whoever wrote this is an a-s-s-h-o-l-e. i had that surgery, and you're specifically prohibited from strenuous activities for 6 weeks afterward. people do not return from this in 2-3 weeks. i could tell you more, but i know very few of you care. just trust me- this idiot does not know what he's talking about. my surgeon was one of the pioneers of this procedure here in the states- he was the same guy that did mcnabb. his recovery protocol called for only the very lightest therapy for SIX WEEKS.

just having a bit of fun. i haven't been tuning in since we hired gailey, but i must say i LIKED the show. i'm not bashing at all.

i know i am forgetting someone, but: JSP, Lori, BADOL, Dean, Jay Rosen, Mark, 89, Jack, Bob Lamb, R Rich, AiO Bill from NYC...people who were the heart and soul of this place before it went "global (or, if you prefer, "postal" ). also stevestojan (who can forget smartyjoneswinsthetriplecrown.com?), BF in Indiana, NJsue for making me laugh hard enough to pull an oblique. and Ice, because he's a kilted warrior and an assclown all at once

How badly do you hate the Patriots?
jester43 replied to Hossage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i still hate miami worse. -
no, WE don't suck. WE support this train wreck emotionally and financially through thick and thin. it's the owner who SUCKS and is unwilling to commit to doing anything about it. Say it with me: Ralph Wilson sucks.

what memories...i've posted this many times, but wtf...i was 10 rows up in the endzone looking right in fluties eyes when he got poleaxed on that last play. he had no chance. the bills did, however, waste several other great opportunities that could have kept us out of that position. ah well.. that day was the final day of a 3 day drunk that included maybe 8 hours sleep in total....we had been in tampa the say before watching penn st/kentucky and did new years there, plus the night before this game we were in south beach...wow i wish i had that kind of stamina now...

Rugby star gets interest from NFL teams
jester43 replied to pBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
this is rugby union: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45jqBbBjYDo cue it up at 3:20 for one of the greatest tries by the USA team ever. this is rugby league (that's what Inglis plays). it's like "rugby lite" to me. but it's flashier and trendier, i think, even though it's also been around for a very long time. rucks and scrums are basically non-existent in rugby league. it's a faster paced game, though. the scoring is different too: 4 pts for a try in league and 2 points for a conversion; 5 points for a try in union and 2 for a conversion. rugby league has 13 to a side, rugby union has 15. mind you i have never played the game...i just picked it up as a spectator sport 5 years ago and got hooked. Go The All Blacks! -
Rugby star gets interest from NFL teams
jester43 replied to pBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i know no one cares, but he plays "rugby league" which is different from (and inferior to, in my opinion)"rugby union." Different game, different rules, different number of players. it's really popular in oz but not as much in other countries. The union code is what is played on college campuses here in the u.s. anyway, i wish the guy luck. -
absolutely. i was in the endzone 10 rows up and i felt the shockwaves from that impact. too bad thurman couldn't have at least slowed him down. can't blame flutie for that. nor can you blame him for the 70 yard bomb that moulds caught and fumbled on the first play of the game. those are two plays that changed the outcome. either of them could have swung it our way. can't blame flutie for that loss any more than rob johnson for the tenne loss. (oh god, how did i get sucked into another rj/flutie vortex?)

the fact that flutie looks like a "stud" to you says a lot more about the way ralph wilson runs this franchise than it does about flutie.

O.J., Chuck Knox, Jim Kelly, ???
jester43 replied to John Gianelli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
ralph has thrown a truckload of **** up against the wall over the years...no harm in hoping a little bit of it will stick once again. don't hang your hat on it, but a miracle is no more or less likely today than it was then. the real test comes when things start going well and somebody at OBD actually gets hungry to win- can we go all the way before Ralph runs all the competent ones out of town and hands more power over to the remaining dullards? I vote no on that. -
Joe DeLamielleure and Jeff Nixon

why do you need to make a disclaimer? he's correct and that's it. don't be a victim of the right-wing media industrial complex. -
this is what i think will happen also. i also thought the caps would win the stanley cup.

Could Wang Save The Franchise??
jester43 replied to South Jersey Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i thought it couldn't get any funnier than having wood and levitre on the same line....now wang! are their any good prospects named tool or boner for nix to scout? -
Nix has a good plan and its coming together

i like your attitude- i wish i could fall in line with it. i still think it's horseshit we wasted the 9th pick on one of the few positions where we already have productive player. i hate the spiller pick and i think it will come back to haunt us. but hopefully these two kids we got tonight can play, because we need their help. -
I think Gailey said he wants a small waterbug player
jester43 replied to Steely Dan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives

Well, it's Autumn down here in New Zealand

What are you complaining about? Super 14 does it for me this time of year! I watched a game the other night from my old "home town (for 1 month)" of Mt. Maunganui. And test rugby is right around the corner! there are a lot of amazing old "classic" Bills games on youtube. A lot of sweet highlights from the 80 and 81 teams which were a lot of fun to watch. this should keep you busy: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_quer...+bills&aq=f cheers to you...someday we'll be down to visit! -
i think you can use it once and hate it, but probably not at that age... but really, why do need the guy fired for getting a little toot? i mean, it's a shame for him if he likes that garbage, but it's the moral equivalent of drinking, smoking weed, etc...NOT at all like steroids. i figure pissing your money and brain away on coke is it's own punishment. when he starts sucking at work they fire him.

The NFL is making a mechanics change with officials
jester43 replied to sullim4's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
fewer holding penalties and less chance of throwing up points at the end of the half.....sounds like a godsend for this team.. -
i don't care where they take him. if there's one thing i hate in real life, it's a bible-thumping proselytizing douche bag like tebow. but this ain't real life, it's football, and he's going to be the best and most successful qb in this class by far. he is not going to last until the 2nd round and i won't be upset at all if the bills take him at 9. besiedes, he can't suck any worse than our last 10 or so first-rounders.
