I agree this was one of the better ones in a while but I wondered... why don't they just move there? It's zombie proofed and the Governor won't be involved. It would help restore a sense of normalcy for Rick, his boy, and Morgan. Just a thought...

MCW needs to stay. I think he is gone but he won't be a top 10 pick. He is too inconsistent and a terrible ball handler. He does so much better playing off the ball I constantly wonder why Triche isn't bringing the ball up. I won't try to win a pulitzer but it seems obvious.... This team all year long I was off the bandwagon. Not a top 10 but a top 20 team. Then they beat Louisville and all of a sudden I was a believer, and the wheels fell off. Buffalo Bills type season for me - just as I dropped the cynicism - they dropped the winning....

I had to show my wife this clip bc when I was talking to my father about it his response was to yell STELLLLLAAAAAA 2 or 3 times as I cracked up.

I can't believe no one has mentioned this to you but.... Conditioner for your beard!!! Shampooing and Conditioning your beard will take away a lot of the scratchiness and roughness of your beard. Bonus is that it smells nice. Seriously tho - shampoo and conditioner!

Oh man I don't want to hear that! lol I actually saw it at a friend's grandma's funeral and thought it was a very beautiful name. I wasn't that mad when Layla got "taken"
-
I'd tell you 2 good names but my wife would kill me. Her sister "stole" the name if we have a girl and it got ugly. So sorry random tbd'er I'll give you stock answers. There is truth to giving them a "normal" name helping them out later in life. I read an interesting study where people with unique names struggled getting jobs as hiring managers would prefer to skip over names they may not be able to pronounce. Not sure of its accuracy but.... For Boys: William - shorten it to Bill and you've avoided the whole can I convince him to be a Bills fan fiasco. It's a guarantee. For Girls: Layla - Clapton song and I just like the name.. aww f*ck it - girls name Stella - great old name and just beautiful imo, Victor - strong name and again an old name. If I know you and you use these I am not responsible for the hell that will rain down on you if/when my wife hears what you named your child but seriously Congrats!!!

So glad I'm not the only one that feels this joke has run its course...

A name I like is domenik hixon. Should be fairly cheap and has been productive on a Super Bowl winning team. Best bang for the buck imo

You know I have been a little disenchanted with tbd lately but this. This is excellent. Thanks for a great thought provoking post with facts. Well done good sir! Oh yeah give me Barkley all day !

Just to add an answer as well... A ahem "friend of mine" laid it out like this. A pipe is about .4 but can vary greatly depending on the size of the head. Water pipes are the same. Joints and blunts depending on paper size can fit anywheres up to 3.5 grams( more if you have a little Cuban in you). Each delivery method "wastes" a certain amount as well. Vaporizers are the best delivery method for the least amount of waste. As others have mentioned tolerance as well as quality make a huge difference. People have laid that out quite successfully. As for aggressive driving?!?! Never have I once been too aggressive. I mean my friend. Wait what were we talking about?

Don't you know the best way to get a kid to mature is give him millions and a sense of entitlement being the face of an nfl franchise?!
-
I didn't find anything captivating... She is a psycho! Very at ease while on the stand swiveling back and forth shows absolutely no remorse. Yikes!
-
This is why I posted it. I think watching the kid he has tons of tools that will help him in the NFL. I have also read about him being intelligent and a student of the game. I just clearly remember saying to my sister - "look at the qb he couldn't care less" and that scares the bejeesus out of me. I hope it was just immaturity and that this one anecdote doesn't explain him but as I said it's tough to shake. All of this said, if the Bills don't draft him - I don't give a hill of beans whether he cares or not lol. 518 attempts (to be exact) and how many ints? He put up stats no doubt. Tds, completions, etc... but the lack of ints should be very telling to you that he makes good decisions with the ball and has accuracy add in his ypa of 8.1 and it's very telling that he wasn't just throwing screens and dump offs. I'll save you the time - 6. 6 ints which at 518 attempts would put him among the NFL leaders (actually above every NFL qb in the league this year 1:86.3 attempts - NFL Leader Aaron Rodgers 1:69)

