  1. I have been a defender of Hacket up to this point. No longer. This has been pathetic play calling. Bryce Brown needs to be in on downs 1 and 2 and Dixon on third. So what does genius Hacket do? Just the opposite. And oh by the way, they can't cover our receivers, so how how about throwing a few passes on first and second down? Hacket has got to go.
  2. NIgel Bradham needs to come off the field. He is killing them. Three stupid penalties and at least two times he took the wrong angle to the ball carrier and completely whiffed on a tackle leading to a big gain for the Jets. Sit his ass down.
  3. C.J. has loads of talent, but he is definitely an under achiever and injury prone. When was the last time he had a season where he did not miss time with one injury or another? I think he is a good third down back and pass reciever, but as an every down back, he just doesn't cut the mustard. He needs to be part of a tandem, like the one he has been in with Fred. They just need to use Fred more on the between the tackles plays and C.J. on screens, pitches and sweeps. If used that way, he can be productive, but if he leaves, it's no big deal IMO. He would be replaced fairly easily.
  4. I think it all comes down to protecting the football. We have been terrible at that the past two weeks. If we gift wrap opportunities like we have the past two weeks, we could be in big trouble. Protect the football and we win easily. IMO it's as simple as that. We are the better team, talent wise, but that can be negated by turnovers as we saw last week.
  5. Who says it was unintentional? I just thought your post was a bit preachy, that's all. It was a joke bro. All the best.
  6. Oh I see the math. 2+2=Douchebag. Thanks.
  7. Because E.J. has regressed and he was absolutely horrible the last three games that he played. He needed to sit down for the Bills to have any chance of winning this year. We all want to see better, but without the switch, I am convinced we would be 2-5 right now instead of 4-3. It is just my opinion based on watching E.J. play this year and watching Orton play. Yes we have turned the ball over too much and taken more sacks, but I believe that it is Orton's veteran presence that enabled those two wins. I absolutely do not believe we win against either Detroit or Minnesota with E.J. at QB. This.
  8. I have no idea what your response means. What I said was that turnovers are bad and that we need to eliminate them. Isn't that the same thing that you said? The rest of what you said about the offense being 100% reliant on Orton throwing for 300 yards is also related to turnovers. The reason that they threw the ball so much in those games is because they turned the ball over and fell behind. Eliminate the turnovers and you probably do not fall behind and hence you can have a more balanced attack offensively. My point is that the Bills need to cut down on the turnovers in order to have a better chance of winning games. I don't think that can be disputed, it's a pretty basic tenet of playing good football.
  9. Do you really believe that E.J. at this point is capable of leading either of those two fourth quarter drives that led to those two wins? If so, then you must not have been watching him in weeks 3 and 4 because he was absolutely abysmal. Is Orton perfect? Absolutely not, but if you believe that the Bills win against either Detroit or Minnesota with Manuel at QB, then you are delusional. It's Orton's experience and calm demeanor, not to mention the throws that he has made that enable those two wins. Yes he has his flaws, but he is absolutely 100% head and shoulders a better option than E.J. Manuel at this point.
  10. Agree about the turnovers from Orton. Way too many and it is definitely hurting us. Without those, yesterday would not have been close and we may have had a shot against NE. Unfortunately though, he is not the only one that is turning the ball over. Too many fumbles by WR's and C.J. fumbled against NE as well. If this team can eliminate the turnovers, then the offense will look much better. I'll take the W's, and I do agree that Orton is a better option than E.J. right now, but if we are to stand a chance to make the playoffs, we have got to stop turning the ball over.
  11. I think we'll be okay while FJ heals. I like the way Dixon plows ahead and am anxious to see what Brown can do. Suspect Summers gets some more touches as well. Mix those guys in and use the passing attack against the Jets and we should be okay. Really hoping we can pull this off and go into the bye week at 5-3.
  12. Of the above listed drafted players only Lache Seastrunk out of Baylor is currently on a practice squad. He is currently on Tennessee's PS. Found this analysis online "The Washington Redskins scored a tremendous sixth-round steal in running back Lache Seastrunk, who will make a great understudy for Alfred Morris. This late into the draft, teams are purchasing lottery tickets in hopes of hitting the jackpot. While Washington didn't win the Mega Millions with the Baylor running back, it scored a tremendous value with Seastrunk at pick No. 186. Seastrunk's quick break offers the perfect complement to Morris' power running. At 201 pounds, he also possesses enough strength to fight through contact, but he offers more breakaway speed than his running mate. As a runner, Seastrunk looks like the complete package and an above-average No. 2 back. So why was he sitting there in Round 6? After failing to catch a single pass last season, he needs to develop that skill, especially since Morris suffers from that same weak spot. While that deficiency torpedoed him into sixth round, very few prospects enter the league as finished products. The rest of the RB's on practice squads are UDFA's. Not saying they aren't worth a shot, but just couldn't find out much about them.
  13. I know it was ugly, but in past years, there is no way we come back and win this game at the end. It was a clutch drive and they fought hard despite playing poorly for most of the day. I'm happy with the win, but hoping they can fix some things before next week. Rex Ryan will have had 10 days to prepare for us and you know we will be facing a good defensive game plan. Got to eliminate the turnovers. If we do that, I like our chances, if not, then we go into the bye week at 4-4.
  14. Nice list of drafted RB's but how many are on PS's right now?
  15. What? Do you really think the Bills win either the Lions game or the game today with EJ at QB? Orton has his limitations like most QB's but he is head and shoulders better than EJ and he was absolutely clutch today.
  16. They don't need him. i'd take my chances with Brown and Dixon.
  17. I have not been one to criticize the coaches to this point, but the past two weeks have been pathetic. Poor play calling, undisciplined play. They look like amateurs not professional football players.
  18. Nice run by Spiller, but once again he has killed the momentum by laying on the ground because he was tackled. Damn he is so soft.
  19. Wow, that was short lived. Behind again already. I was looking for the D to step up and get a stop. No such luck.
  20. Finally a break and a TD. Now let's get this thing turned around. It was beginning to look like deja vu all over again, lol.
  21. That 3rd and 1 is the reason Dixon is on this team. To not use him in that situation is absolutely idiotic.
  22. Every week all I can say is f..ck, f..ck, f..ck. I have no other words when watching this team.
  23. C.J. off tackle for a 2 or 3 yard gain, unless he bounces outside, then it's a 2 or 3 yard loss.
  24. Have you watched the last two games? If you can't see that Orton is making throws that E.J. has not or never could make, then you were watching two different games than the ones I watched. Is he perfect? Absolutely not, but if you find that guy let me know, cuz I would like to watch him play too. Is he better than E.J. ? Absolutely 100% unequivocally yes. That we are even discussing this makes me wonder if Bills fans are even watching the games.
