  1. This post/quote has filled my heart with so much warmth. I haven't felt this good about the team in 20 years! :D :D :D :D
  2. NO That's what Lee Evans was supposed to be.
  3. After watching the Bills since 1973 and especially over the last few seasons, I believe that Chan Gailey has done a remarkable job as the Head Coach. Chan has these Bills believing in themselves, plain and simple. In the NFL, all players have talent, some more than others, but the deference is how they play on Sunday. The proof was this Sunday at the Ralph. The following quotes sums it up for me: Gailey, "We Expect To Win!" Juaron, "It's tough to win in the NFL."
  4. If you believe Bruce Smith, he was held every single play.
  5. I did! Posted 10 September 2011 - 06:14 PM 09/11 @ Kansas City Chiefs A non-Weis coached offense sputters, Buffalo's revamped defense stops their running game, and Fitz puts together some good drives with Jackson a workhorse all day. Bills Win 17 - 10 09/18 Oakland Raiders Raiders never get off the plane, Bills Win 24 - 7 09/25 New England Patriots Tough game start to finish, the crowd is frenzied, the Bills are pumped, avoid late game letdown and squeak out a win at home 27 - 24. 10/02 @ Cincinnati Bengals A sleeper game, but the Bills pull it off with a 17 - 3 win 10/9 Philadelphia Eagles Philly is really good, Vick lights it up and the Bills running game can't get on track for the Bills first loss of the season, 28 - 35.
  6. Forget the KC game already?
  7. ROFL My original pick for this game is below: "10/9 Philadelphia Eagles - Philly is really good, Vick lights it up and the Bills running game can't get on track for the Bills first loss of the season, 28 - 35." However, given the mess the Feagles are in right now, it may be a barn burner unless; Buffalo controls the clock by running Jackson and Spiller. Vick will make some plays, but if they can take away the deep (or big) play, and force him into long(er) drives, which will eat clock and increase chances for Feagles to make mistakes, (think turnovers or drive killing penalties) the Bills could win.
  8. Stating the obvious, We beat a bad team on the road in KC. We came from behind to beat a up and coming Raiders team at home. We came from behind to beat a playoff team at home. We lost a lead to a better than thought team on the road in Cinn. We are 3-1 instead of 0-4. All the games so far we have been competitive. I Say Good For Us! Bring on the Eagles!
  9. McKelvin is woefully inconsistent. During the NE game last week he seemed very good. This week, not so much. I don't think it is inexperience since it his 3rd or 4th year, but a lack of mentally preparation for each game. Maybe I am being too nice and should declare the kid just a complete moron with great athletic ability?
  10. J.E.T.S....suck....Suck...SUCK!!!
  11. I will stick with my original prediction: 10/02 @ Cincinnati Bengals - A sleeper game, but the Bills pull it off with a 17 - 3 win.
  12. 10/02 @ Cincinnati Bengals - A sleeper game, but the Bills pull it off with a 17 - 3 win.
  13. Chan Gailey I don't think it is just the southern accent, but to me, Chan Gailey sounds just like Brad Leland from Friday Night Lights. Buddy Garrty
  14. 09/25 New England Patriots - Tough game start to finish, the crowd is frenzied, the Bills are pumped, avoid late game letdown and squeak out a win at home 27 - 24. 10/02 @ Cincinnati Bengals - A sleeper game, but the Bills pull it off with a 17 - 3 win Gotta Believe!
  15. In a previous thread there was a question posed on your worst Bills experience. For me it was during the Greg Williams coaching era when on one forgettable game day, I turned on the game, laid on the coach and watched the entire game without one iota of emotion. I could not tell you who they played, whether they won or lost or anything else about the game other than I watched it instead of raking the leaves. There was nothing to cheer about and nothing to jeer about. I have been hard pressed to find any reasons to get excited about the Bills since then. Note: I have been a Bills fan since OJ's rookie season and seen many ups and downs, but the GW era was excruciating. I have never given up hope for the Bills and always wish them well. Last year's opener for the Bills left me thinking, what was so different with Chan Gailey as coach instead of Williams or Juran? We showed some life after an 0-8 start to the season, but still, I was hard pressed to get excited. After the KC game, I actually found a resurgence of interest. The Bills tore KC a new one and left me with the feeling that this team is different. I actually was looking forward to watching the Bills play the raiders. The whole second half of the raider game Sunday, I could not sit down I was so into the game and dare say excited! Gailey called a great game offensively, the players responded to a disappointing 1st half, and put on a show I will not forget. My excitement in Bills football IS BACK! Go Bills!
