  1. You know, half the reason I posted this was just to see the comments it would draw about how I'm a Nix supporter now despite not even addressing that subject. Just because I grow tired of seeing every thread turn into a Buddy bashing doesn't mean I think he is the savior for this team. I have actually noticed that there are very few people here who think that Buddy has been successful as a GM, but those who seem to constantly bash Buddy always turn any non-Buddy bashing into the poster having Buddy manlove. I am just saying, instead of every thread (plus the countless other threads dedicated to this topic yet to be created) we should have a special place where the "Terminally Cynical" can hang out in one place and discuss how terrible we are.
  2. Can we just make a pinned "Fire Nix, He Sucks" thread? He's the latest TBD whipping boy, might as well make it easier for people to B word about him in one spot. Plus, it'd keep the board clear of the imminent 28 threads about him in the next couple days.
  3. This is the only one yet that I'm disappointed we missed out on. He's risky though considering his small résumé in the NFL. I think he's a good player but now that he's headed to Miami I hope I'm wrong.
  4. Sad to lose him, but I'm glad we didn't match that offer. Best of luck to him, he was a true professional.
  5. We turned in the card already?!? Can't we wait til the draft is over at least to B word about who we picked?
  6. Quiet, you. The rest of TBD has just found another reason to hate Buddy, let them revel in their new found knowledge.
  7. I've been following her for years. She's the only credible news source out there. I'll give you all a tweet by tweet account of what's REALLY happening in Buffalo.
  8. That's my thinking as well. I'm not sure I'd want Kruger if his price is what I'm guessing it will be. Ellerbe would be a great pickup for us though.
  9. I would like to see us show interest in him. He is young, big and hasn't had much of a chance to prove himself (as has been alluded to multiple times up-thread). He would be pretty cheap and nice to have on the roster at the very least.
  10. I hope not, I don't want my new jersey to be out of date already
  11. Good now 50% of the posts here won't contain a Kelsay reference
  12. I'm pretty sure that since she finished the highest a woman ever has in the Daytona 500 (all the other races/series are irrelevant to this discussion) and that she is the first woman to lead a lap under green and the first woman to take a pole position at the 500, that qualifies as history even in the most basic definition of the word. Words mean things. What Danica did was history, plain and simple. If you think that it is a meaningless piece of history or whatever, that's fine, but to say that she didn't make history is wrong. History doesn't have to impress you to qualify as history.
  13. La Canfora is usually right. I wonder which team though.
  14. One of my biggest pet peeves. It just throws off everything else said after that for me.
  15. I just cannot understand the love for these that people have. They're just incredibly dumb to me. To each their own though.
  16. I'm 24 and I've already learned that lesson. It's actually about the 3rd or 4th thing I check out on a woman.
  17. Totally off topic, but is anyone that's using Tapatalk seeing "Sorry, content not available" for the OP and a few others in this thread? I've never seen that before
  18. Some ill-advised promise made to an untalented prospect? I've tried for a while, but I have absolutely no idea what the hell you could possibly mean by this. To quote SDS the "terminally cynical" are still alive and well.
  19. I'm surprised it took til the 7th post for there to be a Kelsay post
  20. All I want to add is that Geno is not a running QB. If you don't believe me you can look up his rushing stats over his WVU career.
  21. You make some good points. I do not believe that him wanting to stay, and wanting to test the FA market are mutually exclusive things (not saying you said that). I have a hard time believing that he will be let go unless he gets a HUGE offer from a contender. I would not be surprised to see him signed shortly before FA starts, e.g. Stevie.
  22. I remember when that came out there was a thread on here discussing that. That was the same time as he made the statement I referenced. I found it odd for Levitre to say what he said and then Sully to come out with that. Found the blog by Chris Brown that contains the quote I referred to. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2012/12/31/levitre-on-wanting-to-be-back/
  23. One thing I never see posted is that while Andy was cleaning out his locker he said something along the lines of "my desire to stay in Buffalo is a 10 out of 10." Pretty big statement for him to make to never be brought up in the discussions about him. I tried searching for the quote but it's not that easy on my phone. I'll do more looking for it once I can get to my computer.
