  1. Reminds me of when Jerry Jones had a post draft interview and the board had EJ as a fourth round grade. Turns out he was right.
  2. players have only been the cover since 2000. so no one has repeated
  3. Probably 2 months from finding out, usually mid June. But I was thinking that obviously Josh is a candidate. Mahomes, Brady and Jackson have the last 3. I think it would have to be Rogers as he hasn't had one (maybe a picture of him on Jeopardy). Derrick Henry could be another choice as it hasn't been a non QB in a few years. Other thoughts on who is out there? Adams, Hill? Aaron Donald?
  4. I know there is the other thread but for those who have season tickets: Asked if refunds were available for those who wish not to comply. Got this response. " As we did last year, we will continue to cooperate and comply with all New York State and local government regulations regarding our sporting events. There is no official vaccination policy in place at this time. We will communicate any attendance requirements to Season Ticket Members if there are any official policy changes.

  6. You don't necessarily need a pay raise to incentivize the player. converting to singing bonus guarantees the money for the player and they see value in that. However, I would expect a pay raise if they do it to reward the season he just had
  7. There won't be earlier December games because of the deal with college football. Tv partners espn, fox and cbs don't want that as they pay huge money for college games and I think there is something in the anti trust agreement that prevents it
  8. ah, I missed this part of the calculation I had read somewhere (Chris Simms maybe?) that this would be expected compensation.
  9. If I am them, I'm calling Detroit. Send Watson out of the AFC and get Stafford, pick 7 and 2022 1st. I think this is fair value given Watson's skill and age. Then I'm flipping Stafford and a 4th to Indy for Eason plus 2021 and 2022 firsts. This gives Houston 5 first round picks in the next two years (plus what they get for Watt) Eason as a potential prospect they can start this year and if he isn't good a path to tank for the first overall pick. This seemed reasonable to me. Curious if anyone things I'm completely off base
  10. Per PFF highest grade for a guard after four weeks (since '06): 2020 Wyatt Teller - 94.1 2013 Evan Mathis - 93.9 2016 Zack Martin - 93.6 2016 Justin Pugh - 93.3
  11. I thought this was interesting tidbit from the ESPN power rankings. I would think one of the AFC North teams would be one. Obviously only two weeks into the season, we don't know a lot of these teams yet. https://tv5.espn.com/nfl/fpi Second Hardest per Tankathon http://www.tankathon.com/nfl/remaining_schedule_strength
  12. Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face
  13. basically the Tunsil and future Ramsey deal inflating the market for dawkins and white
  14. From what I've read on the NCAA, if all campuses are not open, they will not proceed with sports. Possible football season in the spring.
  15. A horseshoe takes between 6 to 8 nails to attached to a hoof.
  16. A few thoughts as I think about how to play the upcoming season. 1. If there is a shortened/limited training camp I am going to hammer under's early in the season. Defense is always ahead of offense in training camp. 2. I'll play against any new coaches/coordinators early and often 3. Going to prioritize older rosters, figure the vets are going to learn faster and possibly know how to come in more prepared physically 4. probably will lay off all pre season win total bets Any other thoughts?
  17. They positioned the draft for the first week of Nielson Sweeps ratings for the spring, this is important for driving advertising dollars. Which is why it made the move several years ago. I bet it has to do with physicals more than anything else from the GM side. Wasting an early pick on a bum knee sucks (insert Willis McGahee joke here)
  18. That line seems right. Had an easy schedule this year, have a much taller task this year, even with the team seemingly ready to take one more step forward. I don't see any value in betting it this year like last years number. Pass
  19. Got to be in the sin bin next week. Was it good? Tips or lessons learned?
  20. All this does is eliminate people jumping off of buses onto tables. Still drink on the way to the game, all morning until game time. They are just moving the masses to another location.
  21. what you don't like Randall Cobb, Kelvin Benjamin, Golden Tate, Larry Fitzgerald, Devin Funchess, the last name is almost a guarantee.
  22. I'm throwing a late round pick to Detriot for ameer abdullah he's healthy now and still has good upside
