Reading the responses it is middle of the road to believe: Josh Allen will be able to throw all over the Fins defense Jjackson did and Allen is a better QB. The Fins OL can be beaten by our veteran and consistent pressure. They upgraded but not everything in the off-season helped their O. Tua can't play 4Q worth of quality football. This means if he only plays 2Q at a high level it's hard to imagine more than 14 pts in a Q. -no team scored more than 17 on us last year in 1 Q. ---TB, Pitt, and someone else did... We lost those games. Indy only got to 14 in a Q So scoring 3 TD's in a Q means we sunk to a significant level and I just can't see it. 2 Q of the game has 6 possessions at best for either team - I can't see the Bills allowing more than 2 tuddies in a Q. We are capable of scoring twice every quarter. We can control the ball and clock, and run without Josh being the hero. Average game has no more than 18 possessions. If we can score on 1/3 of those with TD's that's 21 points... I think we need 24 to beat them.

Amazing how little is understood by most fans. I get the disconnect between all of these rebrands of terms, and the philosophical aspects of offense. There are basically only 3 offenses, which is hard to understand. There are only so many effective NFL defenses, too.

So I am playing both off of the LOS. I am playing him outside shoulder and Benford head over. If I am switching sides I put Benford paired with Johnson to zone cover half the field. It has worked before. Outside and deeper we have Elam play with his smarts and play that zone coming off of man. As pointed out zone eventually becomes man coverage. But man becomes zone when you are left without a target. This is where, if I am Miami I bring Hill across all day and let Geiseki go to the abandoned spot Elam tends to give up in zone coverage. It's a tight window but Tuglova has shown he is capable right now. ***** I am fragmented here.... With Milano and Edmunds I am letting them read and react with Edmunds finding the ball cleanly. He's been doing that. If he gets sucked up by OL I will be concerned. I rush Milano early in the game, tooo. I want to show a new look, a new wrinkle. Something Tugalova doesn't know yet, and I don't disguise it. I do it as a presnap read where it's clear Milano is coming and let him get hit. With Poyer behind all of this able to see the play he will find and dedicate his time to Waddle and whatever other scrub they throw out there. this is what i am thinking. use LB's against our interion OL who are not the skillset to stop aggressive LB's who can move and hustle. i will try to get some time to put some info in this post if i think about it. but i wouldn't care about the run game, i would not care about josh running the ball right now. i'd sell out in pass coverage and if josh runs then he runs - i wasn't going to stop him anyway. i'll just use that LB to put licks on him every time i can.

My wife commented at halftime why they walk beside each other in the tunnel. I never thought about it until she mentioned it. But it made me realize how much I like our stadium. Old fashioned throwback, giant high school stadium. The massive tunnel, fans right at you... It's great.
