  1. Daboll endured the Franciscan brothers in Athol Springs, and has also worked for Jimmie Laycock [coach of both Tomlin and McDermott], Saban x2; The Hoodie x2, and Crennel who is a quality guy. Not a bad set of coaching trees. He has worked for the best in both college and the pros, he knows his day will come.
  2. Just saying Fournette ran angry for the Buccs against the Saints. Would love a bigger back on the roster.
  3. Yes a big back would be nice. Fournette may be a bit of a head case, but he had some tough runs yesterday 100+ yards from scrimmage and a TD. He's also 6', not 5'7 or 5'9.
  4. we held a team, that could score on anyone to 3 pts..Think about that.
  5. doink 3.0. The OP tonight at least is kicker and punter hell.
  6. He lined up on the right side of the upright and went wide right, from middle would have been good,
  7. Josh takes more than his share of heavy hits. Good he got a call
  8. The legend comes down about the winds off the lakes. Tucker just found out.
  9. Guess Frazier isn't going to get that interview.
  10. As I read it, only HC's can be blocked, everyone else is fair game. Even Coordinators can't be blocked.
  11. Original Bills Fan here since 1960. Veteran of the Rockpile end zone. Have a 41 year old son who's been a Bills fan since he was in diapers.
  12. Charley Weis is available, doubt he would leave Florida for the 716, fun to listen to every morning.
  13. Just thinking he's a very experienced OC and worked wonders with Cam, and has a history with McBeane.
  14. Not according to this. https://sports.yahoo.com/nfl-teams-can-no-longer-block-assistant-coaches-from-interviewing-for-coordinator-positions-191317600.html
  15. Lived through that. Cookie was a better runner between the tackles, [and on bad fields - The Derrick Henry of his day] but Brown was also a deadly weapon in the passing game. Bills probably would have been in the first Superbowl. Saban traded Cookie to Denver, because he couldn't control Cookie, then did one of his multiple quits in anger. Joel Collier was an all-world DC, but not a head coach. We also stupidly let Lamonica go to Oakland and kept Kemp with eroding skills. the 1966 defense was rock solid and basically the same defense as the two AFL championship teams. Interestingly Lamonica was from Clovis California, also in the central valley of california, an hour from firebaugh, and was a big strong quarterback with great arm talent.
  16. Cringe, but Mike Shula has a history with McBeane. He's currently a QB coach, so would be tough to block him from a coordinator's job interview. He did coach Cam to a Superbowl, and Josh is a smarter Cam with a better arm. Just saying.
  17. Oh yes he was. Davis was the number-one pick in the 1962 NFL Draft on December 4, 1961.[13] Selected by the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL) in December 1961,[14] he was then almost immediately traded to the Cleveland Browns and issued number 45.[15] He was also drafted two days earlier by the Buffalo Bills of the American Football League.[16]
