Don't expect Donte to be re-signed by the Bills. Byrd is part of the plan to replace him. He will want more money than he makes now, and the Bills will never pay him what he thinks he is worth. I might have to agree with the Bills on this one. I hope he proves me wrong this year.
Maybe he is thinking next year will be an uncapped year and someone like Dan Snyder will open the vault for him. Who knows, maybe someone (Dan Snyder) has already convinced him to wait it out, telling him that "all good things come to those who wait". But that being said, I think his threat to re-enter the draft is a negotiation ploy.
Isn't it their jobs to talk about the "same bulls!t? Didn't they sign up to talk about sports? Walker was cut yesterday, they should be talking about that. I don't feel sorry for them one bit. I feel sorry for the listeners. If they are so bored talking football 40 different ways, I am very sure there are more than 40 people that would love to take their job.
Brandon is fairly new at all this. So he will make his mistakes. But i think the guy wants to win, and I think he is willing to take some chances when he sees things are not going in the right direction. I want to give him a chance. He is smart. I know this doesn't always translate into being a good gm, but I hope he gets a chance to put his own stamp on this team.Right now, he's still cleaning up the messes left by the previous gms.
I am psyched. The NFL is ready to begin. So I turn on WRG55 to get my football fix and what are they discussing? Whether the happy birthday song is one of the best songs ever!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME ?? Who's running that station??
I wish Marv had never been named GM back then. Dockery, Walker, drafting Wittner way too early, along with his support for Jauraon as head coach. Awful!!! Wow, Marv, you killed us!!!
Reason on your logic..if you say the Bills cut Rhodes to save money, then it has to mean they signed him knowing they would cut him. Ralph signed off on his signing..it makes absolutely no sense that they now cut him to save money. He didn't make that much. He came relatively cheap. Fact is, he was not good enough.
