  1. A DL would not shock me (not our biggest need), but may be the only available piece cost wise (picks and cap), and we value getting to the other teams’s QB. depends what Toney shows up. Guy is a complete mystery.
  2. who else are you down? I’m out Chase, M. Brown, and Thomas.
  3. I have Chase on my fantasy team. How did this happen. Practice?
  4. should have gone to Buffalo. Clearly if you redid the draft he is top 15.
  5. Would have been nice to have him here for a 4th. Another great rotational piece.
  6. the D line makeover was huge. Leslie is great, but Bean got him a Lot of great parts.
  7. he has great coordinators this year. A totally mediocre coach.
  8. agree. hard to tell why not. Moss has been inconsistent but perhaps needs consistent carries?
  9. this is some of the people. But I think others want a back to compliment Singletary either as someone to share the load, or a bruiser. Doesn't need to be a stud like CMC, perhaps a short-yardage bruiser (that Moss was supposed to be). I think Cook was supposed to be Singletary's eventual replacement, but he's not looking great.
  10. A good point. For me the issue is twofold: (1) Singletary gets injured, we are screwed, Moss is inactive some games, Cook is playing like a rookie and has yet to show he can handle a game; (2) Singletary is a FA after this year and likely pricing himself out of Buffalo, so if we can get Singletary a complement that is on a rookie or low cost contract, we have a RB for next year and don't need to burn a pick on a proven back. I'm also all for interior OL.
  11. when was this filmed? It’s really funny “that was quite a few words if you had no words”.
  12. I don’t necessarily disagree. My concern would be refs calling it even more infrequently.
  13. I always wonder about “targets”. How are the quality of targets taken into account?
  14. Gruden was the swinger? In any event, whoever the swinger is, we will never see "evidence" of it becuase it's likely irrelevant to the lawsuit.
  15. yeah, I haven't watched him much. I know he was a hot prospect coming out, but no clue how he has done since then. Injured in 2021.
  16. the easiest team. Might be the Packers in that scenario. Tampa would be fun, but it we lost the depression of losing to Brady for his last win would linger.
  17. Cam Ackers is available. Not sure if he is better than what we have here, but may be able to keep him beyond this year as I think (without looking up) he has another yr on rookie contract
  18. we are working in the confines of a cap system. Good teams get good players. We are not buying more than any NFL Champ
  19. CMC or not, I would like a RB in case Singletary is hurt or to compliment him (CMC), and a other WR. OL help would be ideal also. Would trade draft picks for OL help as drafting there has been seemingly difficult league wide recently.
  20. agreed, although I suppose he could play slot WR. OBJ would be fantastic.
  21. for a 7th rounder, sure. Not much more. Like others have said: sometimes he is on, other times he is just way off. Not sure if Hall could get more consistently good play over him, or not. He's also a bit of a headcase. Steeler fans down here would LOVE to see him go, for what it's worth--although most Steeler fans are over reactionary.
  22. wow, nice name calling. I'm hardly a one-dimensional fan. In fact, I often get critiqued for being too hard on our guys. Now, as to the substance of your argument re: Sauce: Lazard has been awful this year, ditto with Claypool, and Johnson due to the Steelers QB debacle. Waddle is great, but not a great QB tossing him the ball (same issue as Johnson). Yeah, I'll be more impressed when he faces a QB like Mahomes with the surrounding talent. When we toast him, he won't be DROY for long. Wollen in Seattle is a beast and could make a case at this point for DROY and get votes for DPOY.
