  1. 5 of 6 got first downs geary noted later
  2. To be fairrrrrr If many of us were playing we would have an entire different viewpoint. Judging us because we are fanatics of a team who poston a board is a bit much. The theme that many of us will be here in 20 years when Josh has moved on with his life is important to remember. We are fans for life, beyond that of a players career
  3. Without entering any statements which could bias a rather simple pole, please vote:
  4. you've seen something different than i have seen. i have seen him pushed around and punished by OL.
  5. good for the individul kincaid. but why did our OC only choose to feature him on these plays? why wait until now? why is it that dorsey seems to fixate on doing one thing and then revert to running cook? is it mcd calling for this? is there something going on? why did we try to control the tempo of the game and choose to run it repeatedly with cook when down and needing points? back on point - it is great we featured kincaid early but josh was not taking chances down field on other opportunities and missed at least two deeper shots (one to diggs, and one to davis) that a qb of his calibre must make. these passes went to kincaid each and every time for some reason and i want to know why? why do we only focus one week on a specific idea? it makes us predictable and everything is telegraphed. it is beating us. the video above isn't the entire gameplan or the strategy of the game which is why things like this are dangerous. erik turner and his team can be downright irresponsible.
  6. it'd have been nice to be cheap and get Julio Jones, too. Suh can't be that expensive.
  7. matakovich is a decent lb compared to these guys.
  8. watchign williams he can't tackle but more importantly it seems that he goes freelance and does his own thing - kiko alonso style. i don't think he's maintaining his responsibilities, performing his assignments, and then getting pushed around. i'm amazed that an undersized LB who many thought did not play powerful or big enough is being handled this way.
  9. oof that does hurt. we could have stayed where we were and got him. or even traded back to do it. in defense of history, he's about their only threat downfield.
  10. name a rookie tight end who elevated his team in their rookie year? allen's history of small school qb taking his team to greatness would not be a first.
  11. in a few years more will come out about this situation. i've already said all there is about it that i learned but it was a near mutiny in the locker room leading to fights and frustration that stuck with us. a straw that broke the camels back was when he ditched the ST Coordinator as a fall guy.
  12. only a homer was excited for Harty or Sherfield. Kincaid, as a rookie TE, has history against him. Shakir and Davis need to be more, because those first 3 ain't. Murray has been a great pickup.
  13. well done
  14. it's our scheme. it's the influence of McD. I cannot believe it is anything else but - to control the ball, keep defensive exposure down, and just be this balanced fully leveraged team. in doing so we are putting murray out wide, and allen running for his life. allen can survive running for his life - he has and succeeded. we did not call plays down field.
  15. We aren't a complementary team. We are a team who scores more points than the opponents.
  16. I was replying with a 30k view not just the missed tackles. Tackles are taught preseason. Someone we all knew told me stories about Rex and what they did.
  17. He put Dorian Williams out there last week and this week and had to yank him. He thought he had enough talent there with him and did not. Rookie was benched twice because he is just not playing well and undisciplined to his assignments and/then swallowed up on blockage. His judgement of linebackers is *****. It was last year when he thought we had the right guys with the likes of Spector, Bernard, Dobson, Ginger behind Milano and Edmunds. He royally ***** up when it came time to figure it out he had to go back to ol' faithful: Klein. Same thing this year. I know he's not necessarily a starter anymore but we know his ceiling and his floor and he's safe so it's ok to have that. At the DL position he runs guys out of gas like in London by running high energy schemes & illusions to be effective. This high octane defense can't survive on a thin depth chart He had Von Miller playing a pitch count against a very talented and underrated Jags team on dangerous turf vs having anyone else at depth to contribute throughout the game when it would be obvious the situation is unique and will be a challenge due to time zones. His defensive backfield is compromised of Hyde and Poyer. Both in their last lights. Instead of being a unique mind or innovative like Dick Lebeau, Wade Phillips, Jim Schwartz, Anuroma, or a several other DC's he keeps using these two because they are the only ones capable of grasping his concepts. A better DC should have worked in Rapp today to help shut down the run as hybrid LB/S. Further his schemes isolate his corners too much and put the timing of the defense as the biggest factor on defense. It used to be that teams couldn't survive 4 seconds with us. Now they can beat us in less than 2. It's coaching on defense that is an issue. The scheme is exposed, the players are older, the system is not working Rex Ryan binge drinking the night before the last few games is as close as I know of... Having staff having to help them recover in the morning, etc. Was amazing.
  18. Based on his whole schtick of accountability and the gimmick of how he pretends he is: absolutely. The dude has fired people.when he has failed. He's a clown.
  19. I wish I had the time to figure out our search function to go back through the hype in a few threads we had bringing these two JAGs here. I guess recency bias it just doesn't seem that way. 🤯
  20. That'd be awesome. Id love to trade his ass there.
  21. 100% agree Josh took a few plays to find comfort and make a good read to place the ball well. He's getting too much pressure and not being given much. It happened on the play to Morris for the TD. Josh just placed it perfectly. He is not getting and maybe not giving himself enough time. Especially when we have Davis who needs to run the route deep and Diggs when on the outside needs his route to be crisp to lose a defender in 3 second.
  22. Kincaid is out there because Sherfield is ST player who can be the 4th or 5th WR, Harty isn't what we paid for and can't beat Shakir who hasn't been given many chances at WR3. Kincaid is better as our 3rd or 4th down field target than anyone else. Cook maybe as good but that's arguable..
  23. Why is an RB out there running that rub route anyway? 🤯
  24. Bingo. And someone here was funny and claimed it would be wasted because Morse was playing great. The idea of having him play a season or two at guard was lost on them. Wood did it and it worked out fine. The starting OL should almost always be the 5 most talented lineman regardless of position.
  25. So giving this some thought. Not because of anything else than others already know but you don't. Who's going to get them focused, hold them accountable, and maintain discipline? It sure isn't McChump who after saying he takes all accountability the last few seasons fires people as scape goats. I'm hoping this team can overcome him to win a few but also thinking about the draft. If we ain't first, we are last.
