  1. He had a mental illness that may or may not have been in conjunction with his injuries playing. Further, they've done studies in people post mortem to discover non athletes have CTE. Roughly 6% per this study, though other articles claim slightly lower or higher 6% is generally the average. Athletes were as high as 9% across the board with a few studies amassing 60-65% of football players having some level of cte. I don't Google this stuff. I seek peer reviewed articles on Google scholar. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2019/06/190620153548.htm
  2. I want Lofton and Johnson the former Dallas FB. With tasker in sidelines.
  3. An RB cannot play w a broken thumb, eh?
  4. I'll take your word for it and believe it. We dont bend much on defense once we call a play. We rely on our setup and look pre snap to do enough.
  5. you have to diagnose the lineup of the offense and make sure we have matching schemes in 10 seconds. when is the last time you saw Edmunds call a timeout when he saw the offense? He doesn't do that, not since he was a rookie. he studies enough that he doesn't face surprises. think of other teams or games you watch on tv. it's not uncommon to see the mlb call a TO when they can't read the offense. the next time you're watching the game and when the offense lines up - in 5 seconds diagnose which coverage we are (cover 0,1,2,etc) and determine if we have a 3 down lineman front, which side is strong side and if we need zone or man based on what the offense is doing and who lines up where. it's not easy. i've only seen a couple of other fans able to do this in a timely manner. and those fans are like Romo used to be and telegraph the play. in a general game when i am in person, in good viewing i can diagnose at least half of the plays pre snap. the houston playoff game was super fun because it was so easy with how basic our offense was i called two entire series pre snap.
  6. It's very difficult because it's not just a. Signal call it is getting it timely and matching the lineup. You have about 10 seconds to read and announce the play. This is important because the offense can lineup quick. Once called you must make sure the players are in position, the right gap, etc.
  7. we have been spoiled by average to above average play at linebacker for many, many years. while mcdermott and co. can coach a player up to be successful, especially at LB, edmunds is a very important piece of this defense. that everyone outside of buffalo has such respect for him is telling. if we lose frazier and need to fill the most important part of our defense with a rookie who calls the signals then we are in trouble. i don't know if we can afford poyer and edmunds but we need to do our best. me thinks poyer gets signed soon. also, i seem to remember a few times milano called plays without edmunds playing. it didn't go well, it seemed to stress him out.
  8. There is room in bed for 2 more... 🍍 That is the best take i consider. But if the fins get blown out I think there is truth to pressure and stories having McDaniel on the hot seat. Does he play Tua to save his own skin or simply tell him that he is more important next year than the 3 road playoffs games to follow if they did win?
  9. Original lemonade is still king. It's so awful and became an acquired taste to anyone who did athletics pre 90.
  10. Opinions. They're like cactuses. They grow in the desert and have lots of water in them. Have a goodnight, babe.

  14. Uh. I have absolutely no ***** idea what you're talking about here in relevance to what I'm saying I can only guess 6ou take cause with the state of North Carolina? I'm sorry simple bob. This isn't the place nor am I the crowd to discuss this with.
  15. No no no. They're supposed to go out there and be sympathetic. Give him a hug. Some crayons. They can't treat a guy as an equal when he has chosen to play a violent game and been cleared by experts! We need to think of his future for him so he doesn't have to acknowledge any responsibility!!!!! You're not saying the Bills need to target him with a bounty. You're simply saying they need to take advantage of the situation. No different if an OT had a bad ankle or a CB had bad ribs. The NFL isn't for p*ssies. No. Tua taking the field advocates that. Responsibility is an individual choice.
  16. makes a lot of sense. to celebrate poyer gave up drinking so gatorade it is. poyer extension. i bet it is this.
  17. If dude was in his first 5-6 years maybe. But I think he will be fine. He can be coaching when he retires if he wants.

  20. I got so many jokes here and the score makes it so fun. but the problem is @Coach Tuesdaydoesn't eat meat.
  21. I never understood why people thought he was liked. To go from being a union toeing guy and always at the forefront of player issues to now being on the opposite side playing like he has compassion? Dudes a fraud and it shows now.
