  1. I hope it passes just to piss off Aaron Rodgers and J.J. Twatt. Votes have to be in by 11:59 PM tonight so probably sometime Sunday morning.
  2. 1) I'm not worried about their age. 2) I was kidding, 3) Don't want Emmanuel Sanders. See above.
  3. 'Quick twitch' 'More quick than fast' 'Slow eyes' 'McBeane' (Bills-centric only)
  4. They can get him and, on opening day, they can trot out John Brown (30), Cole Beasley (31), and Emmanuel Sanders (33) and dub them 'The Geriatric Hat Trick'.
  5. No, he's actually twice as bad at play-by-play as most make him out to be. He's slow on calls and sounds like he's gasping for air half the time and his TD calls are trite and come across as scripted or forced ("TOUCHDOWN! TOUCHDOWN!! TOUCHDOWN, BUFFALO!!!"). Other than that, he's outstanding...
  6. Michael Jackson?
  7. Sorry. Should have used 'great' and not 'good'. My bad.
  8. I also have my doubts about a 32 year old CB who has really only had one good year but they must feel that he can contribute something in their zone scheme. Time will tell.
  9. I'm wondering if they spoke with KJ's agent and decided that he is asking for more than they are comfortable giving so they went with their 'Plan B' in Norman.
  10. He's entitled to his opinions like everyone else but he's a pompous blowhard and the Bills deserve a better play-by-play man, IMO. FWIW, he also said that Yannick Ngakoue is not all that good and is not a good fit in Buffalo.
  11. John Murphy just called him "a decent player". He's very versatile and more than "decent", Murph. ?
  12. Per WFAN, NJ Jest to release CB Trumaine Johnson.
  13. I'm not upset with the signing and I'm certainly glad that it's just a one year deal. I just think that the money could have been better used elsewhere regardless of having $80 million in cap space but that's just me. Beane and McDermott certainly know what Norman can and can't do and, hopefully, getting back to a zone scheme will help him. I still have doubts that a 32 year old CB will improve all that much regardless of scheme but if he contributes anything, it's a solid get. It also could have been a preemptive move to losing Kevin Johnson. They may have spoken to his agent and determined that it would cost more than what they gave Norman and don't want to go that high. Time will tell. Nobody can accuse this regime of at least not trying to get better and, if nothing else, people will have another Josh to bash. ??
  14. Fair enough. Just don't get your hopes up for Norman or you will be sorely disappointed. I'm not questioning McDermott's defensive prowess but he's not a miracle worker. That's an expensive signing just to get a vet in the DB room. Color me extremely skeptical on this one.
  15. Did any of you who like this watch him last year? He was awful.
  16. Per Mike Garofolo the Bills have signed Norman to a one year $6 million deal (could become $8 million). Don't like this at all. He's toast. At least it's only one year. https://twitter.com/MikeGarafolo?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^author
  17. That contract would have been another Gettleman special. First, overpay your cross-town rival with 3rd and 5th picks for a one-dimensional player that his former team was desperate to unload and then compound the mistake by throwing a pile of cash at said player. A deal this bad could still transpire if there is nobody in the Giants' front office who can save Gettleman from himself.
  18. I've listened to Bills games on my Chromebook via radio.com. You can listen to the feed via a laptop and I believe an iPad/tablet, just not on a cellphone. And, yes, that is due to some sort of licensing issue.
