Too bad you aren't a betting man then because the last I heard the Vegas over/under for the Bills this season was 5.5.
-
The only reason I can see is that Fitz is expensive. Fitz: $2,995,590 Trent: $465,200 Brohm and Brown I can't locate at the moment, but clearly are lower than Fitz. Probably lower than Trent.

What are you talking about ... 19-0 baby!!!

The whole "forced" issue was talked to death before. But the fact remains he was never charged much less convicted of anything. So Goodell suspending Ben for being a !@#$tard would be no different than suspending this guy for also being a !@#$tard if he felt it was warranted and it really was him as you suggested.
-
King Roger suspended Big Ben remember for 4-6 games this season and he was never charged, let alone convicted, of any crime. His only offense seemed to be having sex with a drunk, underage (though he probably had no way to know that) girl in a bar bathroom (as well as previous similar situations in the past) King Roger can suspend for any reason he chooses if he thinks it violates the so called conduct policy.

People can always find something to complain about whatever service they have. I have had DTV in the past and now I have cable. The dish was already installed when I moved into the house so I had no installation headaches. I did have the "rain fade" issue that others have mentioned from time to time, but all in all I was very happy with it as a service. With Time Warner cable that I have now, the cable box software is absolute ****. It was bad before, but the software updated about 6 months ago and now it is the slowest and buggiest piece of garbage I have seen in a very long time. About once a month or so there is a issue with video or audio and the first few times I called customer service who told me to reboot the box by cycling power (unplugging). That solved the problem until the next time. Now I just cycle power when it !@#$s up once a month. I had them switch boxes out already and the issues remain. It seems to be a generic problem with these scientific american boxes. There is no line of sight to the necessary satellites in my current house or I would switch off of this time warner **** in a heartbeat. Not sure if I would switch to DTV or Dish network, but clearly I would be off of cable.

That's a little different because in a P2P environment you are a supplier as well as a consumer. -

I can't imagine anyone could trick themselves into thinking watching a online feed of a copyrighted telecast was legal, but I hear what you are saying -

You are absolutely right, and I don't do that anyway (I prefer sat feeds) but if you expect me to feel sorry for the NFL after they blackout a preseason game for not selling out while charging full price for tickets you are barking up the wrrong wrong tree. -
I'm not too sure about the starter vs starter stuff. Our starters have played longer (upwards of 50% longer in most cases) than our opponents this preseason. Even this past Saturday Cincy sat their starting QB and running back after the first quarter. I believe the Cincy defense sat a few starters at that same time as well, but I do not know their lineup enough to say for sure. It was their 4th and last preseason game after all. Our offense clearly looks better at this point in the preseason than it did last year. But Sunday September 12th we will start to find out how real this improvement is.

Levi Brown to the active roster?

I think Fitz could get cut simply due to this stat ... player salary: Fitz: $2,995,590 Edwards: $465,200 Odd and a little embarrassing that your perennial backup makes 6 times the salary of your multi-year starter -

Oh and one more thing. 4:3 aspect ratio, at least in Rochester, and super-homer Tasker, the regular season cant get here fast enough! Bently isn't bad at all though. -

Thanks Lady Now back to the game ... I wish Cinci would have kept all their starters in the entire first half. Makes it tougher to really know where we stand. But this was their 4th game so I can understand why they didn't. -

I am not a football fan, I am only a Bills fan. So I watch very few non Bills games. But yes, most games can be watched via a feed if you want to. -

Usually this doesn't bother me but....

Bah. Been discussed to death in numerous threads. When the Bills start beating teams when it counts, that's when the media will start mentioning them. Don't lose any sleep over what the media does or doesn't do until then. -

We were down at field level and one of CJs runs was near us. What caught my attention wasn't his speed, but his acceleration. He seems to run at about half speed down the line and as soon as he turns the corner he is up to full speed instantaneously. It was really something to see. My takeaways from the game were simple observations from the second half when the starters were on the sidelines sans pads. 1) CJ is small. I mean S M -ALL. He is exciting to watch and has a lot of talent to be sure. I just hope he doesn't get killed out there when it is for real. 2) Eric Wood is a freaking BEAST physically. Damn that kid is big. No stereotypical offensive lineman gut on this kid. If he keeps progressing he could be a keeper for a very long time. -
DirecTv and Dish Network are currently in the same dispute with Disney (the owner of ABC, ESPN and the Disney channels) as Time Warner. Some resolution will be reached I'm sure. Neither side wins with a blackout.

Bills vs. Bengals Live Stream Link!
CodeMonkey replied to mellaman101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm spoiled now with satellite feeds. Watching online stuff coming and going and pixelating frustrates me too much to watch. Picked up a cheap DirecTV dish on ebay, built a cheap portable PVC dish mount like this one (http://www.filesavr.com/pvcportabledishmount), got a fairly cheap yet good satellite receiver for a PC (http://www.proftuners.com/prof7500.html) for $70 (up to $90 now I see - I got mine direct which you apparently can't do anymore) and a PC/laptop with a HDMI out for the TV connection. Never blacked out and usually at least a 420 HD feed. Probably more work than most are willing to put into it, but that's stuff I play with anyway so for me it is just a nice bonus feature. If you are technically inclined I highly recommend it. -
Live Stream and Feeds for Bills Games

Well, here were the satellite feeds from last night. Posted at 5:45. -
After he was done, McKelvin had ice taped to his hamstring. But seeing as how he was out on the sideline and still walking around with it, I would feel safe to say it was only precautionary. Otherwise I don't recall seeing any walking wounded on the sidelines (and I was 6 rows behind the bench).

I'd take 7 if they had a sustained drive to get them and not one long play. -
