  1. Holy crap. I'm embarrassed to say I never thought of that!
  2. Too see the game with fellow fans. What is "crazy edge" to one person is "!@#$" to another.
  3. Actually I'd like to see both. I'm getting tired of teams kicking field goals every time they cross the 50.
  4. "Records show Sapp completed the Prostitution Solicitation Counseling Program" So they counseled him on how to get a hooker without getting caught? Sweet.
  5. Like any good OC he is trying to deflect any undue pressure off of one of his players. No one outside of one Bills drive knows the truth and that is how it will stay until camp.
  6. He "may" have influence? A head coach "may" have influence over decisions involving signing QBs? Did you think about that statement before you pressed the Post button? I know Rex is the Bills HC now and you only want to think good thoughts. But come on man
  7. Nah I'm sure Krafty is giving them both a nice little severance package in exchange for their silence. The Pats organization may be a bunch of scumbag cheating pieces of ****, but they sure know how to cover their asses when it goes south to minimize damage.
  8. Players who failed blaming the outgoing coaches for the failure instead of themselves. Same with the fans of said players. Didn't see that coming
  9. The best one I've heard to date.
  10. I would be. He wants to win first and foremost so of course he would prefer Brady not in the game. Just false bravado now. Besides, he will get his chance to beat Brady later in the season.
  11. It's because NOTHING was proven. With the soft language used in the report, I don't even think Brady is being punished for cheating, but rather for not cooperating with the investigation. They cannot pull the SB win without hard evidence that the cheaters cheated..
  12. There won't be any punishment in my opinion because if you look at the language in the report, it is all "likely he would have been involved", or "unlikely that he would not have known". Nothing definitive outside of the fall-guys, particularly when it comes to Brady. This was the loophole put into the report so that the NFL has an out and does not have to punish either Brady or the Pats. Maybe they will throw fines their way, maybe. But suspensions or loss of significant draft picks, not a chance in hell in my opinion.
  13. QBs need to stop being such nancy's and use what's provided by the NFL.
  14. The way I see it is that Whaley handcuffed himself regarding QB when he gave up this years first for Watkins, so drafting a QB in this weak class would have been foolhardy (IMO). I think his strategy is that he has 2 "hail-mary's" in Taylor and Manuel. If one hits, amazing. If they both tank, he has Cassel as a game manager while his rookies and 2nd year guys get some seasoning as they look for a QB in the next offeason/draft.
  15. It is a loser attitude to want to see some, just a tiny bit, of evidence (as opposed to speculation) before believing that everything is all unicorns and rainbows to you then? OK. Yours is a post that is the "blind homer-est" ever I guess if we are making ridiculous fact-less statements
  16. What's the point of proclaiming awesomeness when the team has not even had one practice? After the past 15 years of "We got Marrone, the coach everyone wanted!", "We have a franchise QB now in EJ Manuel!", and maybe my favorite "We got Chan Gailey, the coach Jerrah said was his worst mistake firing!" ... playoffs for sure!!!!!!! ... I am definitely in show-me mode, tell-me just doesn't cut it anymore. In my opinion that isn't pessimism. I'm just not ready to be overly optimistic (some might say drinking the Koolaid) like the OP is, that's all.
  17. Yeah as you said "soon". But how many times has what you said in the original post been repeated here in the past 15 years? I agree that the Bills are looking better. I cannot say the same about the Sabres yet. They are at least 3 years out if all goes well in my opinion. When the Bills and Sabres prove themselves to be respectable, your original post will make sense.
  18. Only the NFL and Congress could make that report over 100 pages.
  19. Particularly when said owner is more into hockey than football. But what I suspect he meant was that Pegula was smart for letting the football people make the football decisions and not F'ing things up by getting too involved himself.
  20. Fairly common attitude at the Ralph. I'll do what I want, !@#$ everyone else. One reason I prefer to watch at home.
  21. Not that I disagree with you but: 1) No way because the teams make too much money off of concessions, beer has to be the biggest money maker. 2) No way because the NFL has maxed out in the US, so to continue increasing revenue they need to try and expand outside the US. You would be fired as commish if you even mentioned those things
  22. What about places where it is legal for pain relief or even recreational purposes? You would need to test for and ban alcohol, caffeine, and a whole host of other drugs as well.
