How many teams have this said about them? Games are played for a reason.

There's a lot of butt-hurt reporters when it comes to the Bills these past few months and a good load of reason to not accept Tim Graham's reports. His 'reporting' (might be more accurate to say reposting) on ESPN has not exactly been stellar. However, I don't doubt that a Thursday afternoon drew a small crowd. Reports of ticket sales show that fan support is otherwise though.

Win or Lose, he's seems to be instilling an attitude in this team. I don't kow if he's the coach to win us a Superbowl, but he may he certainly seems to be teh coach to get us back to being a tough, respectable football team.

..and every other player that is a free agent...or just int he NFL...sometimes, not even a Football player. People want everyone who isn't already on the team. Anyways, it will be interesting to see how it all shakes out. Is every lineman required to run this test?

You have a bit of a misnomer in there. They must win now to 'please you'. The Bills actual fanbase remains strong and it will be so next year. I'd expect a lot of positive feelings if the team finished better than .500

It's a practice. Can we make more mountains out of molehills? Have you ever played a sport at any level? You do that at the end of every practice..it's a routine.

Let's hope he's genuine if he does return and isn't simply showing up to collect his paycheck.

Part of the reason he has had trouble this year is because of his decreased production with the Bills. It's unlikely he would have received that amount elsewhere than Buffalo though.

I don't have any special knowledge or indight, but my own view is that's it's a fairly straight forward situation. Schobel wants to play for a team closer to his home in Texas. He also wants special privileges and gave the Bills an ultimatum. They can let him be a ghost and 'show up on Sundays' or he doesn't want to play for Buffalo. He wants to be released or cut so he is a free agent. The Bills aren't going to do that. No team will trade for him given the circumstances. He has the option to retire and 'get on with his life'. Aaron Schobel is the one choosing to drag this out. He is the one waffling. He wants that money and will likely show up when all is said and done. He expected another Jauronesque season where he could dictate his terms to the team like player got used to doing. That was not the case and now that the 8 million is on the line, he's shown his position. Please, Schobel, just retire already.

I'm willing to take that bet. He will not reach those numbers this season. No team is bringing him in to be the top guy or even a 'major' secondary contributor. He can still play and do so very well, but there isn't any team in the league with the 'right circumstances' for him to get those numbers.
