I feel like it's the equivalent of what the Vegas knights do. His entire contract is guaranteed so they are stuffing him on IR to open up a roster spot. Hamlin that is. Unless NFL contracts work differently than NHL but he got all his money at signing so he's not making any more unless it would have been incentive based.

Good to know, and I believe they have talked about using it for soccer in the past so likely the same case. -

I'd like to know how far the grass goes over the sidelines. Going from grass to turf right on the edge seems like it would be dangerous so I'd imagine it going to carry over a few feet at least. -
Hawes, yes. Knox, no. Paying close to $10m a year to have a blocking tight end that occasionally catches passes is basically what hawes has been doing for 900k. Knox has 6 receptions. Hawes has 4.

I know, I saw the same thing and wondered if they stopped using him as much also after he came off the field to evaluate and then limited him. I would rather have him in the post season healthy than in week 5 (well, I'd prefer him healthy for all of it).

24/37 routes ran. 64% of his snaps were ran routes. So yes, he is running routes but it's still a little closer to 50/50 than I would like. I'm using chatgpt but this is what they returned on "routes ran in 2025"

Beans and Sean - Should we miss the SB again

Look at the sabres and you will realize Terry doesn't care about winning. He's still making money off of that team and owning an nfl team is basically just having a money printing machine in your closet so there is no incentive for him to change anything since nothing has changed with the sabres. -
I'd rather be mad about Kincaid's 54% snap count and 6 targets when even Kelce's lowest snap count is in the mid 70s. Kincaid was eating and they decided to stop using him for some reason. Wasn't listed on the injury report yesterday or today from McD so basically they just decided that they needed to play knox instead because "everybody eats"

I said the same thing in the Spector thread. Douglas came in with no knowledge and was just told to ball out, he did. A year later after learning the playbook he looked completely washed. Blame age if you want but taking a player and making them play in "your system" vs "utilizing their strengths" is a bad choice.
-
To me, it reminds me the quick decline of Douglas. He got here and was told to just do whatever and he did well. Then a year into the system his play completely dropped off because he was playing within the system and not his strengths. Why we are forcing players into playing a certain way instead of playing to their strengths is beyond me. Two down, one to go. Better example would be, if it were your business and you needed a replacement, and you could hire a former employee that knows how your business runs (but his work was subpar when asked to step up and would routinely call in) vs someone with no clue, what would you do?

It's been an hour since this news broke. is he on IR yet?

I said in the "around the league" thread, if you can bet money on it, someone is on the take. Everyone always says, it's too easy to find out if someone is shaving points or calling the game unfair or x, y and z. But for some reason, it seems to happen a lot.

Ridiculous stat that sums up the secondary play

Well, McD said it himself, the defense is meant to dare teams to pass the ball so they are taking advantage of it. What a guy to help out the other teams offense! -
No More Whiteouts again ever in Buffalo Bills history

https://www.nfl.com/news/rivalries-uniforms-revealed-unique-jerseys-afc-east-nfc-west What I'm not sure about is it they can be used as away uniforms also but I'm assuming the bills will want to use them at home to promote sales. -

I wouldn't be surprised if he had a 158.3 rating when targeting White. -
