I watched Friday night of the draft with a browns fan and he was talking about this. Hates te ravens more than any team in any sport bc they won the super bowl AFTER leaving Cleveland. Then the team that was given to them to replace the original has been horrible. I told him I prob would stop watching football altogether if that happened.

I would like us all to pause for a minute and consider this: This team has no glaring holes. Some question marks sure but every team has those. This is such a different year where our picks are depth and allowed to learn before being relied on to contribute substantially. After the draft our secondary, linebackers, offensive lines, and special teams are much improved. Add in free agency where our defensive line was greatly improved and were looking at a bright future. This team is leaps and bounds better than the one that started 5-2. It's also light years ahead of the team that finished 6-10 with our healthy guys returning. All in all best offseason for the bills in a while. Some areas could be improved like backup te, wr, and qb but that's the thing that has me excited were talking about backups! Last thing I'll add is this: it's fitz's year to sh*t or get off the pot. With our limited needs next year the fo may go all in for a qb of the future type. We will see how the season plays out but that's my 2 cents.

He should call raymer and thank him. May make it for knockoffs only but I envision him getting put on the practice squad for insurance. Not a bad pick imo. As an aside on a related topic... I was surprised at the number of kickers drafter this year 3 pk and 1 punter off the top of my head which seems like way more than normal.

I think a qb is a definite possibility with the last 2 picks. I love Moore and only time will tell if the bills do to. You hope we draft in the top 10 next year?!?!?!

For those interested he also ran a draft diary for walterfootball.com it's nothing earth shattering but I found it interesting none the less. I'll have to reread it now that he plays for the bills.

If they were looking for starters in the 5th that would say a lot of bad things about the team. Every pick from here on out will be bpa and hope to find a gem. This was a kid projected to go as high as the 3rd! Enjoy what the team is doing bc it's been very impressive so far.

I have to revisit this after the first round we just saw. I worked out all of the point values of the trades and came up with some interesting numbers (to support my argument of course ) Cleveland Browns: Acquire pick No. 3 in 2012 Minnesota Vikings: Acquire picks No. 4, No. 118, No. 139 and No. 211 in 2012 Cleveland gave up 1901.5 points and received 2200 points which is a point difference equal to the #60 overall pick. So this trade didn't follow the chart Jacksonville Jaguars: Acquire pick No. 5 in 2012 Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Acquire picks No. 7 and No. 101 in 2012 Jags gave up 1596 points and received 1700 points. To make this trade far the Jags should have had to add the equivalent of the #99 overall pick so this didn't follow the chart. Dallas Cowboys: Acquire pick No. 6 in 2012 St. Louis Rams: Acquire picks No. 14 and No. 45 in 2012 Cowboys gave up 1600 points and received 1550 the difference of #122 overall. In looking at the Pats* trades they only have 2 second rounders left... in the entire draft! They traded away their 3rd and 4th to move up in each trade and now are left with only 2 picks so it will be interesting to see where they go from here.

Schefter just announced the pats* pick as chandler jones and it is before the titans pick has been announced lol On a side note didn't want chandler to go to the pats*. He's from Rochester, played at Su, and is bones jones brother. Wanted to root for him and now I can't lol

RB is a part of a team not the whole team, just bc there has been some lack of team success doesn't make it a bad pick.
