  1. This is my feeling 100%. If it's not one of those three WRs, I'd prefer that they wait until the 2nd or even 3rd. Barring a blockbuster trade up, there is next to no chance that they'll get a shot at either Jeudy or Lamb. Ruggs is the most realistic of the three, IMO, and that might even take a slight move up as the Eagles sit just ahead of the Bills at 21. If they can get one of the few top Edge prospects in Round 1, that would be my preference. Free agency will flesh out a lot of the scenarios but it is shaping up to be a very intriguing off season.
  2. In fairness, any position can have good players turn out to be bad picks. It's not isolated to just CBs/DBs. Honestly, given this current regime's track record, I feel more confident in them identifying a "good one" at CB than I do in them getting it right with a WR. Let's hope this is the year that they show they can properly evaluate a franchise type WR, as well, because this offense certainly needs one. At this point, I'd rather see them go Edge at 22 and then either grab their WR in Round 2 or trade back into the bottom of the 1st to get one. One thing is certain, they will have no shortage of options when they execute their first pick.
  3. Notice I had Edge listed first but you conveniently ignored that and bolded CB, Bill. It's a simple matter of numbers and, outside of Lamb, Jeudy, & Ruggs, the value is not there at WR in Round 1, IMO, when you can get a quality starting receiver into at least Round 3. If Ruggs hadn't been there, I would have been looking to take AJ Epenesa. He's an Edge defender and I would go Edge over CB but...if one of the few stud CBs was still there...it would certainly be a viable option if better than what was left on the board at Edge. The scarcity at Edge and CB dictates at least exploring those avenues. Tre White is about to get paid a king's ransom and nobody will be throwing his way. You need an inexpensive, high talent at the second spot to survive in today's NFL. That's not even debatable. Times have changed. You have been on an anti-CB crusade for years and it's now just antiquated, "you kids get of my lawn" thinking. As it is, I got a very good CB in Round 2. And we'll see about Jennings. I was shocked to see him there but he's certainly not without his warts. Your crimson colored glasses are clouding your judgement. I took a Crimson Tide WR and you still complained that I even entertained another position. ? If you weren't a fellow diehard 'Bama fan, I might have an issue with you. ? ROLL TIDE! GO BILLS!!
  4. Yessir. I find it interesting (don't know why but I do) that she has claws on her left hand but none on her right.
  5. Bingo! I was piggybacking off of your Greg Cater submission. Rare love/recognition for the punters.
  6. Priscilla Barnes?
  7. Get a grip and roll on outta here!
  8. Anytime. But I'm just an armchair GM, just like the rest of us.
  9. We shouldn't be making fun of this woman. She obviously has a lot of baggage. Now, carry on...
  10. His time really shouldn't affect anyone's evaluation, IMO. He was expected to run a '4.2 something', they just weren't sure where in the 4.2s he would land. That said, it only takes one GM to fall in love with the time and not what he has already put on tape, causing them to jump earlier than needed. I would not be shocked to see him go before 22 and I would not be shocked to see him still on the board at 22 although, admittedly, I would be pleasantly surprised. I think if he's still around at 21 then the Eagles would grab him. I was fully expecting to go Edge or CB with that pick and grab a WR in the 2nd Round but when Ruggs was sitting there, I had to pull the trigger.

  12. Cut yourself some slack. Given your state of mind at the time, how can you be entirely sure that the owner of those women's underwear didn't @#$& them before you slipped into them? ??
  13. Second time 'no' on John Skorupan. Haven't figured out #62 yet. #42 is Rod Kush.
  14. Knox looks like he's doing his best Bernie Kosar impersonation...
  15. Uwe von Schamann The ghost of Doug Whaley Curly, Larry, and Moe? Bronko Nagurski 'Billy The Kid' Jeff Nixon, University of Richmond
  16. Whether or not this turns out to be true does not change the fact that Florio is, was, and will always be a giant douche.
  17. Unfortunately, I don't see Ruggs falling to 22. Kid can fly.
  18. Would your feelings change if he defeated the Bills in the five AFC Championship games leading to those other Super Bowl wins?
