But all of this bickering over which lineman ppl prefer is funny to me who of us breaks down lineman film. Who has watched more than youtube highlights meant to impress ppl ala john wendling. Even the most diehard has to admit we are playing with all of our backups who were playing behind average players to begin with. Is our O line not backups how about our lb corp or our dbs come on man the only reason this would happen is to further infuriate us and drop our draft pick. Mckinney was benched because after the Ari game when the vikes were manhandled some of the defensive players came out and said that they knew when the vikings were running or passing d/t Mckinneys stance. It is the same reason he was benched in the next game after getting a penalty for not lining up on the line and trying to cheat and get the extra step dropping into pass protection. Better than Williams yes good pick/player eh servicable at best. One bad game? lol how many viking games do you actually watch?

I think there are so many draftable qbs that getting one early wouldnt neccesarily be the best option. I agree with the line out theory but want a stud dt. I also wouldnt mind a ot but i think a very good qb could be had in the 2nd. Between Locker, McCoy, Clausen, Tebow, and Bradford one should be available in the second round or even poss the 3rd. Line out is a great idea but the picks need to be QUALITY. which with the bills track record....

1. DT - there are a few first rnd prospects in this draft. Team has not been the same since letting pat williams go and not drafting ngata a few years later hurt as well. This would improve the run defense the fastest. 2 QB - As mentioned there are several good prospects this year and not that many teams with a need for a qb. One could be had at the Bills 2nd round pick that should have gone higher. 3 OT - RT LT whichever we got would improve our line and help the offenses progress more than improving any other position (besides QB - which cant function w/out a line anyway) 4 Lineman - OL or DL I really envision Maybin getting slid to LB as that would seem to be his more natural position and that would leave a need at DE depth unless C. Ellis becomes more like that other guy from VaTech 5 LB - and an actual LB as well not a transitioned player from any other position ( I know I just saidf Maybin should switch but hes already on the roster) because invariably our lbs get hurt every single year depth would be good here 6 FB - Every year I hope for the Bills to stop with this ridiculous h-back position that i hate. Good FBs can be had this late every year and a good run/pass blocking back would help Freddy and Marshawn 7 DB - you have to let Jauron have one every year but hopefully its not.... who am i kidding the 7-9 Bills will keep him again for continuitys sake <---- please god that is sarcasm do not punish me for such silly jokes!

Actually i think i can understand the moves. Jauron was kept for continuity - how could he then justify firing someone. Also even thought the coordinator is the same and the tackle was on the team it was an entirely new system going from traditional to no huddle. Perhaps they were given a fair shot and obviously (to all who watched) could not succeed. So the Bills showed some loyalty and gave opportunities to two people who had earned that. Arent you glad these moves happened before the games counted instead of wanting it to happen after they failed. Dont think Bradford is very good either if you watched the game without that monster line he had last year. Well let me qualify he is very good in college as i fear tebow might be but come on the intangibles that guy brings from leadership to work ethic. I would be happy with him or McCoy who i feel is the best of the group. Also as an fyi Snead looked GREAT in the fourth quarter of that game. Not sure abot the rest of it as i didnt see it but he was throwing darts and i think had 3 tds in that quarter alone. I too have begun looking at our future lol But dam i hope trent is the answer - please god? haha

Not big on Dungy as I thought he always underachieved (it was HIS team Gruden won with) Also not big on Gruden. I think Marty is intriguing as is del rio who ive always respected but i gotta lean towards shanahan as my prefered choice since Cowher would Never come here (hope im wrong on that) More than anything i just want a coach that wont make me stand in my shower wondering how the hell he(Juaron) was our best bet and thinking great were gonna suck for another 3 years. a few weeks ago they was a post about the spread and someone made a great point. What if you had bet money against the bills every super bowl. They lose and you get paid. They win and who cares about the money. It convinced me I for one think i might have to bet against them. But this is crazy i was expecting a 13-14 point spread at least to open with 15/16 by gametime. Hope I can get my bet in soon and lose my money on monday :-)

I seem to remeber the announcer (tasker i think) saying that trent was only comfortable throwing hitch routes and any other that involves them stopping and turning towards him and that he would like to see trent throw the ball to receivers on the run. I agree and yes its only preseason but isnt that the time to take your shots downfield cause missing isnt that important but practicing them at game speed is. Im on the not sure about trent bandwagon. Great at comp percentage and giving players a chance to make plays but not so good at making plays himself.
