he had all those in Michigan and Tenessee and he was backing up mediocre guys for 5 years. huh?
-
4 wins is 4 wins. Milton played for 6 years in 2 Big time programs--amassing a total of 5300 yards 37 TDs in 43 games. He was backing up Shea Patterson (who??) at Michigan and Henden Hooker in Tennessee (one of whom made it onto a roster as a backup). Where's the upside?
-
You think Milton, with 1 game in his resume will? That doesn't make sense. If Josh goes down, the season's over ---this is true with nearly any true franchise QB on a playoff contender. I'd rather have a guy who has seen and read many Defenses in actual games if I had to choose. The Bills were actively trying to lose that last game where Milton "won".

Dobbs has forgotten more football than Milton (I, II or III) will ever know.

McDermott in animated discussion with Roseman?
Mr. WEO replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
As DrD says above--it's another QB sneak. no doubt it's grueling--After the loss in the SB, this iron man didn't want to go through the grind any more.. he retired when he wanted to, lasting 13 years--not missing a start except in his second season, including all 12 post-season games. How many guys have missed games after the tush push injury? -
McDermott in animated discussion with Roseman?
Mr. WEO replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's rich....Where were those player (his own) safety concerns when he was repeatedly calling this play? the short answer is that there is no real safety issue. he's throwing in the towel, admitting like many other FOs that their D line simply cannot stop the O-line Roseman has assembled. -

It would only make sense to get out of those deals ASAP. why leave money on the table? -

the joke was if the Bills dressed as the Chiefs they would get by with all the calls and get all the SB appearances and... jeez, never mind.... -
Nah. I only documented the worst of the screwups that doomed the Bills in that game. They were up 16-0 until the Texans scored at the end of the 3rd Q. They were still in complete command. Then in the 4th Q, the Offense completely imploded. O-line was awful. Josh was hero balling. They had 2 possessions that had them at Texans 25 1st and 10 (no points after Josh grounded the ball and then took a 19 yards sack) and 1st and 10 at the Texans 29 which included 3 incompletes to Duke Williams. 3 points go them to OT. After the blindside call, the next play was another incomplete to the awful Duke. Punt. Then the D gives up a 34 yard run by Watson from midfield. The Bills came out of halftime completely ready to give this game away. If you re-watched it last night, it all comes crashing back.
-
That crazy last 34 yards pass play by Watson....Hyde with a huge whiff, Poyer way off the play downfield.
-
That O- line was so awful
-
Cody Ford (horrible the entire game)getting abused all game by Watt. Feliciano whiffing on a block on Josh 4th Q fumble. Hyde playing tag on Watsons first rushing TD. D-Hop smoking Tre. Poyer out of position on every play in the last 5 minutes. Dopey Daboll targeting Duke Williams (by far the worst hands in the state of Texas that day) 10 times and calling Gore's number on a 2nd and 10 Watson would have one more season of his couple flashes in the pan career

tough call for the Bills but obviously his intent was not to run it out. "eye In the sky" was used for spotting neuro injuries at that time.
