I agree with you for sure about them carrying the offense. But to play the devil's advocate, look at what Mahomes was still able to do after he lost Tyreek. I know he said it as a joke but it was partially true that he "had to start looking for other receivers as his first read". Yes, having Kelce more than makes up for that but when you look at how the Giants were able to be competitive with less than stellar receiving core, it made it harder for teams to plan against who was "that guys" you have to shut down. It would be interesting to see how it would play out is all I'm saying and would prefer diggs on the field as opposed to off it.

Active coach at least. I would assume it's true also. Not that crazy if you think someone that has been coaching for 6 years though. There are plenty other who have coached for less time that are on that list as well. That doesn't make them bad coaches, just haven't been in the league as long.

Comparing a players contract to a coaches contract is the mind boggling part. That's not "team" money. That's Terry's money.

This was the first thing I was thinking also. What better way to get people to stop making claims about rifts between the players and coaches than extending them. I have no problem with the extension because they have done well enough to deserve it and it doesn't mean that thinks can't change later on.
