  1. Nah they would make some excuse. Some possibles: 1) Miami always starts slow. 2) Bad officiating. 3) The Miami players were poisoned with tainted chicken wings Saturday night. 4) Players too distracted with Bradys monster contract and wondering how much Manning will get now. Anything other than they were wrong about the Bills. Here's to hoping they have to make such excuses.
  2. If Kellys group can come up with that much bank that would be a wonderful thing.
  3. I would state it as changed above.
  4. I'm certainly not privy to Mr. Wilsons Will. But the entire plan consisting of leaving it to his wife and letting her figure out what to do? I have to believe someone like Mr. Wilson has more foresight than that.
  5. hehe. In the running for best avatar of all time
  6. I'd think the stability (in the moving or staying context) would have little to no effect on season ticket sales. It is a year to year decision for people. Where the team will be the following season should have no impact on the decision to buy for the current season or not. Now if there were a enormous one-time seat license to buy followed by more reasonable renewal rates the following seasons, then yeah. That decision would certainly be influenced by the stability.
  7. Where did you see that? Everything I read says Uncertain.
  8. I generally don't notice much unless an announcer is either exceptionally good or bad. I always found Madden to be very interesting and clearly knew what he was talking about. Tasker is just so much of a mega-homer that I actually had to mute the sound in the 4th quarter of the last preseason game. That plus his constant mistakes makes it too much to bear.
  9. Favorite: Every one we win. !@#$ the others.
  10. Well the opener is sold out, as is the Steelers game. I believe the Jets game is the other sell out so far. So that would mean the first 4 games will be on TV. I suspect how those first 4 games go will determine if the remaining home games sell out or not.
  11. I'm surprised DTV doesn't publish a list on their website of commercial licensees as a benefit to them. Then again, I suppose they want to encourage individuals to buy the ticket themselves. But remember, the ticket is free this Sunday. So anyone with a DirecTV subscription is a potential place to watch the game!
  12. Lots of teams thinking about blackouts this season: !@#$ you King Roger, you greedy !@#$. You will improve it all right, you may double it! Eat **** and die! Teams that have sold out for the season as of yesterday: Baltimore Ravens Denver Broncos Green Bay Packers Indianapolis Colts New England Patriots Cheatriats New Orleans Saints Philadelphia Eagles Pittsburgh Steelers Tennessee Titans Washington Redskins Link
  13. Hmmm. Good point, I stand corrected.
  14. Curious though as to why the Miami media thinks the fish are so much better than the Bills. Just being homers maybe? Vegas certainly does not agree with them. Wonder what they will be saying Monday after the fish squeak by the Bills, or better still, lose to them.
  15. Now that is something I think everyone can get behind!
  16. I agree. Most Bills fans who did not buy seasons this year are looking for a reason to buy tickets. If the Bills can give them one, a seat at the Ralph could be a hard thing to come by mid to late season.
  17. I'm in exactly the same place as you are.
  18. I agree, but I would direct that at the post I was responding to.
  19. I'm not sure I "dismissed" Gaileys record. I did say he was over .500. I said he had some talent on the Cowgirls team and he did. He had Aikman and Emmit Smith both years I believe (albeit at the end of their careers). And as you said his combined record as a head coach for the 2 seasons was 18-14 (or 18-16 if you include 0-2 in playoff games). Like I said, a "winning" record but hardly one that would inspire superbowl dreams. Also that head coaching experience was quite some time ago. The Bills do have largely the same personnel as last season, so my statement is not false. If they stay healthy or not this season remains to be seen, but the roster is not substantially different than last years. You seem to think Gailey is a great coach and will do great things with the Bills. Maybe he will, I certainly hope he can. But apparently unlike you, I do not expect a turnaround this season. I think Gailey/Nix will need at least 3 seasons to right the ship, if they can.
  20. 1) The Bills largely have the same personnel on both sides of the ball this season. 2) This is very possible. 3) You say this with Spiller having exactly zero live carries in a NFL game that counts? Scoring machine, really? He certainly looks exciting to watch and could prove to be very good if he can manage to stay healthy (he is very small). We should probably wait until he has at least one real game under his belt before we declare him the next OJ don't you think? 4) Proven winner? He hasn't been a head coach in the NFL for a very long time. And when he was, he did have a winning record (with a team with talent) but not hall of fame material. Excellent playcaller? That is a matter of opinion, and you could be right. We will start to see shortly. I don't mind people "billieving" at all, more power to you. It's revising history to make billieving easier I have trouble with.
  21. 2nd or 1st huh. You would have to be completely divorced from reality to think that, and insane to put it in print. This season anyway.
  22. I don't even want to know how you have such intimate knowledge of Rex Ryans bowel movements
