  1. It was a dirty hit. One of the dirtier I've seen recently. I've seen the replay a bunch of times and Lawrence starts his slide way before Al-Shaair commits. Al-Shaair could absolutely have missed him. I would suspend Al-Shaair for 2-4 games.
  2. So a Bills fan passed them on the stairs and it caused their daughter to fall down because it was slippery? Sounds like the most likely thing that actually happened piecing all this info together, and also doesn't seem that bad or like a big deal.
  3. Flagging players for celebrations that look vaguely like they're shooting something is really stupid and the league needs to eff off with it.
  4. I don't know about season ending but I'd definitely suspend Al-Shaair in the 2-4 game range.
  5. Yeah Al-Shaair should be suspended for that one
  6. Negating the play was blown dead/play wasn't blown dead debate for a second. Where was the false start or the illegal shift? I have not seen any replays showing either. I only see a snap when the QB wasn't expecting it - which is not a penalty.
  7. Refs botched this one bad. There was no illegal shift - show me who moves for the Raiders. Second - they blew the play dead before the recovery.
  8. What was the illegal shift? No one on Oakland moved.
  9. On replay I don't see any illegal shift or false start. Just a bad early snap
  10. KC OL looks NY Giants level bad today
  11. Yeah, I saw that same post the previous poster did on X. Purdy is playing
  12. Too bad for the Bears they're still stuck with Caleb Williams. I said when the Giants cut Daniel Jones that I'd take Daniel Jones over Caleb Williams any day of the week and I stand by that.
  13. I wonder how much we'll strategically rest players to keep them healthy down the last stretch of the season - or really go all out like we're fighting for a playoff spot trying to get the first seed and the bye.
  14. I'm just not that convinced by the Chargers, on either side of the ball. They're 7-4 but watching they just don't feel like a much better than average team to me. Baltimore is good. I don't see any way we can hold them to much under 200 yards rushing. But I think we have an advantage in pass offense and pass defense vs Baltimore, and they are beatable.
  15. According to the odds website I'm looking at, a Chargers win helps our odds of getting the top seed, which is what I care about most. Baltimore is probably the team I'd least like to see in the playoffs though. I have zero confidence we can stop their offense. I'd love a bye but I'd also love to avoid a Wild Card weekend match-up against Baltimore.
  16. We have a good roster. Credit to Brandon Beane. Okay, the Dawson Knox and Tyler Bass contracts were pretty tough. But we've consistently put decent rosters around Josh.
  17. I think Daniel Jones gets a look as a possible starter from somewhere like Tennessee or Vegas. He's not great but I think he'd be an upgrade at starting QB for Vegas, Tennessee, Carolina, New England, Chicago (not gonna happen), and the Jets. He never got much of a shot behind an OL that wasn't bottom of the league at pass protection. And yeah wtf is with the Giants putting him at practice team safety, that's embarrassing for the Giants
  18. Would love a bye in the first round of the playoffs. That's something we've never had in the Josh era I don't think.
  19. No ill will against Gabe, I like him and I hope he recovers fully. But holy goodness I can't believe those jokers in Jacksonville gave him 13 million a year.
  20. A healthy Matt Milano should start over Dorian Williams. I have faith this is something he can come back fully from, but you always have to see.
  21. Your job as a fan is to give your team home field advantage no matter who is visiting. I think we do that.
  22. Watched a little bit of Gruden/Barstool yesterday. I like the guy. He's got an energetic and engaging personality, knows an insane amount football, and is good at communicating what he knows to morons like me.
  23. Atrocious officiating last weekend. This bad call doesn't even stick in my mind as much as the back to back phantom holding calls.
