  1. Cleveland Browns (5-4) over New England Patriots (5-4) . . . Yes, go with the Browns New Orleans Saints over Tennessee Titans (7-2) . . . Not likely Minnesota Vikings over Los Angeles Chargers (5-3) . . . Nope 🤣 Detroit Lions over Pittsburgh Steelers (5-3) . . . Nope Philadelphia Eagles over Denver Broncos (5-4) . . . Nope Kansas City Chiefs (5-4) over Las Vegas Raiders (5-3) . . . Yes, I would bet this one Assuming a Bill win, of course, if the Browns and Chiefs come out on top, with the Dolphins win, it will be a good week. A big bonus would be Saints over the Titans (which would not surprise me, but the Titans should win).
  2. This is totally (and literally--I'm sitting in my rocking chair) "arm-chair" GM'ing, but I would love to see us take a chance on this guy: Phil Haynes, who's patiently waiting for another NFL opportunity on the Seahawks practice squad. My man has been at or near the top of The PSPR for weeks now for a reason. The nearly 6-foot-4, 320-plus pounder tested like a high-caliber athlete at the 2019 combine after an illustrious, 47-start career at Wake Forest. While he's battled injuries over the past two seasons after being Seattle's fourth-round pick, he does have playoff experience, believe or not. Haynes played left guard in the Seahawks wild-card round loss to the Packers in Green Bay as a rookie. On 41 pass-blocking snaps, he surrendered just two hurries of Russell Wilson. And this past preseason, Haynes rocked. One pressure allowed on 71 pass-blocking snaps. If the Bills actually do feel the depth of their guard position has to be improved, Haynes needs to be their guy. If not him, then go get DeCastro if he is ready to get back to football. We know that is an upgrade.
  3. But did he say who will be playing at the guard positions?
  4. Every time I see a thread like this I think of Dick J. He was prophetic.
  5. Nothing .... It's in New Jersey, it's on a landfill, what more do you need to know?
  6. The Chiefs make sense. They need someone to help take the pressure of Hill. They are on the edge of the play-offs, it would be a low-risk and potentially high-reward move for them. As for the Bills, I do not see how OBJ makes much sense. Not sure he upgrades anything from R's 2-4, maybe if they cut Sanders? But that is all, and it won't happen.
  7. Clearly, they are just trolling the Bills Mafia again and trying to run up the clicks. Just say "no!"
  8. Daboll does seem to get stubborn at times. Or is he just not good at making in-game adjustments???
  9. 1 - Agree 2 - Agree 3 - Agree 4 - Agree 5 - Agree 6 - Agree 7 - Agree 8 - Agree
  10. Jimmy! Welcome back to TBD. The best part about Jets week. …. After last week, this could be the year. I hope not, but it may be.
  11. Okay, the lamenting is over, time to move on to solutions and forward momentum. Thus, my offensive line changes this week: LT - Dawkins, LG - Douglas or Bates (both will get snaps, and the best man wins), C - Morse, RG - Williams, RT - Brown And with Moss out, Breida gets a chance to earn his pay check this week.
  12. 😳 Yikes!
  13. You lost me at “Like many of you.”
  14. I’m reading this thread and thinking, are the Pats having Covid issues again? …. Ah, now I see the relevance.
  15. Ike has played it in Preseason games, emergency center.
  16. Most unbearable part of Jacksonville loss = The final score.
  17. Jamil is not a rookie (NFL Stats), but I do agree with you. He has NFL starting experience, and they must like him as they have protected him. I said it in another thread, time to give both him and Bates a chance, can they be any worse? They both have started and have had enough success to stick on the team.
  18. Well, I'm not sold that everyone has figures us out. We're still near the top of the league in points scored. But I will agree that we have become is very predictable. Especially in the run game; that is, what little we have of it. When Josh lines up under center, 90% of the time it is a run. We all see it, certainly defensive coordinators see it. The other issue about our run game is RPO. This became quite apparent in the late fumble play. My take is, Josh Allen (who I love as our QB) just doesn't execute the RPO very well. And in general, the RPO have not been that productive for us. I believe the reason is the mind is made up before he sees what is really happening. On that play, we all could see it open up, give it to Singletary and he has five yards or more easily. But I believe he was already set on running it (like most of the time) and he played right into the defense end--who was standing there waiting for him. If his eyes were up and he was really trying to discern in the middle of play, it was an easy read. I just don't think he has the mind (his mindset is "I'll do whatever it takes to make this happen" - rather than doing the smarter thing to make this happen) for that type of play calling. I hope I'm wrong, but that play in particular showed why I think this.
  19. Probably has the COVID, I heard it is going around the QB room.
  20. Well, for perspective, we did draft three offensive linemen this year. One is a starter. And we brought in three Free Agents who started on other teams. So it’s not like it has been totally ignored. Regardless: Mr Bates and Mr Douglas, here is your opportunity. Oh, and Mr Johnson, you can leave now. Your employment in Buffalo has come to an end.
  21. yeah, “They don’t write-’em like that anymore”
  22. I posted this in the song thread, but it seems appropriate here as well …. Maybe I’ll post it in all the Jacksonville threads 🤪
  23. Not sure I can say Urb out-coached us, the Bills out-coached (or under-coached) and hurt themselves. The Jags had a lot of luck and a terrible day by the Bills go their way. But better coaching, no, I can’t say it.
  24. Well, we all trust things turn for the good Virgil. Thanks for your contribution to this board. We’ll miss it, and hopefully we see you back here next week after a Bills beat down of the Jets.
