See my quote above That is a very specific lie. Lies in stories are either completely fabricated or too specific with a manufactured backstory. That passes my sniff test of truth but the accuracy could always be off - as a joke. McChump could have said in a joking manner that his OL needs to be tough and not wearing Jordans. They should be wearing cowboy boots, and carharrts, and drive f650's, and dip Redman... All in a analogic metaphor.

Greenberg - A Jets Fan - Pushing Back Against The Allen Hate
boyst replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
Eli was a very good QB. Among the top 5 in his era over shadowed by Brady, Peyton, and others. I think he had more talent then Brees, Ryan, Rodgers, and many others. He and Rivers do not get enough respect for how talented they were because of the bad teams they were on but both elevated their teams. They went all in to support him. The defense played insanely good. They squeezed out lucky games. They were overrated. -

the nuanced difference between cam and lamar is magnificent. especially on a pure passing talent level. newton was able to get away with many things because of olsen and smith being great targets for him while lamar in his prime and at times this year has been finding windows that newton never could. i hate that both of these guys are lumped in the same pot because ...[insert comment here]... because it's not fair. they're quite a bit different. -
i wish there was a way to hide all other posts but your responses. they are refreshing bursts of air in otherwise dismal and dark moments.

Von Miller faces arrest in domestic violence case in Dallas
boyst replied to ArdmoreRyno's topic in The Stadium Wall
could it have been some bedroom fun time results from the night before? could it be she fell in the shower? we know less than we know. do i think von miller is a good guy? i don't have much to base it on or care to judge. would i let him hang out with my wife or family? no. the only reason i want him gone is because like someone else said. i cheer for this team because of it the team i cheer for. i don't care who plays as long as they play well enough to justify their role. he doesn't. he has always been a character i have not liked much. and regarding his past. maybe he choses unstable women who fly off the handle and get physical with him and all he can do is physically get them away/off of him. these women call 911 and cause drama. maybe it's just he is a bad judge of character? i just can't buy into getting ahead of due process but think this guy is a attention hoor clowny diva. -

it's not a fact until proven so. it's an accusation until that point. -

If asked if this is out of character "Von is a tremendous player and contributes a lot to the organization and community." If pressed there are plenty of outs. If not asked, you don't bring up his character when it's already been in jeopardy. -

Commenting that this is out of character for Beane. It's not and history is clear. Beane mentioning the character of Miller was a PR gaffe. -

Beane just didn't need to say that. He's smarter than to make that gaffe. But he did. So odd -

Beans runs a business in a league that has equal or greater offenders on every team. His lack of reaction based on accusations is totally fine business wise. Ethics and morality are often less important in the business world when it comes to issues like this. -

i am going to coin the term positionism. it's a form of a radiational ism but about the position you play. because von is a linebacker not a punter he gets special treatment. we already have terms for the treatment of classes of wealth and all other things. we need to sew more division amongst everyone and we need to now! #stoppositionism -

it won't phase his HOF election 1 bit, as far as being a GM we have to see how he handles himself in the public eye the next 5-10 years. -
Calling it now: Bills are going to at least reach the AFCCG
boyst replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
If even I can see it happening than everyone should. I have 100% belief that this team can lead itself to win out and McDermott cannlt do enough to get in the way. Like a blind squirrel, he can find 5 nuts. -

Genocide in many regions. I'm not going to do your homework for you. You Godwin'd. You lose. You are awarded no points No idea what YMMV means, I'm not a zoomer.

Teams we would have to go through on a tier: Concerned playing at: KC - never won a playoff game there Baltimore - tough place to travel to beyond the fans Cincinnati - recent history hasn't been kind here Little concerned: Miami - f the fish Cleveland - hostile and loud Pittsburgh - meh Not at all concerned: Jacksonville - yawn Denver - not impressed Indianapolis - not a football town Houston - not a football town
