ESPN is cut throat culture.
Most large U.S. corporations are - and have been.
Ed Werder is 64-years-old and has been making a lot of money for decades.
He’ll be okay.

McDermott has to rely on rookies this year, More so than in the past.
His philosophy with regard to rookies has been one of his most glaring flaws.
Hoping he can let his arrogance stop getting in the way.

I don’t know if it’s CTE or mental illness, but AB’s head is not right.
His story is sad, more than anything else, to me.

What was he at wide open post routes in the middle of the end zone though lol. Probably higher than that
Just like any professional QB. -

Or in the case if @Gugny where he sits when he pees.
I do if I get up to pee in the middle of the night. No need to turn the light on.

No one seems to pay attention to the scouting staff but they're one of the most important parts of the team's front office. The Bills' web site mentions the moves on the staff and who's been added, but not who's been dropped.
I think it would be very interesting to see which scouts found, and contributed to the Bills drafting or signing as UFAs, which players. Are the ones that Beane listened to, the ones he kept on board?
This might be a little too hard for reporters to uncover, but it would be a whole lot better than endless articles about the WR situation or where the team will hold training camp (of COURSE it's back in Rochester).
You mad, bro? -

CPOY may be achievable if he hit double digit sacks.
Pffft. He didn’t even die on the field last year. -

The lower bowl is awful IMO.
Fairly flat, the curve of the field disorients people in row 10 and less, and everyone stands the entire game.
Personally, I find the lower bowl a miserable experience.
Now that you say that, I’ve never once sat in the lower bowl.
Every game I’ve attended, I’ve sat in the 300s with the exception of one game for which I sat in club seats/200s.

I know I’m an outlier, but I don’t think there’s a bad seat in the house as long as you can see the Jumbotron.
The last game I went to, I could count on both of my hands and John From Riverside’s complete foot, how many people were further from the field than I was. @LeviF can corroborate.
Still had a blast and didn’t miss a thing.

Agreed on the runner on second. badol had a great line, he calls it the Manfred Man.
I was in the not worried about Diaz camp before last night, but this is starting to look like history repeating. The difference this time around is we've seen him be dominant.
What concerns me (it has for years, but it seems to be even worse now) is how a single against the Mets is just an eventual double.
The inability of this team to throw out runners/hold them in first is mind-boggling.
Lindor showed his frustrations on the field a couple weeks ago, which did not bother me.
When he proceeded to basically tell the pitcher (I forgot who was on the mound) when to pitch the ball, that did bother me.
Lastly (for now), I LOVE Ottavino, but he needs some sort of reset. They’re going to him too much, which just underscores how bad this pitching staff really is right now.

Last night was great, tonight was brutal. Definitely concerned about Diaz.
Have a great vacation!
As much as I hate the blown save, I hate the little league “runner on second” rule about A BILLION times more.
It’s pathetic.
And I’m normally not one to blame umps, but they were horrible tonight.
Not worried about Diaz.
Yet.

Pretty deflating watching the Mets getting no-hit two outs into the 9th on Saturday. But the decision by the Braves to go with their closer up 4 just to preserve the no-hitter bit them on Sunday when they couldn't hold a 1 run lead.
Loved the way the game ended. Small ball. Bunt for a base hit. Another bunt to move the runner over. And a bomb to win the game.
Great baseball. Great win.
My expectations are still low for the season, but I love watching wins like tonight !

Allen played GREAT in 2 out of the 3 playoff losses we've had to KC. McD and his D have been horrific in all 3. Josh isn't the one holding us back.
How’d he do in that Cinci playoff game? Can you imagine Pat Mahomes mailing it in like that?

Nope.
I haven’t heard Ed Werder’s name in years.
They’re keeping people who viewers watch and listen to.
Age discrimination is very real. Believe me … as you know? I was searching for a job at 52 and got no chance at more than a handful that I was very qualified for.
But being laid off at 64 isn’t the same.
His career ran its course.
It’s an entertainment channel/forum and they’re not looking to lure boomers in.
