Thanks for this. I think that we have all we need to run the ball effectively as far as talent and scheme are concerned. It doesn't make us a running team but a team that can run as part of a balanced attack. The poster concludes that we have not run the ball enough, something that many other posters have said, especially in game day threads as drive after drive gets shut down.

I suspect that both Diggs and Gabe were told that they would not be having as many targets as Brady figures out what all else he has to deal with. We will be seeing more of Diggs later imo.

No question WR (#2) should be at the top of Beane's shopping list. I would like to go whole hogg. Pursue Tee Higgins if as expected he's available in FA. Then take advantage of next years strong draft at the position. I'd like Coleman. Don't see much diff between him and Odunze. As for Gabe and yesterday's game, looked to me that Brady sat down with both Gabe and Diggs during the week to let them know that the O would be looking to target the TEs and slot receivers more so that Brady can start figuring out how better to gameplan going forward and see just what these Dorsey underused resources can contribute to a coherent and diversified offence. So I think both guys were shut down yesterday but as Brady develops his thinking we will see them more again in their usual roles, esp. Diggs.

The Douglas trade was excellent. Experienced, starting calibre CB for some 40 odd draft spots. Looks to me to be excellent when the play is in front of him or lateral. He is a playmaker with very good anticipation and field awareness. As a playmaker he has a tendency to bite on double moves and allow separation (G.Wilson had him beat over the top yesterday a couple of times but Wilson was a chicken on the run for his life). If he had a bit more foot speed to recover he'd prolly be legit #1 corner and a Pro Bowler. He's a welcome addition.

If he's the guy he was before injury he can definitely be a contributor in several facets of the game. He can fill in as a ko returner but I like him in the backfield. The Bills now actually have all they need at the RB position.

If that's true I think it represents a change. When he first came into the league and indeed the determination he showed in pursuing his career before he became a pro, showed great passion for the game. And he seemed to enjoy playing, seemed to be having fun. Now he sulks on the bench by himself. His head is not right.

What I've seen as estimates 20-24 per Of course that may just be the line coming from his camp. They say he needs to be paid like a top end #1 receiver.

Its early days so probably not especially relevant to where we are today but Cincinnati hasn't the cap to extend or even franchise Tee Higgins. He would upgrade the entire receiving corps. We would have 2 # 1 receivers. He will likely cost around 20 bucks a year.
