I thought Dorsey was doing OK until that 3rd and short and 4th and short. You had so much success under center running last week why not just go with that?

McD’s defense has given up zero points and scored 6 this game and only gave up 10 last week. Josh is amazing but It isn’t like there haven’t been other aspects of the team that have been good. Bills have also boasted a very good ST unit year after year.

Yes the outcome was an effective punt but generally speaking you are more likely to return an INT longer than a punt (esp a punt closer to mid field) a check down and punt is better

Close to FG range now just need to play smart and be complementary to the defense

Branford with great open field tackling. Offense needs to just get a field goal and eat some clock. Just don’t turn the ball over and play smart. INT is not as good as a punt. Yes the outcome was basically a solid punt but INTs are much easier to be returned by the defense as it is unexpected and the offensive players are not good tacklers. Josh taking a shot there is not tragic but he was better off checking down or throwing away.

I don’t like the narrative that INT’s are like punts when they occur deep (as punts are designed to be tackled by the defense as opposed to an Int whose not expected) but that INT was basically a punt in terms of the outcome.

What a huge turnover! Tre has looked a lot better this season. Not only does that keep the Commanders off the board but that chewed up nearly five minutes of time to come up empty and give the Bills the ball

Said this in the game day first half thread but I have not seen a player go from punch line whipping boy to fan favorite in such a short period of time. I must admit I didn’t like the pick last season when they made it (I thought they could have gotten him later and taken Parham the guard) but the revelation he has become is only made stronger by the fact that they are getting a comp pick for the player he is effectively replacing

First three drives are going to be crucial to the game. Defense has to get the ball back to the offense and the offense has to score to go up “three possessions” then with one more defensive stop they can go into a four minute offense.
