  1. just saw this on twitter, not sure what it means https://twitter.com/#!/RussBrandon Always great to add talent to the #Bills org. … Tune into @WGR550 (or Bills mobile app) at 4:30 for more info.
  2. exactly, the question was about Gilmoure directly, he said he didn't know the guys skill sets or what they did in college.
  3. Was driving home yesterday and Kyle was on moving the chains. Here is what I can pull together from memory. Mentioned he hit more home runs in batting practice than his teammates Said foot is ahead of schedule. he talked about the bone spur and it had ripped up the Achilles through friction. The doctors told him it is 7-9 if the fix it or a year if he lets it pop, so he and team elected for surgery. He went on to say that it was the same procedure that Merriman had. Mentioned that Merriman said he felt really good as well. In terms of installation, said they were just one day in, but he is going to play for 3 technique (which means Dareus is on the nose). He said in obvious passing downs we'll play the right side and Dareus the left. Thinks there will be times on passing downs that he and Dareus will both line up next to the center to force the double team inside and free up the ends. Mentioned Sheppard a bit in terms of hoping for his development to run and hit. When asked about the draft class he said he barley knows who they drafted, with exception of Brooks from LSU because the have the same agent. He is disappointed that the Toronto game is a December game as he would rather play outside in bad weather. Stayed on the company line with regards to regionalizing the franchise. Went on to say that he loves playing in Buffalo weather and could never return to the heat of Baton Rouge Louisiana
  4. One major factor that is being missed is Pittsburgh has a strong corporate backing compared to Buffalo. Buffalo is very, very light in corporate dollars with zero major corporate headquarters. Corporate dollars matters when it comes to selling boxes and suites at a higher dollar value. Granted, even if we did, Ralph still wouldn't sell stadium naming rights.
  5. Nice pull..... link below for those of you who are too young to know http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fvTxv46ano
  6. lot 5 allows you to park anywhere and traffic was horrific until ~10:30. no traffic into lot 2 (only one I went and looked at). If you can get a few of your group to come in together hit lot 2. Otherwise, drive 5 is park anywhere and it was a zoo, but a lot of fun, get there early.
  7. Now that my lot is gone Disney, I'm exploring other options. What's the general experience at ECC? Does it open early? Are they cool? Hard to get out? Anything of note? Thanks for the responses and Go Bills
  8. Trent did look terrible. He and Rob Johnson will both end their carreers going from Bills starter to Raiders 3rd string to out of the NFL. On a separate note, Joquie Bell looked great (spelling may be off on Joquie). Hope he catches on, I liked him here as a hero amongst 3rd string pre-seasoner's.
  9. If you want real football coverage, get SiriusXM. Moving the Chains from 3-7, is the best show going.
  10. Another Tar Heal.....someone fell in love with Butch Davis's guys
  11. Avoid 90 by getting down to route 5 into the city. Find your way to the 33, you'll avoid the most traffic that way.
  12. I had the opportunity to speak with Pat Kirwin and Jim Miller last night on moving the chains on Sirius. I brought up the same scenario. I really like this because the run on QB's mean more 1st round Defensive talent falls to us in the 2nd round. They said he is a 4th round grade. Worse case scenario is we turn him into a WR. I'm all for Taylor in the 4th.
  13. I bet you've been waiting all off season to say that
  14. You assume that there is a franchise QB other than Luck next year. They don't come around that often. Not saying there is one here, I'm not qualified to make that call. But I do no that you can't assume there will be one there next year either.
  15. I was with your line of thinking until yesterday. I was able to talk to Jim Miller on Sirius NFL radio. His opinion is that Bills brass thinks Gabbert does not bring anything more the Fitz. Arm strength, intelligence, mobility. He thinks that is why they'll wait on QB. I'm now thinking D the first few rounds and grab Tyrod Tayler out of VT in the later rounds.
  16. Personally I'm ok if this is the 3rd overall pick. But want him or not, this is interesting. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=lc-carpenter_memory_improves_gabbert_stock_041911
  17. Rothlisburger won a superbowl behind a bad O line. Manning gets it done. It's a QB driven league, you have to have a franchise QB to win in this league. If the QB is there you take him. You can get tackles in mid rounds, not the case with QB. Accurate, quick decision making takes the pressure off of the O line.
  18. Also, all time to develop players may be limited due to no training camp. This is why I'm all Miller all the way for #3, safe and can adapt quicker than D line and QB
  19. With the lockout/antitrust suit in full swing, we are more than likely going to have a court ordered season using 2010 rules just like it happened last time. That takes away any rookie salary cap and means the Bills will be paying huge bucks to the #3 guy. That also means that trading down is almost impossible as no franchise wants that kind of gauranteed money as a liability. McCoy last year got $35M G jack last year. It all boils down to we're stuck at #3 and we're paying a lot and can't miss. That's why we need to go with the safest pick possible. On another note, no salary cap or salary floor next year either if they don't reach a deal.
  20. sorry, that is me missing the translation, not Miller. As I said, going off my memory
