My girlfriend (who doesn't know much about football) said to me tonight if the packers are so good and the bills are so bad why don't you just root for the packers.... Ah if it were just that easy... I said to her well when I started liking football the bills were that good to which she replied well how long ago was that I thought they were always bad. Man that hurt and the worst part was I couldn't even argue with her bc at 26 they have sucked almost her whole life. And on Sunday ill still be convinced the bills will win. Standing for every play in my living room and cheering like hell. Man I love football and the bills. Can't wait!

I'm a third generation bills fan and started rooting for the bills the year ronnie harmon dropped the ball in the endzone. I missed the early 80s misery the 60 and 70s misery. If I could I would leave the bills but they are like an ex girlfriend who cheats, has a drug problem, and is absolutely no good for you... and for some reason you can't say goodbye. I wish I could be a steelers fan or a giants but I'm not I'm a bills fan and at this point people don't even laugh at me like they did after the sb years. They just say wow that sucks - I didn't think anyone still rooted for them, and I live in cny! Things are bad real bad and it seems the fans are the only ones who care. I don't know how much longer I can do that. If there is no commitment by this team to try and put a good product on the field I can't keep caring - its not fair to myself and it sucks to feel that way about my favorite team in my favorite sport.

Agreed this is why free agents don't want to come to buffalo. It is not a place with an owner trying to win but one making money for his estate. This article disproves the "he could have made more money somewhere else be glad he didn't move them" theory. And this to me is exactly what ralph takes advantage of. I don't think the bills will move after ralph passes but it is nothing I can control so I don't worry about it. I do think threatening fans is a crappy thing to do to your fan base as is selling a game a year to toronto. my comparison were based on him caring less about winning and more about making money some owners do this and donald sterling as well as imo ralph are 2 examples that's all. I still live and die with the bills. I still check this board many times a day. I will be ecstatic when they return to relevance/dominance I just don't know if ralph will be the owner when it happens.
