  1. I don’t see anything in those quotes that are legit confirmations that they actually tried to sign him and Bojo wanted out. More of Beane speaking nicely about a former player and not trashing him. At the end of the day he was very good at punting. It was his holding that has ruined him. On 3 different teams now as it stands. But, you are correct. Just because Araiza hasn’t really don’t it or hasn’t proved it, doesn’t mean he won’t be able to. He’s an accomplished FG kicker as well, so I have no doubt he will be able to get on the same page as Bass and work it all out. Likely more so than other punters because of his FG experience.
  2. Well, their salaries last year tell you completely different. I think you are paying too much attention to what people actually say because Haack made almost double what Bojo did last year. If they were prepared to pay Haack that much, they surely would have been willing to pay Bojo that much. The fact is they weren’t comfortable with him being place holder for Bass. Which is also why he was cut from the Packers. And it’s exactly why Beane (if you want to pay attention to what he has said) said in his press conference yesterday that there’s much more to punting that just kicking the ball. He specifically brought up holding and said that Haack is an “elite holder”. Takes about holding the ball for almost 5 minutes out of a 20+ minute press conference about all the draft picks. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/matt-haack-22270/ https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cleveland-browns/corey-bojorquez-25923/
  3. He made less than Haack did last year. Like half as much. I doubt this statement is true.
  4. Yeah I don’t see Poyer going that route. Doesn’t seem like him really. Honestly, I get the agent change triggers people but it could just be he wanted someone better to deal for him on what is likely his last contract. Also, his wife seems to be more vocal about his contract than he is. At some point you just have to realize what you are and what your worth. He is 33 right? His time is almost over, get your ring while you can. He’s already rich.
  5. I can’t believe our own RB can’t even get to 100 pages. Bust
  6. Idk a our that. Honey Badger and Jaquiski Tartt still out there as FAs. Could argue that Badger is better and Tartt is cheaper. FYI I’m not advocating for this. Just saying options are currently there if Poyer wants to play rough.
  7. Why bother? We’re just going to trade away our entire 2023 draft for Breece Hall anyway.
  8. I just want to get IN on this failure before it gets destroyed. That or we have the workings of another 100 page thread thinking up nicknames.
  9. Well it’s official @IronMaidenBills we now must hope for an epic bust because Hall is a Jet.
  10. Whoa whoa whoa. 104 pages? Now this is getting out of hand.
  11. Cmon. One more page. Almost there.
  12. There’s still time to trade back into the first round to pick Hall. Don’t give up yet.
  13. Longer. Because some of us will never let it die. For or against.
  14. Just checking in to help get this thing over 100. im sure once the clock starts ticking we will have many more comments dropping
  15. Just here now to add to this thread. Let’s go 100.
  16. I’m sending your neighbors over to get your dog now then. If all you have is feet I don’t want her being kicked.
  17. Sounds like you’ll be throwing your remote through your TV too. Don’t kick your dog while your at it. She did nothing to you.
  18. Whatever. people like you make me want to trade the entire draft to trade up for a RB that we could have had at 57 anyway just to watch your head explode. stay safe out there. Enjoy your misery if they take Hall tonight.
  19. The point is, they are connected. If a RB is having a good game/year in fantasy they are likely producing for their teams in major ways. And that makes it beneficial to us. I don’t play fantasy anymore. But I laugh at guys like Schoop that will sit there and say things like “never ever a first round RB” and then in the next sentence talk about drafting Taylor or CMC as their #1 fantasy pick. It’s just comical.
  20. Recent movies being shot in Buffalo seem to suggest this is incorrect. There’s been more shot in Buffalo in previous years tho point to Buffalo actually spending some tax incentives to do it. I just think it looked bad for us and that’s why they nixxed it. Just my opinion.
  21. Yeah. It’s tough for people to argue against it but they somehow do. All because theyve been indoctrinated into thinking the RB position is useless. Yet every single year in fantasy leagues they are like the top 3-5 players taken. I guess those fantasy points don’t actually mean anything on the field during games.
  22. Yup. I’ve seen the line play in each of the last 3 years with Singletary as well. He doesn’t have it. He’s not any better than average. He’s exactly the kind of player you get at the position when you draft one in round 3 every year. At some point we need to stop spinning the wheels and just get a good one. oh, and they aren’t drafting an OL in the first round anyway because they have done too much this off-season to justify it. They are going into the season with what we have at OL regardless how many people think we’re taking one. Unless someone slides way down the boards and we pick them up in mid/late rounds that shouldn’t be there anyway. So what your saying is the RB had the ability to score from just about anywhere in the field and ripped off a 40 yard TD to make it 2 for him that day and you say he had nothing to do with winning the game? got it. Makes all the sense in the world now. Your football knowledge is baffling.
  23. Yet here we are, 4 years into Devin Singletary and we still can’t get 100 yards out of a RB. Isn’t that a reason you should find one young and in their prime in a rookie deal and have them locked up for 4-6 years while your QB is also in his prime and in a super bowl window? I forgot, we’re not talking logically. So yeah, we shouldnt draft a RB.
  24. Until one of them gets hurt. Because everyone gets hurt right. So maybe we should just exclude ourselves from the draft process altogether because eventually all these guys are gonna get hurt anyway. Or want big contracts when they get good
