  1. That hail mary from Rodgers at the end of the game was farther than any QB in the league has thrown a live ball in at least 8 years. Pretty wild
  2. Not PI a couple plays ago. Refs just gave the Bengals 3
  3. Great ball from Rodgers, he doesn't deserve to be credited with a pick there.
  4. I think both Edmunds and Bernard are below average for their position. Edmunds has among the worst football IQ I've seen. Bernard is so physically slight he struggles to make an impact except the couple times a game he manages to get to the ball before a blocker gets to him. I'd have extended neither, found a replacement through the draft/FA, and spent the money possibly saved here on another position (or good LB free agent).
  5. I worry getting paid sapped some of their fire to train hard in the offseason.
  6. Agree it's on the coaches to find a better option than Tre White at CB. I don't see how anyone could expect him to be even competitive this year after the Rams - who had as bad a defense last year as we did - healthy scratched him last year then traded him for a 7th round pick swap. I don't fault him for continuing to play as long as he's given a job and I don't fault him for the age and injury related decline.
  7. I would like to see the Bills shift away from their strategy of primarily selecting pre-draft visitors in the draft. I think it artificially limits the pool of talent they are selecting from which leads to selections in the draft that are not the most talented player available. I also think Beane and company get too enamored with specific players and do too much trading of draft picks. You guys aren't that much smarter than all the other talent evaluators in the league and your specific players don't turn out to be better. Just stay put and take the highest consensus ranked guy at the position you need help at like a normal team.
  8. One thing I have noticed is literally no one on our defense is capable of getting off a 1v1 run block from an offensive player to make a play except sometimes Matt Milano.
  9. All three of our defensive starters who signed big contracts last offseason suck now. That is a major problem.
  10. We can squabble with each other over many things but the one thing I have seen 100% universal agreement from Bills fans on is that Tre White and Taylor Rapp need to see as few snaps for the rest of the season as earthly possible. There's got to be a better option.
  11. While Shawn Hochuli actually hates the Bills and actively tries to make us lose, this officiating crew feels more of the incompetent variety than the malicious variety.
  12. Lots of blame to go around but we had to re-sign Benford and no one could predict he would be so bad this year. That's just bad luck.
  13. Yeah. Good time to remind myself that the NFL is actually, legitimately rigged. https://www.utep.edu/newsfeed/2025/october/utep-study-reveals-how-financial-pressure-shapes-nfl-officiating.html
  14. Ball doesn't touch the ground on multiple replays. What could the refs be seeing there?
  15. I still think we're going to win this despite our defense
  16. Babich is bad and should lose his job but the players also individually are getting beaten like rented mules 1v1
  17. Our linebackers are absolutely horrible
  18. None of our linebackers can get off 1v1 blocks at any point ever. The Terrel Bernard extension was a mistake.
  19. Replay the effing crucial penalty you atrocious production team
  20. I'm not too worried about last week's game on account of the Shawn Hochuli factor. I think it sucked the wind out of our sails beyond just the calls that were made. We need a game against the Patriots without an official who has a massive statistically provable bias against the Bills to really know how we match up.
  21. Little statistical analysis here. Since Shawn Hochuli came into the league the Bills are 1-5 in regular season plus posteason games officiated by Hochuli. The Bills are 88-44 over this time span in all regular season plus postseason games (so 87-39 if you exclude Hochuli games). We can set up a 2x2 contingency table W L Total With Hochuli 1 5 6 Without Hochuli 87 39 126 Total 88 44 132 The null hypothesis for this analysis is that there is no difference between Shawn Hochuli and other crews - that is all crews call Bills games the same and Bills are equally likely to win no matter who the referee is. Running Fisher's exact test on this data gives a p value of 0.0157. This means there is a 1.57% chance that the Bills could randomly be 1-5 with Hochuli and 87-39 with all other officials. Meaning there's a 98.4% chance Shawn Hochuli is biased against the Bills to a statistically significant degree. Meaning Shawn Hochuli is biased against the Bills.
  22. Shawn Hochuli hates the Bills and officiates as such. It is what it is.
  23. Shawn Hochuli hates the Buffalo Bills and officiates like he hates the Buffalo Bills every time he works a Bills game.
  24. Nothing holding call. NFL has a problem with Hochuli and Bills games.