State of the Union Address
section122 replied to keepthefaith's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I know I should watch but I can't stand the circle jerk that it is. Interrupting for a standing ovation after every sentence is just above and beyond annoying. That said..... Why is it so "cool" to bash the president now. It started with Bush so is this just pay back for the other side? Is it just that we have had back to back bad president's (that somehow managed second terms - basically bc of poor opponents)? Or is this just the new norm and the office doesn't deserve respect anymore? Kennedy had tons of warts (womanizer, questionable war history, etc..) and yet is revered still to this day. What happened to the office of President? -
This is the reservation I have about Smith. I was very close to the WVU sideline at the dome in 2011. It was Chandler Jones coming out party (and why I was so high on him last year) and Cuse absolutely smashed what was the 11th ranked wvu team. The final score ended up being 49-23. Geno threw 2 picks and was sacked 4 times (as an interesting aside Marrone won all 3 of the games against WVU that Smith started holding the O to 14, 23, and 14 points - he must know something about Smith's weaknesses) I went to the game expecting SU to get blown out but was looking forward to seeing Smith in action. He wasn't good. Bad days are bad days and normally that wouldn't be the end all be all, but his demeanor was concerning. He went from (all of this is imo) apathetic in the early going to laughing it up on the sidelines late. I didn't see a rah-rah rally the troops leader. I didn't see a guy that frankly seemed to care very much. The stats are there and so is the accuracy but I can't shake that night whenever Smith is mentioned. btw what is up with these chicken little sky is falling threads? Levitre is leaving, SMith will be gone!!! Do people around here just enjoy being miserable and fearing the worst?!?! I know we're Bills fans but come on...

QBs are getting ready for the combine
section122 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
ah everything right here in one post! The Senior Bowl! what a great place to judge talent! The senior bowl is more about the practices than it is the game and even then it is a crap shoot. You know who improved their stock the most at the Senior Bowl? Geno Smith by not going. Shocked if he goes before the 4th round.... be ready bc as I've linked (and if you googled) it will happen. EJ is a better prospect at all aspects of the game (except for yard and tds) but those aren't important. I'm not trying to pick on you but the certainty/negativity is mind boggling. I like a few qbs in this draft (Barkley, EJ, Nassib in that order) but could very well be wrong about Smith (demeanor/leadership), Wilson (system/hand size), Bray (so many concerns), etc.. All of these guys have something that is leading them to be discussed as future "franchise qbs." I'll stop if we can all agree that Nassib will go in the second at the latest and just stop with the 4th, 5th, 6th round junk. If not put yer money where your mouth is... -
QBs are getting ready for the combine

I will give that to you since you explained yourself better but when does he become a "good pick?" If he is meant to be the team's centerpiece 8 is not to early. If a trade down is an option (one which I too would fully support btw) how far down do you go? To me if there is no option to trade down 8 is fine bc I don't see any scenario where he is around at 40. (this is all IF he is even there guy - my pure speculation is it will be Barkley) -

SO everyone (alright most people) in this thread are convinced Nassib is going to be terrible? The Senior Bowl being the most oft repeated reason. I love the certainty in this thread. Brian Brohm was used as an example - if any prospect gets compared it should be Tyler Wilson. He had the same coach and did terrible without him. It's time for a cool cucumber in the pocket - just like Peyton Manning... oh wait. I cannot imagine what motivating factors (besides desperation) would cause folks to see this kid as anything but a 5th or 6th rounder - Ryan Nassib is on the radar of the Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles and New York Jets. All three teams "think highly" of Nassib, (and that was just the first of many links when googling Nassib) Is this similar to Whitner and Eric Flowers shooting up the draft board? -Or if you want to be optimistic it's like Stephon Gilmore last year or Patrick Peterson the year before. I want no part of any "dalton type QB" - you know the guy who took a terrible franchise to the playoffs his first 2 years in the league... yeah me neither If he's our starter in '13, it's a MINIMUM three more years of suckdom before we blow another draft, and settle for a different bum in 2017. - wow before he has even taken a snap he will be the SOLE reason for 3 more years of suckdom (which I would be willing to bet you think will happen no matter who is drafted) I'm in the "I think Nassib will be a good pro" camp and think that the situation couldn't be any more perfect for him. A prospect that almost everyone is hyping as at least a late first round pick, whose head coach is now the Bills HC, same with OC, could be had by the Bills and everyone is mad at the idea? This gives him the biggest advantage by knowing the system and coached which lessens the learning curve, but this is a terrible thing? I've watched him many many times and this year I thought to myself this is an NFL qb. Time will tell. -
I actually think this is prob the worst show I have ever seen. Bad dialogue corny jokes just nothing funny at all. Then again at 31 and make I'm probably not their target demographic...

What Free Agents Would You Look At?
section122 replied to Rob's House's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dammit I spent all my money! I'm sure the numbers that I put on players were more than optimistic and they won't really be an option. I think the players I listed would be good adds for the team (and I'm playing with monopoly money ) Steelers 2013 Unrestricted Free Agents (not much here in the way of value/ age) S Will Allen QB Charlie Batch WR Plaxico Burress S Da'Mon Cromartie-Smith LB Larry Foote RG Ramon Foster WR David Gilreath NT Casey Hampton CB Justin King QB Byron Leftwich OG Doug Legursky CB Keenan Lewis LB Marshall McFadden RB Rashard Mendenhall FS Ryan Mundy TE Leonard Pope LT Max Starks NT Alameda Ta'amu LS Greg Warren -
It's a guilty pleasure of mine. I usually will "watch" as I do chores around the house. If something particularly interesting comes on I'll sit down and watch. Maybe I will try out KOK's idea though just to get a jump on the late round picks.
