i worded my statement correctly. also, smart farmers don't directly engage birds of prey. they use other guardian animals to do it for them: donkeys, dogs, and cats. -

Red tail hawks kill chickens, ewes, kids, and other small animals. They're among the worst because they come in quick and devour as much as they can in 30 seconds or less, sometimes the animal is still alive before they leave it. They don't stay long because they're smaller and more likely to be attacked. Hawks and eagles will small livestock at will. Crows and vultures will also attack dormant animals; fresh calves, kids, ewes, foals, and others that maybe weak rising up I have no problem killing animals that pose a threat but haven't killed a dog in 10+ years. -

You make a livelihood with animals and dogs attack your livestock... What do you do? Animal control won't take dogs, bother setting up to get them or anything. You live in a rural area and have small kids and family outside and dogs are seen wandering and being aggressive? What do you do? You jump to conclusions thinking I am soft hearted. But many no kill shelters are not so great. Miserable is realizing that you are sitting there letting animals take a buffet of animals you're supposed to protect. Miserable is saying that nature just made it so and therefore the foxes, coyotes, dogs, hawks, and racoons have to survive. I'm not proud of any animal I've put down for purposes beyond food usage and there have been many. I mean, it tracks. You're a liberal so grasping that there are hard choices to make in life is not an easy thing to do when you let others do it for you. Pigs are like a 3 yr old but would kill you and eat you at the drop of hat. Boar goats will kill you for nothing, just ram you over and over, trampling you in the way. Donkeys and horses will only kick you in defense or startled, for the most part. Bulls can get angry and charge after you but it's more like you being pissed at a mini poodle and doing anything more than pushing it away. The bull doesn't care about you unless you make it. Alpacas and llama are mean as *****. Ostrich and emus are very deadly. Cassowaries are extremely dangerous. Roosters will ***** you up because they're mean, stupid or both. -

It's no different than cows, chickens, pigs, or such. Pigs are smarter than dogs, too. Donkeys are arguably smarter, too. -

Right, and sadly people from such great states as NY, CA, and all of the coastal parts of NE have had their mind blown. I bet if you went to the middle of Nebraska and announced that when you left your $3.4mm penthouse in NYC there was a homeless man taking a ***** in the sidewalk they'd think it was just as insane as someone euthanizing a feral dog. I mean, seriously? Hundreds of dogs are euthanized every minute across the country but this 1 dog... Because Noem is (probably?) a Republican it is an issue? My God the mind virus that is the human brain of the American people is so weird. -

she only has to resonate with her community. in my community i would bet more people have shot a dog than not shot a dog. and most of them have shot more than 1. some in the dozens. -

he was a dirty player. under the guise of intensity and being a hard hitter the guy went beyond the level of acceptability when it comes to sportsmanship.

Out of curiousity I looked up all of the comp picks in the 2024 draft. 3rd Round 96. Jaguars: Jarrian Jones, CB, Florida State 97. Bengals: McKinnley Jackson, DT, Texas A&M 98. Steelers (via Phi): Payton Wilson, LB, NC State 99. Rams: Kamren Kinchens, S, Miami 100. Commanders (via SF): Luke McCaffrey, WR, Rice 4th round 133. Chiefs (via Buf): Jaden Hicks, S, Washington State 134. Jets (via Bal): Braelon Allen, RB, Wisconsin 135. 49ers: Jacob Cowing, WR, Arizona 5th round 168. Bills (via NO, GB) : Javon Solomon, EDGE, Troy 169. Packers: Kitan Oladapo, S, Oregon State 170. Saints: Bub Means, WR, Pittsburgh 171. Jets (via Phi): Jordan Travis, QB, Florida State 172. Eagles: Trevor Keegan, OG, Michigan 173. Jets (via KF via SF): Isaiah Davis, RB, South Dakota State 174. Cowboys: Caelen Carson, CB, Wake Forest 175. Saints: Jaylan Ford, LB, Texas 176. Jets (via SF): Qwan'tez Stiggers, CB, Toronto Argonauts 6th Round 209. Rams: Joshua Karty, PK, Stanford 210. Lions (via Phi): Christian Mahogany, OG, Boston College 211. Chiefs (via SF): Kamal Hadden, CB, Tennessee 212. Jaguars: Cam Little, PK, Arkansas 213. Rams: Jordan Whittington, WR, Texas 214. Bengals: Cedric Johnson, EDGE, Ole Miss 215. 49ers: Jarrett Kingston, OG, USC 216. Cowboys: Ryan Flournoy, WR, SE Missouri State 217. Rams: Beaux Limmer, C, Arkansas 218. Ravens (via NYJ: Devin Leary, QB, Kentucky 219. Bills (via GB): Daequan Hardy, CB, Penn State 220. Buccaneers: Elijah Klein, OG, UTEP 7th Round 253. Chargers: Cornelius Johnson, WR, Michigan 254. Rams: KT Leveston, OG, Penn State 255. Packers: Kalen King, CB, Penn State 256. Broncos (via NYJ): Nick Gargiulo, C, South Carolina 257. Jets: Jaylen Key, S, Alabama By my math that is 38 Comp picks and 13 of them traded; 1/3 of comp picks were traded. It will be interesting to see who, if any, of these players have a successful career.

Jacksonville releases Zay Jones. Homecoming?
boyst replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
i hate to say it but Jones would fit with experience and ability but he is probably too expensive for his worth. -

Not just money wise. The allocation needs to be in other places. -
