Collin Brown will be attacked unmercifully and lose you games - so did the Bills absolutely need Levitre? no! but you can't be replacing him with a weak-sister either. The Bills have quality players at the two most important Oline positions LT and C they just need solid players at the other three. As for the draft I think the Bills should still be in a BPA mode with extra consideration given to TE and LB if things are relatively equal.

Hey a Gene Frenkle sighting, so rare of late, but don't call out Cheffy 1. he's been insulting OC which is always amusing and 2. Buffalo doesn't get shaken until it's buildings all fall down

Judging from your last couple posts this is God's honest truth.
