  1. Yup, which is why I am looking forward to tomorrow night. If they don't show up in that game the chances they will for week 1 in NJ are somewhere between slim and none. Personally I saw improvement from the first game to the second, particularly in the offense. I fully expect the offense to look like the offense of last season tomorrow night.
  2. Yes hammer does accommodate them. He doesn't hate on people because they did not have to good fortune to have Bills fans as parents.
  3. Oh come on you guys, he obviously just chugged a gallon of koolaid and is getting fired up for the dress rehearsal game Saturday
  4. I agree. This game will be a very good indication of exactly how much the Bills have improved over the past 2 ChaNix teams. No more valid excuses.
  5. That would be very scary for me as a Bills fan if these professional athletes at the NFL level need that to motivate or focus them.
  6. Group 2 for me. I think the offense needs the same kind of love Nix showed the defense this past off season.
  7. http://www.wkbw.com/sports/Bills---Steelers-Sold-Out--167065245.html
  8. Normally you could just go and pick up a nearly free ticket in the parking lot. Probably no so this year being the Steelers.
  9. One game at the Ralph (assuming the team scores a TD) will show you no.
  10. Mr. Wilson had no intention of leaving Buffalo the last time so it those terms did not matter to him. He and Brandon would both have to be idiots to not have an escape clause in this one in the case of new ownership. They are not both idiots.
  11. The lease is the linchpin to deciding if the Bills stay in Buffalo or not? You never heard of anyone breaking a lease before? The new owner(s) will be shelling out close to a billion dollars for the team. Do you think they would give a rats ass about a piddly fee to break the stadium lease if they think it is in their financial best interest to locate the team somewhere else? And even that assumes the new owners don't have the NFL pay any fines as part of the sale agreement.
  12. i'm not sure if it sells out every year or not, I tend to think not. But there is always a very large, fun, and well behaved crowd of Bills fans young and old there with fireworks after the game. This year should be interesting as I'm thinking a fair amount of the people will be Steeler fans. Say what you will about Brandon, but between training camp and the kids day game he is certainly doing a great job grooming the next generation of Bills fans. Not an easy task given the adult nature of regular season games.
  13. I know what you mean. Last year I paid about $40 for 6 lower bowl sideline seats. This year I paid well over $100 for 5. NO MORE STEELER KIDS DAY GAMES!
  14. Just got the text from the Bills. When is the last time a preseason game sold out 3 days before the game Anyone know how Steeler fans usually are? I'm going to be there with my family and am hoping to have our usual good experience. By and large Bills fans respect kids day. But I wouldn't expect Steeler fans to even know it is kids day.
  15. From the Bills Facebook page ...
  16. Generally no. But in this case, for Brady 2.0, yes.
  17. Come on, Lets circle the wagons and lead the charge and every other catch phrase you can think of and sell out every game before the season begins! Lets show the team what fan support is really like! And at the same time guarantee I can watch them all on TV
  18. This attitude puzzles me, and you aren't the only one to express it. So if they go 8-8 or worse they are out ... without the slightest freaking clue if there would be anyone better available or willing to coach in Buffalo. So should they shitcan Gailey and bring back Jauron?
  19. Only a 97????? Madden hates Buffalo!
  20. I believe that traditionally teams do more than a "little" game planning for the dress rehearsal. They try to make it as close as possible to a regular season game including having the starters play the beginning of the 3rd quarter (restart after the halftime break). I'm sure Gailey won't engage his mega-mind plan for the season until opening day, but we should see them prepared and not looking like they are running drills in practice like we have been seeing.
  21. Just got the text from the Bills.
  22. Here here! And that is about the best thing you could say about his post.
  23. The game this Saturday should show everyone a lot. The Steelers looked pretty sound against the Colts. This upcoming dress rehersal game should go a long way to showing just what the Bills have this season, particularly on offense. There should be no "no game planning" or "vanilla" type excuses available come Sunday morning. We will see what we will see.
  24. A couple posts in another thread prompted this poll. If, in your opinion, bad calls from replacement refs cost the Bills a couple games the first couple weeks of the season, would you stop going to and/or stop watching the games on TV until the regular refs returned to work?
  25. I think most people "feel" ChaNix are the better duo. Ultimately however, the only measure than means anything is the record. And to this point at least, ChaNix have failed to live up to the lofty record of their predecessors. This should be the year that starts to change.
