I'm one of the those purple koolaid drinkers myself. I was positive we would at least end up 50/50 this year and now I'm taking the koolaid for supper. You're right, the team sucks and its nearly impossible to lay blame anywhere except management and coaches. Our DC is incompetent, but Perry Fewell wasn't all that much better last year, at least statistically. Our players seem to care, our coach says all the right things, as compared to the idiots who were the previous four coaches, but still isn't getting it done. I'm just glad it's not my fanny on the fire, as I don't have any answers either.

It's the Kay, Hank and Chan variety show. We have Edwards as the bafoon, Whitner as the freak and Johnson as the juggler. All we need is the fat lady and the sword swallower and we have a great show.

Alex Van Pelt is available, and remember how good a job he did as OC.

I know who we have, but I wonder if he shows up for games. We don't have a defense, we have a sponge...porous and easily absorbs and releases the flood.

We might as well spend the rest of the year evaluating what we have as players, and get rid of the excess baggage and get anything we can get for our aged, over-the-hill players we do have on the roster. Stroud is solid, but old and I'm sure we could max out our 4th round drafting potential by sending him packing.

I admit I am one of those "geniuses" you mentioned. I was completely wrong and its going to be a very, very long year. It's time for the Bills to evaluate all personnel, and see if any of them are worth keeping. They should give Brohm a chance, as Fitz looked below average.

Thanks for taking the high road. At times, we tend to all fall short when the team is losing. You're right, either you are a fan, or you are not. There is not middle ground.

Bring back Chuck Knox for our Defensive Coordinator position. He was a defensive genious, but no so much on offense.

I agree with you. Not only poor vision, but lack of desire to hit the hole immediately. I'm sure he will do well at Seattle behind a competent line, but his time here was limited with that acquisition of Spiller. Now, all we need is to teach Spiller to run forward, and not backward.

Agreed, out offensive is so pitifal, it can't stop the our own defense. The Wildcat is nothing more than a variation of the wishbone, and that has been obsolete for years.

We need to find a really good DE or OL to help the team in the trenches.

Do you think Chan traded Lynch to open a roster position and bring in more talent? There has been no commentary or information about who filled his spot. Ideas?

You are one cruel SOB! I laughed my butt off. Lynch should be right at home in Seattle, he can get back with his hommies and feel right at home. Nothing like a little west coast gangsta activities to brighten one's day. I think its a LLC with Rickie Williams as his co-owner.
