This UConn OT looks like a BPA pick. Seems to be a bit higher on big boards I'm looking at then where we got him. And I have no problem with that.

Safety, 1 tech DL, WR, maybe RB where I'd go today.

I Like What Beane has done so far! (First 3 Picks)
paulmm3 replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I enjoy the insight in Beane's press conferences every night but he needs to pull a Belichick and stfu a bit. He's spending 30 minutes telegraphing exactly how Buffalo sees these guys and plans to use them, so much so that I'd be able to telegraph a little bit if I were an opponent based on the details he's giving -
Shedur Sanders Make To Round 5? (Poll) - UPDATED x 3

Shedeur if Deion didn't exist I think goes 2nd-4th round. Coaches and GMs are probably correctly seeing Deion as a massive headache though and avoiding the whole package. -
I saw Ezeiruaku mocked to us a couple times this morning and looked him up and saw a 247lb DE and I was scared because the last DE I saw come out in the 240s to the Bills was Aaron Maybin. Love the Max Hairston pick, hope the board falls right for us to get some help at DL and DE Edit: I would also be up to add a safety

Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky

Greg Cosell came on the 45min of post draft coverage I watched and said one team he spoke with earlier today said Hairston had better tape at CB than Travis Hunter -

Love this pick for the team -
Offense is not the problem. It's just not. I don't want to hear about an offensive player for the Bills until round 4 at the earliest.

Play Call of Duty until pick 25 with Bills fan friends, then switch over to the draft

Bills Related Draft News & Discussion
paulmm3 replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm all defense all draft. Other than the playoff game against the Bengals a few years ago where all 3 phases didn't show up, defense has consistently been the problem late in the season and in the playoffs and offense has not. We have multiple glaring holes on defense. I'd be fine with a WR round 4 or later if it seems like they'd play, but we really need to add value on defense for team success. Of course, none of it matters because the league is rigged (the KC-Houston game last playoffs added to all the other questionable games convinced me) -
Greg Rousseau Extended (4 years / 80M / 54M Guaranteed)
paulmm3 replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like the Rousseau deal more than the Bernard deal but it doesn't make me feel great the amount of money we're handing out to re-sign members of one of the worst defenses in the league last year. -

This is one of the worst anthems I've ever heard. The notes aren't even right. You don't get to change the notes. -
Matthew Smiley out as Special Teams coach
paulmm3 replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's apparently a nice guy but it's a performance business and our special teams has been horrible. I absolutely support changing special teams coordinators here -
Given that I think the league is rigged, no, I'm not betting on outcomes I believe are manipulated.

Legitimate Concern With Officiating This Weekend?
paulmm3 replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall
The NFL is a "sports entertainment league" and Taylor Swift is pretty entertaining for a lot of people. Chiefs Texans set a ratings record on Saturday and it sure as heck wasn't because of the Texans. -
I don't think we'll see Rapp play again this year. Probably a labral tear or other hip capsule injury. The force on the hit just wasn't that crazy to where it seems like it could be a contusion. Relatively minimal force injury plus then having to be carted off usually indicates soft tissue tear and is not a great sign.

1/19/25 Division Round Playoff Post Game Thread Bills vs. Ravens

We don't keep winning that way though. It keeps being the thing that loses us close games. -
1/19/25 Division Round Playoff Post Game Thread Bills vs. Ravens
paulmm3 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
The rush 3 soft zone defense we play to not give up "the big play" in crunch time has got to freaking go. It reliably allows teams to march down the field in less than a minute. -
1/18 Texans @ Chiefs divisional playoff thread
paulmm3 replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
NFL does seem to be faced with somewhat of a credibility crisis after this one. For me the calls that weren't made were as bad as the ones that were. All of the top comments I see on various social media and news websites are some variation of "the league is rigged". -
1/18 Texans @ Chiefs divisional playoff thread

That's one of the most biased halves of football officiating I have seen in 30 years. It's embarrassing for the league. -

It's over for Houston. Refs will not let them win.