  16. That is leadership ON THE FIELD! It tremendously pissed me off, when I heard comments of what a great locker room leader such and such a player is/was during the Dick Juran years. I would scream to myself we don;t need locker room leaders, we need leaders ON THE FIELD. Good for Barnett and good for Nix for bringing Barnett to Buffalo.
  17. Fitz had time to throw the ball, Jackson ran hard, defense made tackles, and we now have a tight end!
  18. ding, sing, ding, we have a winner!
  19. The only thing I had wrong was the score. Did not expect 41 pts!!! "A non-Weis coached offense sputters, Buffalo's revamped defense stops their running game, and Fitz puts together some good drives with Jackson a workhorse all day." One down, 15 to go.
  20. Actually, it is 5 losses. My Bad!
  21. 09/11 @ Kansas City Chiefs A non-Weis coached offense sputters, Buffalo's revamped defense stops their running game, and Fitz puts together some good drives with Jackson a workhorse all day. Bills Win 17 - 10 09/18 Oakland Raiders Raiders never get off the plane, Bills Win 24 - 7 09/25 New England Patriots Tough game start to finish, the crowd is frenzied, the Bills are pumped, avoid late game letdown and squeak out a win at home 27 - 24. 10/02 @ Cincinnati Bengals A sleeper game, but the Bills pull it off with a 17 - 3 win 10/9 Philadelphia Eagles Philly is really good, Vick lights it up and the Bills running game can't get on track for the Bills first loss of the season, 28 - 35. 10/16 @ New York Giants Another tough loss on the road, 10 - 17. 10/23 Bye Record at the break 4 -2. 10/30 Washington Redskins (Tor) Bills overcome the Toronto "home" crowd and get back to winning, 24 - 14. 11/06 New York Jets Repeat of the NE game with the Bills coming from behind to win it on a field goal with 2 seconds on the clock, 17 - 14. 11/13 @ Dallas Cowboys Dallas looking to stay alive in the NFC East, control the game from the start and win, 24 - 31. 11/20 @ Miami Dolphins Bills squish the fish for a 17 - 10 win in 70 degree sunny weather (for a change) 11/27 @ New York Jets Revenge time for the Jets, who cares, Bills lose 14 - 21. 12/04 Tennessee Titans Titans are rebuilding w/o a decent QB despite Chris Johnson's best efforts, Bills win 21 - 10. 12/11 @ San Diego Chargers SD is still a tough talented team and Rivers hoses the Bills for 28 points and a loss despite Merrimans homecoming , 3 - 28. 12/18 Miami Dolphins Low scoring game in the snow, Bills win it, 10 - 7. 12/24 Denver Broncos Denver can't get running game going, Tebo can't get it done, Bills smother Broncos, 24 - 10. 1/01 @ New England Patriots Bills already have the division wrapped up, play all the back ups and still almost win, 14 - 17. Final Record 12 - 4 Division Title.
  22. LOL. However, the key ingredient of the article is that Charlie Weis is no longer caller the offense. Good news for us on opening day against a shaky team learning a new offense.
  23. And watch what? Dancing Girls?
  24. Too bad there won;t be a 2011 season. It would have been fun to see the... J-E-T-S Suck SUck SUCK.
  25. The combination of initial burst and vision make White a dangerous runner. He is able to quickly decipher post snap information and find the proper running lane. He avoids wasted motions and prefers to make one cut and get up the field. White is able to locate cutback lanes when they present themselves. When in space, he does a good job of running with patience and setting up his blockers. His patience and vision are a major contributors to his ability to score from long distances. You mean like the dancer M.Lynch?
