  1. I was a bit dissappointed with Reggie Corner's play tonight. ---I felt he was an 'up and comer' with tons of potential. I still have faith in him. I bet he stews over his play and comes back with two picks next week !
  2. This sucks. However it does silence the 155 postings a day from posters calling for Lynch to be traded. However, J. Bell did look promising tonight..........Trade Freddie, Trade Freddie, Trade Freddie!!!!
  3. The first time I ever heard his name called was for a penalty during an onside kick. Fast fwd a year and the second time I heard his name called was for roughing the passer. ----I guess he's improving.
  4. After watching the first half, I'm 'downgrading' my predictions and lowering my expectations. -----Bills will go 15-1. Probably lose to the Packers.
  5. We should bring Jerry Rice out of Retirement and sign him! * pun intended
  6. I got goosebumps! ------Great post to start the 2010 season! Go Bills!! Now, Back to my box of wine.
  7. Not sure how much this weighs into things, but...... In fantasy football I was reviewing Strength of schedule, a tool that really helps predict fantasy football value (which is directly related to things like yards, TD's, catches etc) of players. This year the Bills S.O.S. for the QB position was 3rd easiest in the league. ----Meaning the teams the Bills play this year collectively, allowed the 3rd most (fantasy) points to QB's last year. The only downer was that we play the Jets twice and they allowed the least overall 'points' to QB's on a weekly basis. If we didn't play them twice, we would unquestionably have the easiest and lightest schedule for a QB this year. On the downside.... Our RB S.O.S. is near the bottom of the pack. I believe (off of last nights drunken memory) was around 30 or 31st. Meaning our RB's will be facing some of the most stout Running defenses of last year. Granted, that is off of 'last years' defensive stats, but that is a concern, since our running game, in theory, should be our bread and butter this year. Now those S.O.S. stats don't always mean we face the top 10 defenses, just defenses that didn't allow fantasy points to RB's (again, fantasy pts are based on yards, TD's, catches etc) and does in fact correlate to a defenses capabilities. The Bills weren't an NFL 'ranked' top ten Defense, but they were ranked #2 against the pass in 'fantasy' standards. I hope the QB and the entire team do well this year and shut some nay sayers up, however I hope Trent doesnt look great against our easy S.O.S. for Qb's this year, garner a long term deal, only to be disappointed in 2011, 2012 and 2013 when we go back to facing mediocre or stout passing defenses. That would give us a 'false sense' of hope for the long haul. 10-6 Trent throws for 3300 yds, 23TD's and 11 ints. Just my thoughts. Go Bills!
  8. ABSOLUTELY CORRECT I listen to Sirius/XM fantasy radio shows....very helpful. fantasyguru.com - pay $30 for outstanding tools, stats and up to minute reports. Grab the USA today paper that should be coing out shortly, about $6 or $7, up to date (it will be released in a week or so) and it is easy to read. If you grab the first 'Draft issue' that is about 40 pages, you will see that they will come out on a weekly basis (Wednesdays) and can help you throughout the year.
  9. The Bills are usually an 'afterthought' when the National media ranks or talks about them. I am a fantasy football junkie and even FF publications have the Bills Def ranked #25 or LOWER! The same rhetoric about the Bills having no #2 WR and Marshawn getting traded before the season starts seems to permiate every FF magazine. Its like nobody is at camp watching or reading weekly updates about players and/or their progression. Miami Doesn't have a #2 WR, and before the Marshall trade, they didn't even have a #1 WR. Their defense was suspect but their running game was sound and I've seen them ranked as high as #6 overall by Sports Illustrated. SI had Seattle ranked 11th???? Why? It chaps my a$$ but I have to take it in stride. Heck, some team has to ranked #1 and some poor team has to be the bottom feeded at #32. ---I guess when they rank the Bills as the bottom feeder we have nowhere to go but up. Just my thoughts. Go Bills!
  10. The landscape of the NFL changes so much every year. If Trent doesn't work out, there WILL BE a Matt Schaub, a Donovan McNabb or a Jay Cutler who is out there via FA. The Bills need to be able to pounce (and pay) for one of these proven franchise QB's.
  11. I agree! I always grab a Def late, or just work the waiver wire until I find a gem like New Orleans last year-- Suprisingly, even with the Bills coming off of a 28 int /32 sack season and having some of the most dynamic KR/PR's, the Bills are NOT considered a sleeper Def. --- I don't get it?? Sports Illustrated doesn't even have them rated in the top 25 Defenses??? I grabbed the Bills in 5 out of the 6 mock drafts that I already did online, I'm not only hoping, but expecting them to be a top 8 fantasy Defense.
  12. Thank Goodness I never bought a Schobel Jersey.
  13. If you are trying to get to the coveted '100th post' ---just post these on a daily basis, No need to come up with a ridiculous conspiracy theory post like this one.
  14. I hope your near 15,000 posts are not as negative as this one. When the Bills win 'at least' 7 this year, you'll be wrong AGAIN.
  15. After you replied 'news to me' you gave the 'thumbs up' --- curious why you would use such a relatvely positive gesture when you were trying to imply pun and sarcasm. Then you neatly placed eight 'wall-bash' icons in a row. Is there a reason why you chose eight? ---As a reader, I was getting a mixed message from your simple yet confusing reply.
