Panthers Fire GM Dave Gettleman

Because he doesn't realize the Mason Dixon line is the southern border of PA and generally accepted as the dividing line of the north and south. -

That's a load of ****. I live in SC. I am also from western NY originally and can tell you that the western NY is far more racist than SC. Your statement is #FakeNews, and Buffalo is a lot like NYC and California I can see. -

What is really needed is a positional cap before QB salaries reach 30mil a season. They take up a disproportionate share of the cap and don't allow a team to keep it's players together. The exception is Brady and now Carr who have put team first. I guarantee that only 64 players vote against it. That may be a reasonable trade off for a few more percent. -
I just don't understand why many of you say this. I don't think the draft was a weak point for him. I believe he did a good job. I think the problem was coaching and having a vision and his medical staff. I see many of the players he drafted or traded for as solid to good players here or else where. Although he can't be given full-credit or blame we start in 2013, R. Woods 2nd, Kiko Alonso 2nd, M. Goodwin 3rd (Health), D. Hopkins 6 (Just not with us), C.Gragg 7 ( has a bright future IMO just not with us). 2014, S.Watkins 1(x2+) (Health, otherwise TOP 10WR,TOP5 IMO), Kudjo 2 (Health), P. Brown 3, R. Cockrell 4, (Solid starter Just not for us), S. Henderson 7 (Health). 2015, (NONE) 1, R. Darby 2, J. Miller 3, (NONE) 4, Kar. Williams 5 (Drug and food Addict possibly linked together). Unlike many of you, 2016- TBD (???????). 2017-TBD (??????). IMO, these players met or exceeded draft position, or would have if not for injuries/medical/psychological which I place on training/medical staff as Whaley is not a health professional. There is also 1 TBD guy D. Lewis but im not holding my breath as I think his issues are mental. I believe he did well with trades as well. The last time we had a draft like you want to see was 2001, those drafts are not common. Remember the GMs between Butler and Whaley. Donahoe had 1 great draft and one good draft. I think firing Whaley was a mistake. Just like firing Bill Polian and John Butler, I also believe Whaley was doing a better job than Butler. Welcome to our new ownership Wilson 2.0. That's why Brady was drafted in the 6th and Wilson in the 3rd, and Favre and Brees in the 2nd, Montana in the 3rd.

Whatever you are smoking I would like to try it. Perhaps he may want some as well.

Are we going with realistic or just a surprise. I have seen Jerry Hughes and Preston Brown. Who will fill their spots. Maybe Tyrod Taylor and Sammy as well as Zay Jones along with McCoy and J. Williams will be cut as well. Eric Wood is not likely but also not impossible and would be a legitimate surprise cut but I doubt it.

LeSean Mccoy number 27 on nfl top 100
manbeast replied to Gunsgoodtime's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
no not true at all we draft great players and find good ones on the waiver wire just ask the pats and steelers our problem has been coaching and a GM that couldn't get along with the coaches. But he was as good as it gets at evaluating talent which will be clear if this staff is as good as i believe they are. And I think credit should go to Rex for this given the fact that all 4 of our Dline were top 100 before his arrival. Eric moulds and marshawn lynch say hello -
Make the trade so he doesn't have a choice if 5th rounder or less.

Not needed a top corner in McDermott D is a myth
manbeast replied to BuffaloBud420's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If healthy there is not 1 CB in the league who can lock him down. But can he stay healthy? Also their #1 CB Butler will be covering our #1 WR. -

I would argue that our other remaining CBs are far superior to anything that Carolina has And McDermott's D requires CBs that tackle. Gilmore was always suspect in this area. It may have just been contractually related inability to tackle though. -
Nate Peterman - weak arm? I don't think so!

Or it shows that your final say is not as absolute as you would like to believe. You hate those pesky facts don't you. It is possible that he could have a great career and your not qualified to say he will never... -

Joe Montana didn't have a "strong arm" either. I am actually optimistic about the guy. But I'm no scout or QB evaluater. -

"Poor build, very skinny and narrow, lacks mobility and the ability to avoid the rush, lacks a really strong arm." Who is this? -
Jeremy Maclin (Agrees to 2 year deal with Ravens)
manbeast replied to BillsDiehard's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The reality is that when healthy he is better than ODBJ and at the least a top 5 WR and that comes from outside non-Bills fan perspective. It's amazing how little people realize about the the level of some of the talent on this team. Hopefully we finally have a good all around coaching staff and this becomes clear. The problem with our GM was not the talent he picked but his ability to work with his coaching staff as a team. -

Could you please name these half dozen players because I can't think of 6.

There are two types of Bills fans @ Two Bills Drive
manbeast replied to ROONDOGG55's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We had a great scouting staff in my opinion. We just had a GM that couldn't get along with others but I believe the real problem is we went from one meddling owner to another. Until the team owners learn to keep their hands off and mouths shut we will struggle just like the Cowboys until Jerry Jones backed off. -
Are you crazy. A day 2 pick. If he proves he can stay healthy he is not going anywhere as in my opinion he is a top 5 WR when healthy.

What if Peterman is better than Mahomes??
manbeast replied to bisonbrigade's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I finally have a plan that will work to make Tyrod a better passer. We have to send him to prison and when he gets out we have a Reid disciple to work with him. Then we have our passing QB. -
Knowing what you know today about Kelly and Brady
manbeast replied to mead107's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I dont concider Brady the GOAT but the coach who shall not be named is the GOAT hands down. He has been cheating at a very high level for a long time.
