  1. yeah, nobody wants to be treated like that, and no one wants to see their teammate humiliated like that. some of these good old boys don't understand that woody hayes has been dead and buried for a long time now. what a freaking idiot. i want him nowhere near the bills.
  2. unbelievable...
  3. if that's true it would be really funny if he's right about all this...
  4. yeah...that is just STUPID. even if he was faking it and causing trouble on the team, you just gave the kid the moral high ground. dumb dumb dumb.
  5. cause we have nothing to lose. however this works out, i can't be any more disappointed than i have been over the last 10 years anyway.
  6. for what it was, i thought the show was terrific. POWER TO THE PEOPLE BABY! for all the bitching about espn we see on this site, you'd think a guy who is the ANTI-espn and who does his own legwork would get a little respect. he sure doesn't sound any worse than anybody on wgr...and that is not a knock on wgr...
  7. i'm with you 100% and i have been railing against ralph for a very long time now. but you gotta summon up a little holiday spirit here...
  8. love the saints b/c one of the players was my student, but that defense....ugh...so i am saying colts/vikes. vikes in an upset...
  9. the bills will be playing their asses off to get on bill cowher's good side. i'm predicting a win. whatever rob johnson's stats were in the 99 season-ender against the colts...brohm will top them.
  10. ice is a genius...no one has the power to get so many people so pissed off so fast with one short post. that takes talent.
  11. whether he was "abusive" in his treatment of this kid or not, his way of dealing with him shows such an appalling lack of judgment that i don't want him near the bills. he went out of his way to humiliate the kid, which to me proves there is no way he can handle grown men.
  12. i'd actually pay to watch ice debate ice vs. joe 6pack on a live webcast.
  13. wow, you're doing great so far. now how are you going to get us out of this toronto bullcrap?
  14. no one wants to get too worked up over what still amounts to no more than rumor, but if the guy has ANY sort of track record for being on target, then that's a positive. i'm more concerned about the ownership issue anyway, so if THAT'S true, then it is already a happy new year. and i have to say, it was an entertaining show. i think it could only be topped by you doing a show from YOUR mom's basement.
  15. really? i would have bet anything it was about byrd making the pro bowl.
  16. i know you didn't ask me, but think about it...they HAVE to be the least attractive job based on ralph wilson's track record alone. even if he let you do what you wanted to do as a coach and/or gm and didn't nickel and dime you to death (two things he's been well known to do by everyone in the league), he's selling off your home games. what coach would want to come into a situation like this playing 1 less home game than everyone else? and that is to say nothing of the fact that his mental competence is questionable. if there were 32 vacancies for coach and/or gm in the league, this would HAVE to be the least attractive.
  17. boy you are right...that is a very bad sign...if they don't make those changes at obd you know without any shadow of a doubt that ralph is no longer mentally competent. i already think he isn't, but this would prove it.
  18. holy **** i think you're right
  19. i think you may be missing the point. we have a roster full of inferior players who get dominated week in and week out. when your ass is busy getting dominated like a prison rape on every play, but you are still giving 100% like almost every one of these guys continues to do (except for maybe TO, who coincidentally has stayed pretty much in one piece), you get put in all kinds of "unhealthy" situations. our sucky players get bent up and twisted and thrown around like rag dolls- of course they're going to get hurt. mark kelso said on the air sunday that they're doing the same level and quality of conditioning they did when rusty was here. and that the players are in GREAT shape. what he didn't say was the real reason behind the injuries: the players suck. and the reason he didn't is because he can't.
  20. i know. i think he must have 4 or 5 screen names on this site. "strength and conditioning" is not rocket surgery. i'm sure rusty was very good at what he did, but his departure is not the reason we're always hurt. our guys are either smallish and/or too unathletic to stay out of trouble. i know big guys get hurt and great athletes get hurt too, but most big good athletes get hurt less.
  21. unlike losman and countless others before him , I'm still not convinced edwards can't play. it does appear that whatever happened to him here in buffalo "ruined" him, in a manner of speaking. clearly he's not the guy we need and he needs a change of scenery. but it's going to suck when he lands somewhere else and starts playing well...
  22. ralph will be lucky to get his ass cleaned once in awhile this off-season. he wouldn't have the slightest idea what to do at obd.
  23. why stop there...jp losman, willis mcgahee, mike williams, erik flowers. they all seem like just yesterday..
  24. maybin i hate you. you useless shrimp.
  25. as usual the bills look like a bunch of fukking amateurs out there.
