it is so glaringly obvious that people don't want to deal with ralph and his erratic cluelessness. here's a prediction: people will be mocking buddy nix's comment that he's not "the smartest guy in the room" for years to come...and he will come to be known as just another of ralph's senile short-sighted blunders.

No one knows whether either of them were offered ten million a year. Let's just get that out on the table right now. That number has been upchucked by the media and fans but that's as far as it goes. As far as why the Bills would be spurned by a viable candidate? Three words: RALPH C WILSON. A really good coach would be justifiably reluctant at working for an owner who is clearly in the early-to-middle stages of age-related dementia. I mean, COME ON, can we just be honest about this? If you had options, would you CHOOSE to work for a guy who has Russ Brandon stick his head out the window once a week so he can figure out what flavor of **** sandwich he should feed his naïve fan base? Would you choose to work for a guy who had his lackey make a list of GM candidates, then throw it in the garbage because "we didn't really know those guys" and then pick between his two closest yes-men? If you could pick, you would not choose to work for an impulsive senile person. You just wouldn't. And I predict that when Ralph goes you're going to hear stories that will make "The Madness of King George" sound like a fairy tale.

It is very simple. We have so much invested in this team that many fans can't accept the reality that we have a senile doddering old fool for an owner and he makes senile doddering, foolish decisions. So when someone who is free to be objective points out the obvious, they attack. They'll tell it's because he's not a good writer or that he know football, but it's really just that acknowledging the truth drives home just what a futile exercise it is to be a Bills fan. It's Ralph and his slowly progressing dementia that scare people away. His GM choice proves he hasn't a clue and nobody good wants anything to do with him.

Actually I'd say he does have our best interests at heart... Considering the way he rails on ralph for the MICKEY EFFING MOUSE way he run this organization. As far as I am concerned he is the afans' best friend. Regarding Harbaugh, he makes a compelling case. I'd like to se him interviewed if we don't get Cowher. Anybody that can turn Toby Gerhart into a Heisman contender is a gifted coach. And I gotta think it's just a matter of time until this guy lands a job and does well.

i'm glad they're taking the coaching search a little more seriously than they took the GM search...

i still subscribe to my own theory: sucky players who get dominated physically get put into more physically damaging situations as a matter of course.
