  1. i have not read this whole thread, but i presume someone informed you we had some good teams in the early 80s but as far as now is concerned, yeah, it is pretty bad. i wonder if ralph is even lucid enough to know or care? i'm betting he isn't.
  2. he's not an athlete of course, but did you guys know that Brian may of queen has a PhD in astrophysics? for real. That sort of blew my mind...
  3. i think they're trying to avoid getting him killed. not that it wasn't an utterly stupid pick to begin with.
  4. the tickets are selling so why should he care?
  5. i got news for you brother, they are already gone. ralph killed them. the team i grew up loving is gone and totally without hope of resurrection as long as he owns them. and clearly, even IF a purchaser surfaces after ralph's death who wants to keep the team here (i don't like the odds of that, either), we are guaranteed a bunch more of this bulcrap smallball that helped filter us to the bottom of the pile anyway. think golisano: you really think the sabres will win a cup while he is owner? the new bargaining aggreement will tilt the balance against us even further... it's over. hope is gone. 1-15 this year. awful forever after. do you get it yet?
  6. i said 1-15 and i am sticking to it. ralph bent us over real good.
  7. why is this so hard for you guys to believe? we just cut our 2nd round pick from 2 years ago...
  8. is it me, or is this really similar to the board looked like 10 years ago (minus the threaded views, of course)?
  9. I suppose if you're drafting at 9, and the running back sitting there looks like a once-in-a-generation talent, you take him. But I have a hard time believing that will be the case. As always, I hope I am wrong about this clusterfugg of an NFL team, but how many years in a row do we have suck before a 40-year fan is not completely justified in expecting the worst? I thinki am more than justified to call this a STUPID pick until proven otherwise. Because those of us who know our front office is a joke and our owner is beyond inept keeping being proved right. You're right Bill, Ralph is a genius. He's wheels out his industrial strength 55-gallon drum of turd polish every year and like magic the stadium fills up (of course I say this after having ponied up for Sunday Ticket for the first time ever- so I guess I am part of the problem). I mean, I know it is one hell of a party out there in Orchard Park 7 times a year (and before I forget, F.U. Ralph for selling off a home game to a bunch of people who couldn't care less about the Bills...more than anything else, I'll never forgive you for that), but is it really worth being bent over again and again by this miserly old coot? Cause you know where this season is going, whether Spiller is a star or not. Lightning struck this franchise once when Ralph accidentally hired a few guys who knew what they were doing about 25 years ago. Should we really expect anything better than a handful of wins from this bunch? I am still expecting one win. If we can go a few weeks at the start of the season without too many injuries, we might win three. Come back and give me hell, Promo Style, if I am wrong.
  10. crappy valley, i presume.
  11. i still think it's an awful pick, and if you need it explained to you, it's a waste of energy for me to type it.
  12. say it with me: ONE...AND...FIFTEEN
  13. i am telling you. 1-15. as always, i hope i am wrong. but history tells us you can't set the bar too low for this p.o.s. franchise.
  14. you don't like objectivity? which of my points do you disagree with and why? ok, the fan balance at the steeler game might be 50/50.
  15. yeah i was stunned that wasn't called back...can't believe theisman didn't pick it up!...hahaha... it was an outrageous no-call. i wish gailey would have gone castroneves on the nearest zebra. maybe that would wake up these losers masquerading as NFL players.
  16. what were you thinking? not to worry, i am sure your judgment is perfectly sane and normal when you're not on this site.
  17. yeah i know, it is only pre-season and the boys are just tired from all their 2-a-days. this is an awful team, edwards is an awful qb. this organization is also worse than awful. ralph's "exhaustive search" for a gm led to a rejection, by his own admission, of every candidate he didn't already know...nix's reaching down to the bottom of the barrel to hire the only "experienced" coach who would take the job...spiller was an unbelievably awful pick for a team that gets pushed right off the ball on both sides of the line on every play. guys are already hurt. wait till the injuries start in earnest. we'll be picking guys up off the street and starting them just like every year. we'll win one game in november (not the pgh game because their homefield advantage in orchard park will make them too tough) and that will be it. who do you like at #1 overall next year? oh- and since i haven't posted it in awhile, f.u. ralph. you are the most incompetent owner in the league.
  18. steve! long time no see...you making any money off that smartyjones website?
  19. give me threaded views or give me death. and i went to elementary school with lori. top that.
  20. Ralph sucks. The sooner he doesn't own this team, the better.
